Bought earrings, brought them home, opened the clasp of the earring just to see that’s it’s already faulty. The clasp wouldn’t even close. Me coming back to the shop next day could have been avoided if Victoria who served me cared to check the earrings before putting them into the box.
Also, staff members don’t open the shop on time. Having worked in retail management myself, shop should be open for customers at advertised time of opening, not staff only arriving at 9, sorting themselves out and opening the shop when they are done.

Extremely Rude Manager and service in store and on the phone. Will never be shopping in the store again. Was supposed to buy a diamond ring & earrings but the service made me decide not to. Luckily the service in Goldsmths (just next door) was much better and I ended up buying from them instead. They missed out on a £8,000 sale. I do not recommend.

My daughter had her ears pierced for the second time last week by a lovely, friendly member of staff called Robyn. She was very attentive and reassuring. Due to the earrings my daughter was wearing one of the piercings was slightly wonky. We went back today and Robyn was brilliant re-piercing her ear for her. Brilliant service and Robyn was excellent. Many thanks.

Called the store with the intention of booking a appointment to buy a le vian diamond ring. Was left on hold for 15 minutes (which they did not apologise for) and turning up to th store, no one had a clue they were meant to be seeing me. I was so appauled with the service I decided to leave the store. Never shopping there again.

I came here to purchase a gold watch. I was let in immediately and browsed the watches, I settled on an almost £500 gold watch. I had some questions and wanted to speak to a member of staff...I was ignored for 10 minutes and after then I finally grabbed a member of staff who said she'd be right with me I waited another further 5 minutes and decided my money would be better spent somewhere where the customer comes first.
Reccomend avoiding this branch and the useless staff.

The staff are friendly and helpful. They have a great variety of personal and objects for all occasions. Their variety of clocks is enormous. They also have a selection of ornaments that can be used for birthdays, anniversaries, or any other commemorative occasion.
They try to accommodate the Customers at all times, ensuring that they are satisfied with their purchase.

Poor customer service. Engagement ring broken after 2 years and want to charge to fix it when it shouldn't have broken in the first place. It was expensive enough in the first place. They should fix it as the arms holding the diamond are obviously poor. Terrible experience.

Amazing service. Staff was nice and helpful. They did make a mistake on my online order so if you ever order from online always just double check to see they get everything right otherwise you'll end up messing up a present or surprise or just something you want for yourself. The way customer services handled it was nice as well. They refunded money for the special packaging which was a really nice gesture.

Having screwed the analogue mechanism up on my watch, which worked perfectly before changing a battery the digital back display, which was £43.50 just to change a battery. They then wanted a further £50+ to fix what they broke. Customer service is disgustingly appalling and Samuel's will never get any of my business ever again. My advice never use their service department. I wouldn't trust them with a small packet of Duplo Lego, let alone a delicate watch!

I received a silver bangle with green crystals as a 21st birthday gift. It was originally bought from Eastbourne the day before but unfortunately my mum didn't notice the release button wasn't working. I took it in to the Brighton store (with receipt details) and the lovely ladies in the store were able to help me out there and then!
Was so happy because it's going to be a really sentimental item. And their customer service skills were fantastic! Thank you again ladies. :)

Sadly I have had to deal with an employee of H Samuel called Ashely Pullen, I found him very rude, intimidating and made references towards my family...he even went as far to call me a waste man!! I hope they have better staff elsewhere.

Came in to get a link removed from my partners watch, after about 45 minutes of waiting the guy in the store broke the whole strap.. Apologised and said he will send it off to the manufacturer and get it fixed for free as well as removing the link. He then sent it off as a standard repair without any mention of his mistake, once the watch was returned over 1 month later the link was still there.. he couldn't even take responsibility for his mistake and left us without the watch for a month just to have it back with nothing done! Never going to HS Samuel again!

I ordered a watch, that they cancelled the order without informing Me (discontinued) when I went in store to pick it up... I was very disappointed by the Poor customer service in store, I rang the customer service to complain who were very apologetic but over all bad experience, and decided to get the same watch at another store.

I purchased a watch , within six months the watched exposed a manufacture defect , very poor Brighton staff understanding & service , H Samuel customer service complaint telephone service was also incredibly busy , my email complaint had also timed out , very disappointed indeed .
