Trainers give you blisters in places you didn't know your feet could get them - so blood all over the back of the white trainers lol. Jumper didn't have a nice fit so went to return the item but their return shipping label sends it to Sweden, which got stuck there for 3 months - CS didn't care and couldn't find it. When it was sent back, due to Brexit, they warned a £10 fee.
Almost any other designer is better quality, better fit, better comfort and have a working returns system.

NEVER AGAIN! I paid £170 for a new pair of sneakers with creases, this surely is illegal. Not fit for purpose. The tongue and side had creases, you can see in the images attached one tongue is creased and other isn't. Absolutely ridiculous flagship store that has never got any sizes in stock and the ones in stock have been worn and torn because of people trying them on. Not worth your money. The box was ripped, looked like no care taken of it.
Staff are not very friendly! Didn't look bothered. For this review I wish there was 0 star rating!

This review relates to an online order in which the service has been nothing short of shocking.
I understand that during the Covid period, we all have challenges but simply not picking up the phone and excuse after excuse about the delivery (which is a complete rip off at £8 for standard delivery) not arriving is ridiculous.
Poor communication, no offer of an apology and nearly a month after my order placed which never arrived, I still do not have a refund!
I have purchased many shoes from here in store and online so as a fan, to write this review is frustrating, but necessary for Axel Arigato to sit up and think about their delivery, customer service and operations policy.

Really nice shoes, got myself a pair of Cream Clean 90’s. They look so clean and the silhouette is amazing.
They take quite a few wears to break in and as expected with leather shoes they do crease but not as much as you’d expect.
The only reason for the 4 star review is that the gold lettering inside the shoe has come off within 2 wears.
The shoe was also marked when it arrived, one shoes was fine, the other had a few marks on it but didn’t want to bother sending them back to get another pair.
The print on the inside of the shoe needs to be much better quality but apart from that these are great shoes, I’d recommend going 1/2 a size down.

Great shoes but service could definitely improve. Workers blend in with customers and you need to actively look for someone to help you as no one is proactive to approach you and offer help. Shoes are still amazing though.

Shoes are ok, but not for the price, would stick with Stan Smiths. They are also slow to ship and beyond slow to refund. They need to up their game to match other retailer’s timeframes.

Avoid at all costs!!! I have ruined my feet continuously for a year in a false hope that perhaps the shoes just need to be ‘worn in ‘ , however after my last attempt I simply will throw them in bin . It is an insult to shoe makers around the world and a waste of £160 .

I love this brand, I have a few pairs of shoes, the service though, is shocking. I walked in, was looking for a particular item, the staff ignored me, so I decided to leave, the staff then say " thanks for coming in".... Great brand.

Love the brand, but this shop doesn't have loads of stock. I've been in 3x (for different shoe sizes) and they've never had the size I required. Staff are nice and shop layout is done well, but treat it as a showroom, not really a retailer.

I have been coming in for months looking for a pair of high tops and they are never in stock in my size. With the declining trend in brick and mortar retailers youd think a flagship would offer something in my size (11). I'm going elsewhere which sucks as when I buy something I usually stick with the same for years.

Went in to buy a gift, the service left much to be desired. I was left waiting a long time for one item (a small leather good) and was given the item without it being shown to me and was poorly gift wrapped. It had a ribbon much too small for the box and with a sticker on the outside describing the contents! (thus ruining the element of surprise that comes with gift wrapping.)
Bizarrely, I had to ask for a bag which then caused another long wait. Luckily I opened the box later to find the item was free of marks but I won't be shopping in the store again after this experience.

Staff friendly & helpful the store clean and well presented. Latest technology used to view stock items etc. There is a resident DJ playing some good dance music. I also received a free bottle of Axel Arigato water!

Bought some shoes whilst in Stockholm which looked great, but after wearing them only once some of the stitching started to come undone. Took them in to the London store to get their help to repair/replace. They told me it wasn't their problem because they operated as a 'separate business'. And to call/post them back to Stockholm myself at my own expense/inconvenience. That might make business sense to them, but its very unhelpful from a customer perspective, when it's still the same brand.
Their tone of voice was rather rude, arrogant and unsympathetic as well. I'd expect more from them given the look/feel of their store and the prices of their shoes. Big shame as the experience in the Stockholm store was far better!!!!
