Victoria and the team are so caring. They really go the extra mile to both explain treatments and options and care for my animals. I know they are busy but they always ring back promptly if I need to talk to them and Victoria in particular really understands how much we care for our animals and she cares too. I also get the impression that she is very good in terms of understanding the latest treatments and procedures and communicating clearly but empathetically what to expect from them.

Amazing, caring vet
I never normally write Google reviews but on this occasion I simply have to share the amazing experience my cat Barry had at this practice yesterday. From being able to accommodate us at short notice through the extremely professional reception and nursing staff to the wonderful vet Victoria, everyone was most helpful, supportive and understanding of a cat that had been refusing to eat and his crying owner, i.e. me. Victoria has excellent listening skills and it was apparent that she was really trying to understand everything that had happened to the cat and took all my concerns very seriously. Her advice worked like magic and, within just a few hours, my cat was back to his former playful and hungry self. I am grateful beyond words and would not take Barry anywhere else now. Thank you so much for helping us and for restoring Barry's health!
Really big thanks also to the wonderful lady who answered my call at MediVet Stamford Hill on Tuesday morning and advised me that, even though they were fully booked, there were appointments available at the Hornsey branch - your help and support is very much appreciated!

This latest appointment was via Zoom due to the current situation, and although more challenging in someways, it was less so in others (my cat does not travel well or appreciate being handled). The consultation was thorough, collaborative and course of treatment (and possible subsequent treatments) explained clearly and kindly. Medication was then delivered to me the following day (I could have gone to collect it that day), and my cat started to respond positively to the treatment on day two and is now feeling much better. Thank you.

I always feel in safe hands at Hornsey Vets, Victoria is amazing.
It’s great that you can see the same vet and build up a great understanding of one and another and they become familiar to the pet.
Seeing the same faces is very important when I have to visit the vets. This is what makes them special as it’s not found in other practices .

Have been going to them for years now and am very happy. Gave excellent advice on looking after a kitten when I asked at her first check up, which was super thorough and has been invaluable.

The receptionists are friendly. The vet I saw was very caring, chatty and friendly, she gave me good advice and put me at ease. My cat was very relaxed. It's easy to get an appointment and I got an appointment that I could attend after I'd finished work.

Victoria Gijon the Vet was a great adviser as I popped in to buy a safety muzzle to prevent my yorkie biting other female dogs. She has been such an embarrasment and is know the neighbourhood park????????By luck I mentioned I was travelling and Victoria was prompt to advise me as I was rushing to get ready to leave to prepare for my flight next day to Brazil with Lola. I presumed I did not need anything else as she already had her passport and vaccinations up to date. I WAS SO WRONG! After confirming everything I managed to postpone flight and get this done. If it was not for Victoria, I would have been in a lot of trouble with my lola when arriving in Brazil. Came back next day to proceed with paperwork and they managed to fit me in their busy schedule. Great Job! Thank you. ????
