Although the food is good and the place is nice, we had to wait a long time to get our plates, but the waitress made a mistake on one of our plates. We waited again.
And then we waited again and again for the dessert menu that never came.
I must say I was really surprised by all those basic errors.

Simply wonderful! The food is delicious and the portions are just the right size! The manager Gianfranco is the kindest restaurant manager and his attention to detail made us feel really taken care of. Happy to recommend this bright restaurant to anyone for any occasion.

The staff here could not have been more accommodating and helpful in making suggestions from their amazing menu and fitting 6 of us in on a busy Saturday evening.
It was our first visit here and following this experience and the fabulous food, we will definitely be back! Looking forward to it!

The food was very disappointing and uninspired . Everyone seems to be in a big hurry. The food was thrown on the tabel and they give you the feeling that you have to finish fast because there are other people waiting for your table. We asked the waiter if it would be possible to order some appetizers first and then later on order the main course. This wasn't possible and we had to order everything in one time. Within half an hour we had finished dinner. We decided to get dessert somewhere else.

The concierge at Corinthium Hotel suggested this restaurant to us! Turned out to be one of the best Italian based food we have been to. Elegant decor, calm atmosphere, good for couples, small groups and large. Can get busy so suggest booking table in advance.

Nice restaurant. Very good service. Food was good, but nothing super special. Maybe a little pricey for what is was. I'd definitely go back, but it wouldn't be the first place that comes to mind if I was thinking of a venue for a large group outing. Maybe for supper. Anyway, good but not exceptional.

Lovely venue, nice design. Italian Tapas style concept restaurant. Food was good but way to quick between serving each plate. Went for a special occasion and we were finished within an hour. Felt like we were being rushed out.

We sat and had drinks at the bar pre-matinee. It was quite a nice vantage point to people watch, and quite lively. Not the cheapest place for a drink, but quite stylish.

We ate dinner here while on vacation. It was so good that I craved it the rest of our trip. They serve small plates, tapas, so be prepared to share the delicious dishes with your dinner companion. The restaurant is charming and very nicely decorated. We had the lamb cutlets, the risotto special, and the chicken wrapped in pancetta. We also had dessert specials. Such great food makes you and your belly happy. I love that they have seasonal dishes with seasonal ingredients from Italy. Our waiter was attentive and gave his recommendations.

£50 per head for averge plates of 'Italian style' tapas (cicchetti) which often relies on shavings of truffle to elevate them. Felt like it was going to be the fastest meal we'd ever eaten. There is no order to how the food comes out, it just arrives when the kitchen have prepared it, so main course items arrived on the table at the same time as pre-dinner drinks. The round tables are too small to cope with the amount of plates that will descend on them if there are four of you. When the principle of this restaurant is that it is sharing food, didn't seem to make sense that dishes came in threes - 3 prawns, 3 croquettes etc. Decor is very nice.

I don't normally like Italian restaurants but this one was very good as it offers tapas style menu with wide selection of meats and seafood so no typical pizza pasta stodgy grub. And the place itself is beautiful with wonderful service. Pricy but worth it

We have just got home from visiting the restaurant today. I am not sure why the food was cold.
We could not make it more obvious that we wanted the plates cleared from our starters. We built a plate tower and waved at waiters chatting amongst themselves. Once the main course arrived, our plates from starters were still on our table - the waiter put the food on the table cleared the starters, then left us with no cutlery. The final nail in the coffin was adding £8 onto the bill for an optional service charge.
The food was layered with a dry skin Carbonara, it really was not nice. We visited about 2:45 in the week, there were few tables in at the time. Certainly will not recommend.

I asked for a special table for a special occasion, which was mentioned as soon as we arrived, so it was nice to know that they acknowledged our request, only to be given a very uncomfortable table in the last corner of the restaurant; so small that there was no space for that ‘tapas like’ style of the restaurant that the waiter explained when we sat down: ‘dishes come to the table when they are ready in no particular order’ (I ask myself then why to offer ‘starters’ in the menu if they might come at dessert time! Easy way to get by without timing: it’s not nice to have one person at the table eating while others watch! The service was not good. I won’t go there again with all the good places the west end has on offer…
Lastly... the 'pulpo a la gallega' (Octopus with new potatoes and paprika) for £10 was tiny!! what a disappointment!

Disappointing on most measures. Unfocussed staff. Lackadaisical service. Food was described as Italian tapas, but was mostly small serves of staples. Not chicetti, despite claims to the contrary. Served at best warm. Overpriced wine. Noisy and crowded.

Went here after we didn't get into our first choice but really glad we found it. Italian style tapas place with a good pleasant modern vibe and great service. Gobble up the tapas as it arrives or it will go cold!

Average. Went for lunch. Place was less than Half full. The waiter forgot to put in the order for one dish (the main one). service was generally rude. Food was underwhelming. Prices are reasonable but portion sizes are really small. Wouldnt bother going back.

Cannot read the menu type so small, it seems more like a tapas bar with everyone drinking more than eating. Would not go there again spent £250.00 for 4 persons

Having loved the food and ambience at Fumo Manchester, we were keen to try the new London branch. We arrived just before our 18.30 booking and were asked to wait outside for 10 minutes. After a significantly longer time we went back inside and asked if there was any progress with our table. We were amazed to be told to go outside again and wait for another 10 minutes. This seemed so annoyingly unprofessional that our party left. We're surprised that the restaurant seemed unable to manage its bookings properly.

It's Italian tapas essentially so bare in mind the prices on the menu are for small portions and you'll need 2-3 each depending on how hungry you are. The dishes however were quite filling, and absolutely lovely. They were good stand alone dishes yet still complimented each other.
This is also very much a sharing kind of restaurant, so whilst you could theoretically order a few dishes each individually, they come at different times so you may find yourself watching others eating longingly if you aren't willing to share.
Service was superb! The staff were absolutely wonderful, and I cannot speak highly enough of them. Very grateful for their contribution to our experience.
Finally, we managed to walk in and get a table at 9pm on a Saturday however it was very busy and I expect you'll need to ordinarily book.
