Had an emergency appointment as my cat needed urgent care and our vet (also part of the MediVet group) did not have the right treatment immediately available. All of the staff at Zasman Crouch End were lovely and supportive, explained exactly what was being done and were upfront about all costs associated. It was exactly the reassurance I needed.

Highly recommend! We took our baby kitten Lilly to Zasman Vet in crouch end. They were incredibly helpful, honest, informative and kind. Lilly adored the vet and nurses! Thank you for making us all feel comfortable and confident, and for looking after Lilly so brilliantly.

A wonderful vet especially for small exotics. Very thorough and they explained the condition and treatment very clearly. They treated us and our pet mouse with kindness and compassion. We felt that the service we received was of the highest standard. I highly recommend.

Really lovely vet practice. My kitten opened her spay incision and my normal vet wasn't available. Zaasman were wonderful, not only allowing me to bring her in but managing to squeeze me in on a busy Saturday evening. They took great care of my kitty and were friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them and will be going back again!

I have used Zasman for a year now and have nothing but high praise for the staff. They have always been great when dealing with my West Highland Terrier. They are always pleasant and friendly. They kept me updated with procedure and answered any concerns.

I bought them my pet ostrich Frank to be put down as he had cancer. The staff were most unprofessional in their handling of the situation and seemed to find great humour in the misfortune of my situation. Would not reccomend.

They had appointments available when our greyhound hurt himself and they turned out to be really attentive. Didn't try to upsell anything and called us on their own initiative to check how he was doing. Great impression from both the vet and the reception staff

I am an not entirely sure why my previous feedback has diappeared, therefore i am writing a new one.
A while ago i have gone to this vet with my rats. I received a very poor service and did let them know what i will not return. I received thr medicines i asked for and paid for them. Days later i received a call from the vet asking for more money claiming i have not paid everything. However i have. I let the vet know. Once again how unhappy i was with the service and that i will not visit the surgery again. The vet then started calling other vets, including my new vet(stalked my google reviews profile) to complain about me. I am shocked about the lack of professionalism.
Not just the bad customer service but also the lack of knowledge in actual vet care.

After speaking to the receptionist at Zasman Vet, we were assured that its Crouch End branch treats cockatiels and that we should bring in our beloved bird Noodles.
It was communicated that the assigned vet wasn't an exotic bird expect but confident with birds. We were told that our visit would be complemented by another member of the veterinary team - who has a particular interest in exotics birds - looking in to offer a second opinion.
When we brought Noodles in, it was instantly acknowledged that she was very sick. Yet despite this, the vet refused to prescribe antibiotics. In addition to the fees we paid Zasman Vet, the vet insisted that we pay an additional fee of around £200 to take our pet to the RVC Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital in Camden. However, we couldn't get an appointment for days.
Between seeing Zasman Vet and waiting for an appointment at the RVC Beaumont Sainsbury Animal Hospital, our cockatiel sadly died. This was obviously extremely distressing and probably could have been avoided if Noodles was prescribed urgent treatment when we arrived.
As such, we do not recommend using this vet - particularly if you have an exotic bird.

We took our beagle cross in to Zasman as he was suffering from horrible stomach problems and the vet was very helpful.
Spent a good amount of time examining our boy and gave us some great suggestions including new food to buy, which I am happy to report have worked wonders.

Very sales orientated it seems their mission is to make as much money out of you and they seem very uninterested in your animal..if you are on the lower end of finances they really do not want to bother with you, some ,not all reception staff curt and rude , not all procedures explained fully and seems to encourage putting down the animal. I would say its not all about the money but the pet and we are in a pandemic..maybe be more patient,sympathetic and understanding to your customers.

We took our puppy to get spayed and were quoted £150 on the Monday afternoon. When we arrived on the Tuesday morning we were told it was it was £200, admitting that £150 was an old price. They cited clerical error and were not willing to uphold the quote from 16hrs earlier. An official quote was sent to an incorrect email address. Mr Zasman called today apologising for the quote error and offered a company credit of £25.

After finding my cat lifeless at 8am. I managed to get an appointment here. They kept her all day, ran lots of tests like blood and urine. We got her back at 5pm. The charges were almost 700.00 which I don't begrudge but they made no diagnosis, had no clue what was wrong and sent her home to us. She was no better at all so by 9pm I called the emergency line and went to Medivet Hendon. within 20mins they knew she'd been attacked by another cat! I called the Practise the next day to discuss this and the gentelman vet was very arrogant and unapologetic. I would avoid coming here ever again.

I have been very disappointed with my experiences at Zasman Vet in Crouch End both from quality of service and intentionally disguised fees.
The vet did not discuss or receive authorisation for certain treatments. I agreed to drops in her ears for a yeast infection. He took my dog and gave her the drops. He then proceeded to inject her with an antibiotic and steroid without asking my permission. When he brought the dog back he told me what he had done afterwards. Due to Covid I waited outside on the street. When I went to pay I was then told the cost would be £180. I was not provided with a breakdown or invoice, however, the antibiotic and steroid injections cost about £90. The vet, without discussion or authorisation unilaterally decided he had the right to provide a dog with a yeast infection an antibiotic and steroids at an additional fee of £90. When questioned he stated he was not required to discuss the treatment of my dog with me and he had the right to perform these extra treatments at significant extra cost without authorisation or discussion. This then begs the question.... he is treating a yeast infection with antibiotics and steroids and asserts he is not required to discuss or get authorisation from the owner???
The vet made himself clear when questioned, pay for his services or find another vet. No apologies, no explanation, no justification.
While continuing to present itself as a family run practice, Zasman Vet is actually part of a 300 branch conglomerate with 18 call centres where revenue is of greater importance than the welfare of your pet.
This is not the first poor experience I have had with Zasman, but certainly is now my last.

Such a kind and caring vets. We took our rabbit here after some bad advice from a different vet and they were so much more helpful about the options available to us (rabbits are notoriously difficult in terms of health problems and medication) and really good with her. This vet is also recommended by the House Rabbit Association. Sadly our bunny went downhill very quickly and we had to take her here to be put down, they were so very kind and made it as easy as they could. The vet who saw us had a gentle manner and was very sympathetic. She didn't rush us out afterwards, we were naturally very upset and it was a while before we were ready to say goodbye and leave and she gave us all the time we needed, then talked us through the options for cremation/burial etc. when we were ready. Today I received a card from them with a personal message offering their condolences with a picture of a lovely rabbit on the front like ours. It was so thoughtful of them (and made me cry again) I wouldn't have a second doubt about taking our next pet here when we're ready to make that step. Thanks so much to everyone at Zasman Vets for easing ours and our bunny's pain ♥️????

Always first class. I have been taking my dog here for several years and the care given is superb. My dog literally tries to drag me in every time we pass. Advice is always clear and all options are explained. Would never consider anywhere else. Claire and the team are fantastic.

With our first puppy we went with some knowledge of what was to be done for vacations and treatments but the whole procedure was rushed through and not explained at all before we knew it the injections were done and not explained, as a first ever dog owner we thought this must be how it works so went back for 2nd injections but was greeted by a very abrupt rude receptionist as I was patiently waiting talking to a little girl about my puppy the receptionist didn't even say hello just spoke up over me with a simple ( put the dog on the scales then ? ) I looked up she was staring at the scales ? So strange as no one said hello ? The vet lady then asked me to come in seemed happy enough and gave the vaccine promptly as a first time dog owner I just mentioned that the puppys habits and gives a little scratch to his ears and gives a good ole I'm enjoying this little noise once in a while .. I said I have looked in his ears seems to be fine so the vet lady said do you want me to look .. I said yes please thanks she said the ears look not red at all nothing wrong and said a tad dirty but at 12 weeks they all look like that , then said I would have to put drops in his ears producing a big bottle of drops then explained in a few days you have to put on flea protection and they come in 3 packs ? I stalled for a second and thought I think I know what's happening here so I said no can I just have one for now thanks , anyway before I knew it I was paying 41 pounds with no explanation of anything at all along the way . I was not told the weight or what was to happen next at all just rushed in and out with a payment asked , not sure I will be using zasman again as quite a few of new dog friends from the area are telling similar stories.

Everyone at Zasman's are lovely & caring,not just to the beloved pets,but also to the pet parents.I have been taking my dog dear Ozzy to Zasman's for the last 7 or 8 years and they recently helped me when I took Ozzy,for his final visit.A friend,who came with us,to give me support,was very impressed with the care and time we were given.About a week later I received a lovely condolence card which was very touching and meant a great deal to me.It is unfair to pick out any one person from the staff as they have all been so kind but Beccy,Ella.Katie & Liga all deserve a special mention.Thankyou.

Refused treatment because expected money upfront (large amount) and its was an emergency. Asked to go ahead insurance will cover but yet still refused. When I made a complaint, there response was:
“We cannot carry any more debt. The bank won't allow us to. We have loans and owe them money.”...
What has that got to do with me? I am their customer and should be treated as such and not their gold donkey.
Won’t be going there again if they are only interested in money instead saving a life even if it’s “just a dog”!
Vets should take animals in distress priority rather the money issues.

Can always get an appointment, Jäger loves going there he'll run around looking for his new best friends (the staff) it's got to the stage where I'm scared to go to priory pk as he always wants to visit and he won't leave until he's seen all of his friends, the staff understand that I'm disabled and can't hold him while he's being examined,someone is always at hand to help us, gp's could learn alot from the staff here, thankfully kim has now taken over at reception and misery has gone
