We had an amazing Vegan afternoon tea experience at Palm Court. They have put a lot of effort to come up with a menu, which is as good (if not much better) as a non-Vegan menu. Very polite and attentive staff. They even brought us a cake for our celebration. Thank you Langham!!!

We came here for a Birthday, on a Sunday and it was stunning! The setting is one not to forget. When arriving, greeted and taken to the table. Our coats were taken away and stored for us, explained how the menu was laid out, and what was within our offer. The food was at first seemed quite particularly small, but it does fill you up. The flavours cooked in a way we haven't quite experienced before, see some of the dishes with photos we took. We noticed there was an array of people, which was lovely. Couples, families, mixed, it was lovely to see and created a very calm vibe throughout. The only one thing they didn't do is have the Pianist playing on that day, as there is a stunning grand piano sitting at the back, in the middle and don't think they do this on a Sunday, which was the only disappointment. Overall, ideal for a special occasion and the prices are higher but expected for the location. Overall we give it a strong A***** because this was a real treat and not often we get to go to these types of places, grateful and beautiful setting. LDT x

Very nice afternoon tea. This was our first and only afternoon tea on our visit to London but I definitely recommend it! Sandwiches and pastries were great. I really liked the plain scone, the flavored one was not for me but still good according to my husband. We showed up late for our reservation after heading to the wrong place (our fault) and the staff was very nice, understanding, and helpful. Compared to many teas around the city this seemed to be cute, classy, affordable, and boozy. Tea and unlimited bubbly was around 49 euro per person (for 90 minutes). My husband and I had a blast. Check this place out!

We had the special Christmas menu (went on NY day) - the savoury sandwiches were good, our favourite was the turkey. The scones were nice too, but the cream was a lot more fatty than I am use to. The cakes were average though, they all sound very fancy but did not taste that good. Beautiful environment with live pianist. Very expensive.

The atmosphere in the restaurant invites you to spend some moments of calm and relaxation. Above all it adds to the ambience that the food is mixed with instrumental music played just a few steps from the table. From the moment that we arrived, the staff were attentive and always ready to help, including with taking photos. I recommend the Palm Court at The Langham, for its delicious food and first-class atmosphere. I would also like to try their famous Afternoon Tea that has special touches for Christmas in association with the nearby Liberty department store. If you have the opportunity to go, do not hesitate, because I am clear I will be going back to try more delicacies.

The setting and service were simply spectacular! The Christmas decorations are lovely and the willingness of staff to assist with pictures and coats and especially our server it was flawless! Food and cost would be the only (maybe) downside. I believe the cost was reasonable but the sandwiches at high tea were pretty basic

Best afternoon tea in London! The attention to detail is fit for royalty and the pastries/cake options were all incredibly tasty and different! Often at an afternoon tea I skip the pastries/cakes as they are average compared to my favourite... the scones !... but at the Langham I ate all of them! Everything was tasty and they made our visit super special by wishing us a happy anniversary ????

35gbp 3 course deal was value of money which include a choice of procesco or cocktails. Cocktail alone was worth around 16 quid and it was a very fine cocktail too. Food is also good for its price and presentation. Would recommend!

This is easily my favourite place to have afternoon tea in London. The sandwiches are creative and delicious, the pastries taste as wonderful as they look and the scones are to die for. The service is perfect, helpful and lovely, without being over bearing. It's an expensive treat, but worth it.

A very relaxing restaurant in beautiful surroundings. There is often live music in the background, which gives atmosphere without being so loud you can't hear each other speak. The afternoon tea was particularly good and the staff are very attentive. Overall a great place to spend a couple of hours.

Went for afternoon tea and my son had the Children's Afternoon Tea with Hamley. The adults' food was very nice, but I snuck a bite of my son's sandwiches and they were not as delicious. The service and the rest of the meal was very good.

I stayed at the Langham last week and it was the best hotel experience of my life. From the welcome we got when we arrived, to the exceptional room quality and design...The whole experience was sublime perfection. I also wanted to take a moment to talk about the wait staff and food at the Palm Court. They attended to your every need with such genuine appreciation...it was extraordinary. I will certainly try to stay at a Langham property when I’m traveling in the future, and if I ever return to London I wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else. Thank you for a beyond excellent experience!

We had an amazing afternoon tea here. Can’t fault a single thing - the food was exquisite, the service flawless and the ambiance - decor, music and lighting - was perfect. My boys had the children’s afternoon tea which they loved. It was so imaginative and fun as well as delicious. Definitely a 5 star plus experience!

We made an afternoon tea reservation at The Langham’s Palm Court. It was to be a treat for friends from America who have never had afternoon tea. I thought the excellent reputation and rating would guarantee a nice experience and warranted the higher cost. I reserved a two-hour time slot by phone for six adults and two toddlers. The reservationist was pleasant and helpful, assuring me they were well-quipped to accommodate toddlers. She even anticipatively said they would have room to store prams. She made reserving exceedingly easy. A day before the reservation we had to change to four adults. Making changes over the phone was seamless. We arrived at the hotel a few minutes early. The hostesses were warm and polite as they welcomed us, took our coats, and lead us to our table. Our friends arrived within minutes. Palm Court has a very high ceiling and is impressively decorated though tables were a bit tight. The room was much louder than expected even as the tables were not all occupied.

We were given two menus. When our first friend arrived he was given a menu. When our second friend arrived she was not given a menu. We were asked for our drink choices, and we ordered still water to start. It took 15 minutes for the water to arrive. Then it took more time before the server took our order. We all ordered the afternoon tea and the Langham blend tea. We weren’t served tea until after our first round of sandwiches. Our table was not cleared in a timely manner between courses and tea changes this was particularly problematic as the table was very small for four settings. The servers are very polite yet inattentive. They would service our table and promptly walk away before we could ask a question or make a request. We expected the meal to proceed at a slower pace, but it was less leisurely and more lackadaisical. After our guests left, we voiced our feedback. The staff graciously listened and apologized. The assistant manager gave us his contact information. We were also given two tins of tea. The Good • Polite staff • Elegant decor; They'll give you a stand for purses and bags, though we weren't offered any. • Good food; well presented; ample refills • Child friendly; They have high chairs and children's menu options. • Open to feedback The Bad • Tightly packed tables; Staff and other patrons will bump into your chair often and regularly. • Surprisingly noisy The Ugly • Slow, inattentive service In Short • Chic place to have a tasty afternoon tea, that is…if you can get served in a timely manner. At this price point you would expect superior service, but you won't get it here.

We had a wonderful evening at the Palm Court restaurant. The ambiance was relaxed and inviting. The live music was varied and good all round. The evening was made particularly enjoyable by our waiter Alex who looked after us incredibly well and it was particularly refreshing to have a waiter who was on form with his service as well as being sociable. The Vegan option being a burger was not particularly inspiring. However, this was recommended by our waiter Alex and turned out to be an excellent choice. I can highly recommend the Palm Court and we will be returning.

Amazing afternoon tea service here for my mother's birthday. The waiters are wonderful and the setting is very nice (though I could do with less of the yellow light and more natural lighting..really messes with the photos). They have a larger variety of sandwiches than most tea places (about 6-7 different sandwiches - unlimited refills!) and a vast array of teas including some houseblends which are also unlimited so you can try as many as you would like. Their scones and petit fours (small desserts) are delicious and if you can't finish any of them, they'll let you bag it up. There's a 2 hour time limit but they're really nice and will move you to the bar area if you want to continue eating.

If you are not already in love with London, then this place just might do the trick! We had a magical afternoon tea with everything you could have dreamed of, combined with the most delicious cocktails (yes! their bar delivered to our tea party ????). My husband who is a cocktail lover was so impressed we almost went through the whole menu. We had to leave some out, so we have an excuse to revisit London (of course we brought a copy of the menu home). And our two little ones where so well looked after as well. The big one had a kids menu and got the cutest little teddy bear. Oh and the best part! I had the vegan menu and for the first time since I quit dairy I did not feel I was missing out. The chefs interpretation of a vegan high tea was simply delicious (best I have ever had - even to non-vegan desserts!!). I highly recommend you treat yourself to a visit to this beautiful place. You will find yourself well looked after by their most friendly staff.

Beautiful lounge area. Service was excellent from the moment we drove up to the front door. I can't remember the name of our waiter (Marco, Marcus something beginning with M. ) which I annoying because he was amazing and really deserves the praise for being part of an amazing afternoon. He helped us choose tea , describing them and making recommendations. We had sandwiches and then more were brought round if we wanted more. Followed by little sweet cream cakes. Then is was scones and cream. They were so lights and crumbly. Absolutely delicious. More were offered but we were so full up . After this there was another delicious little cake for us to share, this was put in a lovely little box for us to take home. It was my husbands birthday treat and of waiter arranged for an amazing l cake to come out and we sang happy birthday to him. It looked like a velvet rose . It was incredible and tasted wonderful. I took the candle out before I had taken a photo so popped it back in . so it did look perfect originally. It was a fantastic experience and I would definitely visit again

Not bad afternoon tea, and the scones are quite good. Excellent piano player, and lovely ambience. The kids experience is 10/10. Why two stars you ask? We were sat upwind from diners who ordered a lobster bisque and then other incredibly smelly food. Eating scones while whiffing lobster soup and what smelled like blue cheese sauce was quite unpleasant. Would never come back here again. F&M, Claridge’s, and the Ritz are all better and don’t seem to cross-contaminate smell.

We had a fabulous experience at the palm court. Fantastic high quality food, good vegetarian/vegan choice, ambience was spot on, beautiful live piano music and attentive staff. Following a complaint regarding afternoon tea a few months back we were given a complimentary diner at the palm court. We were very impressed with the service! We received a free 3 course meal including sides and drinks. Very impressed with the customer service! I wish more complaints were dealt with such good standard! I will definitely be back for dinner at the palm court!

The Palm Court is a quiet and reserved affair, with live piano serving as a relaxing backdrop for some innovative and well-presented menu options. Overall our lunch visit was an excellent dining experience, only slightly soured by one member of staff who took exception to us daring to talk at a normal volume rather than in whispers.

I decided that 2018 should be the year of afternoon teas, and this particular one came recommended by a friend. The recommendation was well-founded: it was really lovely. The food and drink was all truly delicious: the sweets were delicate and light, the scones were warm, and the finger sandwiches were all very tasty. Their tea menu was varied and extensive, and I chose a blend of tea that is unique to the Palm Court: a pink, or rose-coloured, tea that was so delightful that I am still thinking about it, wishing I had purchased some to take home. The service was top-notch and superb. Of the afternoon teas I've attended thus far, this is the only one I've seen that makes a genuine attempt to cater to children. I admit I was almost jealous of the whimsical menu that was that of the children's menu, not to mention the adorable stuffed bear that they received as well. The live music was fantastic: the pianist played beautifully and it was a joy to hear him. Overall, it made for a really lovely afternoon, and I would happily recommend this experience.
