Have been meaning to write this review for a while...Just wanted to say a huge thank you to Jo and her team at Venus diamonds for being alongside us on the journey from engagement to our wedding day. Right from the start Jo was highly personable, an attentive listener and had the ability to make us feel at ease whilst choosing rings that were right for us as a couple. We felt so happy with the engagement ring that we returned back to this place for our wedding bands! She was also willing to go that extra mile and ensure that we had everything we were looking for, including the personalised touches! Would highly recommend this place if are looking for somewhere that you are not just a customer but a place where they will invest in you both as a couple and your individual story.

My fiancé and I were browsing in The Lanes and came across a beautiful selection of unusual yellow sapphire and diamond rings in the window of Venus Diamonds. My fiancé surprised me by offering to buy me one as a replacement engagement ring but -being a cynical chap- thought he’d like to have a shop around online to compare pricing and see what else was available.
After a couple of weeks of looking around we had almost decided on a ring when we returned to Brighton for other reasons and found ourselves looking in their windows again. This time we were invited in to the shop and shown their beautiful selection of sapphire rings and - when I couldn’t decide- a range of alternative settings. They spent so much time with us, helping me to discover the right stone and setting for me, as well as respecting my fiancé’s budget. There was absolutely no pressure selling and we felt totally confident that we were dealing with a respectable and conscientious jeweller.
We agreed on a bespoke ring at a very fair and competitive price, then eagerly waited the six weeks needed for it to be created. Venus Diamonds kept us well informed during the process as we went in and out of lockdown, swiftly answering any queries via email that I had. Although I was slightly nervous at commissioning a ring rather impulsively, I needn’t have worried. When we finally were able to pick my ring- we were absolutely blown away. The ring was more beautiful than we could have ever imagined and the quality is superb. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Venus Diamonds to anyone as the service and product we received was second to none. I am absolutely besotted with my stunning ring, thank you Venus Diamonds.

From a casual stroll through the lanes of Brighton, my partner and I were just window browsing. As is common with the shops in the lanes, particularly jewellers, we were spotted by Jo who was dressing a window display. While my partner was guessing incorrectly at the ring I was pointing at, Jo instantly knew which ring it was and pointed at it. She then came out and asked us if we would like to come in and have a look at lots more similar. We did and with the gentle, non-pushy influence of Jo and her colleague Arkhan (sorry if the spelling is wrong). We collected the rings within the estimated time and we've had a fantastic experience. Totally recommend this business.

I can not thank Jo and the team at Venus Diamond in Brighton enough they were absolutely brilliant. Jo ever so welcoming and enthusiastic was able to guide me into finding the perfect engagement ring for my partner. I had been wandering the Lanes for a while but not really sure where to begin, Jo approached me from the store front and offered to help. I was quite resilient of the idea of being approached at first but in hindsight with out Jo's insightful knowledge and patience (with my decision making) I would still be looking now. Jo gave me the confidence to make use of Venus Diamond's bespoke jewellery service, I was able to sketch an idea and specify details that (to my surprise) suited my budget. Venus made the ring in their workshop and after around 6 weeks I returned to the store, who had help me set-up a surprise presentation and proposal in their shop window for my partner. It was an unforgettable experience and I am extremely grateful to Joanna and Venus Diamond. The ring is so personal to us both and absolutely perfect. Thank-you!

My partner and I ventured to The Lanes in Brighton from London without much of an idea of what we wanted for our wedding rings. Overwhelmed with all of the jewellers, we were window browsing when Jo playfully displayed her stock from inside. She then came out and invited us in and right from the start we felt at ease.
A wide range to choose from for many budgets, we were extremely impressed with the customer service received and the care taken in supporting our decision. Our rings were customised to our preference and were ready within the agreed timeframe.
For something that was daunting with so much choice, we are so glad that Jo found us and we absolutely love our rings.
Highly recommend if you are seeking a friendly and personalised experience.

Excellent. We had visited a few jewellers before arriving at Venus Diamond, but none afterwards! Very helpful and thorough service and Jo patiently helped us to find the right rings for us, which we did. We ended up with a good deal too for an engagement ring and two wedding bands, also trading in a old ring as part of the package. Couldn't recommend more, thank you.

Fantastic service! We were looking in the window for engagement rings and luckily Jo came out to offer her assistance. She was extremely welcoming and helpful, offering her expertise and welcome opinion. After trying on lots of rings, they offered to tailor the ring to our specific requirements. They went completely above and beyond to create the most beautiful bespoke engagement ring for my fiancé. I cannot think of anywhere else we would want to go to to get our wedding bands.

I first visited Venus Diamond to find an engagement ring where I was so pleased Jo came out to give me a hand as otherwise I wouldn't have gone in! Wow . Amazing experience . I went in looking for some type of anniversary present and spoke to Jo - she noticed a Celtic cross I was wearing and after she inquired about it I realized my fiance always commented about it and she suggested I recreate it in the form of a gift and I thought it was a good idea and when I gave it as a gift my fiance was speechless!! I couldn't thank Joanna enough for the suggestion and implementation of copying it in detail as I had it since I was a child . Amazing customer service and what you want is actually a priority not what they want to sell ! If they can't find it nobody can!

We came to Brighton to choose my fiance's wedding ring and Venus Diamond had a great selection of mens rings. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful especially as my fiance was unsure of what he wanted! They gave great advice as to what suited him and before he finally chose the one he wanted. We recently collected the ring which was perfect :). Definitely worth the trip to Brighton - great experience with the staff.

My fiance and I have recently bought our wedding rings from Venus Diamond and I could not recommend them enough.
We were just browsing - looking around to see what was on offer in the various shops in Brighton. We had only been engaged a few days, so were very excited and just wanting to explore our options with no intention of making a purchase.
I was surprised at the attitude from staff in some other shops nearby. We were made to feel very uncomfortable and as though our lack of experience with wedding rings (and jewellery in general tbh) was a huge burden for them that wasn't worth their time.
We decided not to go into any more shops that day, but just look in at the windows and learn a bit more first in the hope of getting a more helpful response in the future.
While looking through one window, a very smiley face popped up to say hello! She (sorry I can't recall your name!) came out and led us into the shop while listening to our uncertain thoughts on what we might like and might not like, nodding along and encouraging us throughout.
We both ended up trying a variety of different rings but there was never an indication that we were taking up too much of their time or asking stupid questions - it felt very easy, we were all laughing and joking and the entire experience was much more what we had hoped for when choosing wedding rings! We were so happy with the experience as a whole that we decided to go ahead and buy them there and then.
Since then, we have been back to collect the finished rings and the service has been just as friendly.
This will be my first stop for all jewellery needs in the future!

We visited the lanes on a day trip to Brighton and discovered Venus Diamond and Jo.
Jo was very persuasive for us to come inside...wow am I glad she did with Jo's help and advice we found the most amazing very unique eternity ring that was made specially for me, we returned 6 weeks later to collect it and I wasn't disappointed it's stunning I haven't taken it off!
Jo goes upbove and beyond to ensure we was happy with our purchase.

I'd like to say that I'd highly recommended this lovely jewellers. I had lost my necklace that waz of very sentimental value 2 me, so my other half n I went in to this jewellers to see if we cld get a replacement. We got taken in by a lovely lady, n asked what we wer looking 4. I told her and within a few mins we wer putting a pendant 2gether that I waz blown away by. We wer told it had 2 b made up an we cld pick it up in a few wks. When we went back 2 get it, well...... I pretty much had tears in my eyes as it waz all had expected an more. I got my other half 2 put it on rnd my neck and he waz just as dazzled by it as I waz. I'd like to thank you so much for putting the necklace 2gether for me an making it an even more sentimental piece.
