Great atmosphere, friendly bar staff, this was the first time I have been to this establishment and was really impressed. The beer prices are really cheap and the food was very nice. I will visit again without a doubt in the very near future.

Met here for a mate's leaving drink. Not my idea of a nice pub, but then I'm nearly 50. A townie pub. I wouldn't choose to drink here. But if you like townie pubs, fill your boots.

Only issue with this real ales well stocked comfy pub only problem is I like to have a drink in town a coffee or half about 5 o'clock once a week every visit right in the middle sit construction workers speaking derogatory about young woman using the pub and in general every sentence contains the f word c word and b word it's very intimidating. I know they want to kick back after a hard day it's put me off thou and others have told me they feel the same x shame as everything else and the staff are fab

Fairly average pub. Good size with a decent atmosphere at peak times, popular with students. Good drink selection but the quality of the ales can be hit and miss.
Excellent pub for watching the football, there's a large projector screen and a few other TVs in the quieter area if you just wanna keep your eye on the sport.
Pool table is fairly well kept.

I used to go to the Griffin many years ago when I was a student when the pub had a lounge and a bar. I used to play for the darts team in the bar. To see it now is very different and I suppose for some it is progress but I am not into trendy pubs. Pubs in general are becoming much more traditional in the fact that there are so many craft beers and micro brewery's springing up and the trendy pubs have seen their day!

Food looks good but doesnt live up to the price you pay. The wait was too long and the food was severely below average. I also found a hair in my food and nothing was done about it. Very disappointing, would not recommend.

Fairly priced pub with a large selection of drinks available. They also serve good food at a reasonable price. There's free WiFi too as well as a selection of board and bar games. They also show sky sports on several screens so there's something for everyone.

I had a beer or 5 for a world cup game. It was quite full and the vibe was quite relaxed. It's a standard bar with standard stock. Nothing bad to say about it. Keep in mind that it is in a town that relies heavily on the university students. So I can imagine it can get a bit rowdy during term time.

Awesome staff and great beer, you can tell when a pub takes care of their beer in the way it tastes. Defiantly a pub to visit again lovely decorated garden not seen a pub in Loughborough like it, i would recommend to everyone no matter what you were visiting for..

My son and myself went to the Griffin for the first and last time today. I ordered a toasted cheese and red onion sandwich, yes the bread was toasted but the cheese was just not, it was horrible and dry. I ordered sweet potato fries which were fried in what tasted like old oil . Won’t be bothering again save me Whetherspoons a tasty toasted cheese and ham ciabatta chips or salad with a drink at half the price.

This pub is large, friendly and cosy. It offers a good choice of ales and is very good for watching sports. Well worth a visit.

Ordered mojito 2 for £9 it came out of a carton was rancid. No Ice or slice or mint. Just slightly cold piss. Didn't bother staying!

This is one of the best pubs in Loughborough. Really nice to just chill out in. Live sports, pools, darts, board games available. Sofas to relax on, and nice food available. Definitely recommend.

The Griffin is an ideal pub It is situated in a good area not to far from the town centre, the atmosphere is ideal if you want to talk or order a meal, the menu has a good choice and the prices are competitive, could not tell you about the evening as we only visit in the afternoon. It has a nice seating arrangement outside which we enjoyed in the summer.
