My experience with Habitat was one of the worst and most stressful in my life. Ordered 2 sofas in the sale in June and by mid September they had still not arrived. In between there were over 40 exchanges of emails, all giving, and then cancelling, different arrival dates. There is no internal communication between sales, manufacture, service and delivery, and you never talk to the same person. They simply don't care. In the end after endless complaints I got my money back but then had to start again looking for a new sofa having wasted 3 months of my time. I will NEVER EVER buy or recommend Habitat again. It has completely lost its way.

The most terrible and unhelpful customer service, kept stalling us for over a year until eventually we were asked to call the warehouse directly where they told us they cannot help because the particular product is not in production any longer. We wasted a lot of time and are very unhappy with this, would not recommend.

Lovely homeware and furniture, sadly ruined by appalling delivery system and lacking customer service. I ordered a bed on January 28th and am only due to receive it March 17th, because of Habitat's own warehouse mix-up. I tried to rebook it for ASAP, and the next available date was 2 weeks away (!). Same goes for ordering small accessories. Ordered several items, waited 6 days, hadn't heard back about delivery -- gave them a call and they said there must've been some 'shipment issue' and that I will receive my items in '3 days, so sorry'. You can't expect customers to pay for delivery and then wait 3x longer than promised for the items to arrive. Both experiences have unfortunately been frustrating enough for me to never want to order form them again.

USELESS CUSTOMER SERVICE don't plan on returning anything!
got a couch from them, changed my mind shortly after. Called to cancel the order and to get a refund. Order was cancelled, but refund took THREE weeks! and I'm still waiting. Between lost receipts, missing personnel, two weeks into the process, after many calls and visits, I finally managed to speak to the manager and he said, 'I just did it personally, you'll see the refund within 2-3 days. 4 days later, still nothing, so I walked in and the paperwork was sitting on someones desk under a pile of other stuff, which means he just lied to me. At that point I demanded that would be done on the spot, which they finally did. I signed the refund, now let's see how long it takes to show up in my account!!

Worst customer services ever, came in here and got over charged, DO NOT opt for the email reciept, it is not instant. Customer Services never sorted it out even though I was back and forward with them for several weeks.. Will never buy from Habitat again..

Historically a good business - but sadly I would now avoid at all cost. They have no process what so ever, it seems in the cut backs they have cut out the service. A very bad experience which has caused me significant problems for Christmas. Shame

Terrible customer service, i ordered a sofa with a 2 week delivery time... 10 weeks later it finally arrived. And it took 14 weeks of calling customer service to get any form of resolution (which was 10% discount voucher)

I made a purchase from Habitat and had a problem with the return of one of the items. Spoke to Richard (manager at the Tottenham Court Road branch). He spoke to customer services on my behalf and kept updating me on the status of the return. Thank you Richard, really couldn't have asked for a better service.

Sounds like the UK Habitat is like France Habitat, i.e. terrible service. They sent us two of the same sides of a sofa, it took them 5 days to say yes they have a problem with the supplier of sofa. They will send a replacement but no time frame meanwhile we have a one armed sofa in our flat we just moved into. As they say buyer beware.
