Couldn’t actually get to making an appointment for my puppy’s 10 week vaccinations as the male receptionist was so very snappy & uninformed, yet claimed to be an expert.
Apparently they can get hold of any vaccination for the costly sum of £75. I find that hard to believe as every other Village Vet only stock Vanguard.
If you’re looking for a friendly veterinary practice, look elsewhere. I think the receptionist would be much better suited to a NHS GP practice.

Nico (dog) and I love Tessa and Kelly. They are gentle and caring, and I very much trust their perspective on care. The front desk staff are very accommodating and no fuss. I love the general neighborhood vibe I feel at the practice. Super happy with my experiences at Village Vet Primrose Hill.

By far the best vet practice I've came across. I have a neurotic chihuahua who is deeply afraid of the vets due to horrible experiences with other vets, and Tessa is overwhelmingly understanding and gentle. She took time to get to know my dog and recommends treatments based on what is best for her, keeping in mind her anxieties about being at the vets. I can't appreciate that enough.

My seven month old cocker spaniel LOVES visiting Tessa and the team for his puppy checks. He insists on popping in to visit whenever we're in Primrose Hill. The staff are all friendly, and very well informed on the latest approaches and treatments. I am confident that all the advice that Tessa and her colleagues have given me has been based on what's best for my dog.

I moved to London from the states about 6 months ago with my senior border collie. I feel so incredibly lucky to have found the Primrose Hill Village Vet practice. Tessa and Veronika always take the best care of my dear pup. They are as concerned as I am about her quality of life and are very patient, kind and knowledgable dealing with us both. They are the best!

Wonderful, caring vets!!! The vets have always explained what medication, procedure, test or exam is needed. The cost has also always been explained beforehand. I find the service exceptional and the vets thoughtful, kind and caring. I'm always able to get an appointment and twice I've needed emergency advice over the phone. They were very accommodating. We really appreciate such great and helpful service especially when it comes to our precious Labrador.

Lovely helpful receptionist (both times) he gave me advice in a genuinely kind way . I left feeling reassured about my cat. At this moment I cant afford a private vet but when or if I can I would 100% go there!

Village Vet Primrose Hill provides such thoughtful, caring and kind care for our pups. Our main vet, Kelly, is so attentive and follows-up on all the things needed to make sure our pups remain healthy and well-cared for. And, since they are connected to a network of care, referrals out to specialists are easy and medical records easily shared. Highly recommend.

I've been bringing my elderly dog here for over four years and he has always received great care. Kelly is his favourite vet he's ever had (we've moved quite a bit). As a pet owner I find the practice good value, flexible, responsive and communicative.

We've had a really great experience time and time again since we started taking our dog here. This vet discovered tumors in our dogs breasts which needed removing. Previous vets we had taken her as recently as 3 months prior to the discovery visit had not found anything. Since then we've continued to bring our old girl to this vet and things have gone well. Relatively easy to get an appointment as well as get a call back if we have a question about something. Even though we have moved out of the area we will continue to bring our dog to this vet as long as we remain in London.

As anxious first time dog owners we are relieved and delighted to have Kelly and the team down the road.
We are frequent visitors to the practise and have been extremely satisfied with the service we have received for our 18 month old labradoodle.
Tests are done quickly and follow up is always reliable. This practice takes a geniuine interest in the welfare of its patients.

I'm afraid reception at Primrose Hill was quite unfriendly the second time I came after paying and backed up by the vet. The atmosphere is decidedly snooty to say the least.They did a good job on my cat but not very nice to me the owner when I came late after struggling with the cat box.

I can't say enough good things about Kelly and the team here. My dog is a regular visitor (not in bad health, just a rather accident-prone/greedy beagle!) and he is always so well taken care of. He's pretty opinionated about his care yet loves coming here; I'm a real worrier when it comes to my dog yet always leave feeling reassured. As someone who usually comes in on a last-minute emergency basis I've also found it easy to get an appointment, and Kelly is amazing at calling back when I have questions. Their links with the 24hour emergency vet in Belsize Park has also been fab for the times we've had to go there in the middle of the night then follow up with Kelly in the weeks after... all in all I couldn't ask for more.

Dont use seriously had to have my cat put to sleep due to their negligence and cost me over £5000 for the privilage. Also had to pay for my cats euthanasia. Appauling. Avoid.
