Their service is absolutely atrocious. My Gucci watch broken within less than a year and I sent it to the Gucci store at Bond street to get it fixed. The service was terrible, staff didnt help and were not welcoming. I had to pretty much beg them to help repair the watch even when it was stil under official warranty. For all those thinking of buying gucci watches, I would say reconsider and really look into the other brands because it's obvious that their service and product quality lags far behind other luxury brands. After they repaired my watch, they didn't even return the box or the product care book which has the warranty. When I asked for theses, the staff was angry at me and told me why did I give them the box anyways! Terrible terrible experience with this brand and I hope none of you will have to go through it.

I had been looking for a "Gucci" watch with diamonds around a round face; it could be a black face or mother of pearl, or any base, but I wanted a round face, and at least one diamond...My girlfriends around the world searched Italy, France, U.S., Hong Kong, and other world venues for "my ideal watch"! When a model was designed and had limited quantities, my friends told me. I flew to London and visited Bond Street Gucci. The store was as expected, haughty. The clerks were as expected, beautiful. I was nervous to spend what I thought was a lot of money--$3,400US on my dream watch. I left the store, deciding that the price was too high even though I had saved enough, and... hoping that it would not be sold in case I changed my mind in two hours. I returned to find that the last watch of that collection was indeed gone. Alas, it was 4:55pm, and I had hedged too long. Or, did I? The beautiful lady/clerk I mentioned had set it in the back, knowing I would return that day. Everyone at Gucci was so happy that I returned, as they knew that this was a huge purchase for me ( a new author). They took me across the street via a secret passage to fit me for the watch.
I must say, the jewelers at Gucci, Bond Street location are anything but snooty! They were so caring and considerate. I think that customers are treated the way they treat those they are dealing with. Although I am a shrewd (heck, I typed in screwed--ha ha) negotiator in regular business, I was a sympathetic customer who wanted their product, but thought it was too, over-the-top in price. They understood that if I purchased that watch that it would mean "the world" to me...they made that dream happen!
I hope people read this because I have always remembered my trip to Bond Street Gucci as the "best" customer service I ever received (and, now I have a considerable allowance and still believe that Gucci gives great service--and, btw, Gucci in NYC is just the same)

The fact my sister in law was busy buying loads of items yet I was told to queue to get into store to join her left me speechless the fact she spent hundreds and hundreds of pounds yet the door person would not let me in ... nor get my sis in law to give me entry to join her on 1st floor left a foul taste in my mouth I will NEVER visit this store again

Unfortunately, there was a queue outside, that customers had to stand in and wait to enter the shop, so I walked off and took my money elsewhere. This was a shame, as I shopped here a few weeks ago, and I like Gucci products.
