Our experience with food was not good. Food was cold, waited a while for it. Had pudding and waited over half an hour! The table next to us orderd food..they waited over half an hour..no food! They walked out. Disgusting servise. The barmsn however was excellent! Way too decent for this place and the bar was filling up quickly and he handled that and customer complaints so well and politely. Shame on the owners!

I grew up going to this bar in my teenage years so had a fondness to its old worn around the edges state yet massive atmosphere for sporting events.
I can't say that I go here frequently now however the place has been done out nice in its refurbishment. They seem to have good offers on food and the beer garden is a nice size.
The evening that we went though my major complaint was that the whole place smelt like vomit yet the toilets smelt fine. Maybe someone had been ill inside the premises? A few patrons mentioned it yet no one seemed to resolve the problem. We enjoyed being outside in the garden however I don't think I would have been able to stomach sitting inside.
Seems like a place popular with 16-25 year olds as another occasion we went to venture in recently it was very loud and busy in there and not possible to hold a conversation and so we left.
I would perhaps return in the day to sample their food so long as the vomit smell has been eradicated!

A good town centre pub serving a good variety of beers, wines and spirits. The staff are all professional and friendly. The seating is very comfortable and the surroundings strike the right balance between being having enough going on to be interesting without everything being so loud you cant hear yourself think. A lso, although I havent esten there in a while the food being served looks very appetising and value for money. WEell worth a visit

A relatively quiet pub for the centre of Loughborough and the selection is reasonable, although sometimes the food goes cold a bit too quickly after it's served but this may have something to do with the drafts from the two entrances.
