I went into the store earlier in the week to buy an iPad for my daughter. The staff were really friendly and keen to assist even with my one year old screaming the house down. The member of staff, Kush, took additional steps to interact with my children and made the whole experience a far more pleasurable one than it could have been with children who didn't want to be there. handed in watch thursday still at the store next tuesday will be ae store for another 4 days, all because they are waiting for a box, DO NOT HAND IN ITEMS HERE AL.L THEY DO IS SEND TO ANOTHER STORE, so to an actual apple store, where you will be given a replacement on the day, or send to repair, this shop does not repair, its a con scam, nearly 7 days for them to send my watch to a place that will repair then they will send it back to them instead of you TRIED TO GET ME TO PAY £200 SO THEY COULD SEND THE WATCH TO ME, trying to get my home address refuses to send watch in for repair unless I pay them £200 and wont send back to me, banned me from the store, so they could get my home address, now receiving threatening phone calls saying they will assault me if I don't pay them

Excellent and very quick service! First I had a very nice and informative conversation via phone with Victor, as I wasn't sure what to do with my not working iPhone. He advised me very well and invited to pop into the store, offering service on spot. Then when I arrived Kush immediately looked after me and restored my iPhone, explaining everything and helping out all the way. He was very polite and chatty - I could tell he exactly knows what he is doing ;) Thank you for your help guys!

Hi, thanks for your response. I'm editing the review to add more details. The main reason for my rating is that I would have imagined that, if I booked an appointment for servicing a laptop battery, the store would have a battery in stock and would be able to replace it within a few minutes, instead of asking for 90 pounds upfront just to look into it and taking 3 days, which was a mild annoyance. I'm not sure whether this is a general Apple policy, a store policy, or an effect of the lockdown rules. The staff has been professional and clear about that before I left the laptop, so I've nothing to complain there.

5 stars if you get the managers two if you get some of the staff. the managers and assistant manager go all out to be the highest representatives of Apple they are knowledgeable thoughtful helpful polite approachable and go the extra mile. the staff give patter they do as little as poss they fob you off they back in their own self importance. they need training and lots if it and I'm sure they could be as good as their managers

My Macbook pro was unexpectedly shutting down, tried thry on line guru and phone call but they advised to bring in but to book online. Only suitable appointment for me was at this store.I attended last Monday, 2 days ago. They offered factory reset at £69 and that they will test it as well for a while if they too encounter a unexpected shutdown. They told they will text me when its ready After 2.5 hours, I was only informed by email. Staff did not greeted, ery dry, non emotional faces. This is a seperate business and not Apple. If you buy from them then in case any issues you have to bring the item back to them and not apple. On further testing at home, it again. Crashed with in a minute and I am sure they did not run any test on it and just factory resetted.

I definitely discourage and warn everyone about getting assistance by this shop. I brought my laptop to get it fixed but they only worsened the situation to make me spend more money. I didn't accept this and eventually I got it fixed by a private guy who found sings of intentional damage made by them. My keyboard and trackpad weren’t working properly, sometimes they didn’t respond. On the 29th of May they stopped to work completely. The power button didn’t have any issue though and I could use my laptop with an external mouse and keyboard. I got in touch with Apple customer service online and they sent me a list of authorised refurbishing shops near me, I looked for the closest one, Albion (Strand, London) and booked a slot for the 15th of July. Before the appointment I didn’t use the laptop for a couple of days and the night before everything was working correctly again. I thought to bring the laptop there anyway for a check. At first they told me that everything was ok, just the battery wasn’t as efficient as before - a normal status for a 5 year old machine. They also told me that they would try to replicate the issue of keyboard and trackpad not working in order to find out why it was happening. They managed to do that and proposed to me that they would change the trackpad flex cable. Also, for having a longer and better laptop they proposed me to change the top case but I didn’t want to. Today I got an email from them saying that now the entire keyboard including power button doesn’t work and the only way is to change the top case. I basically gave them a functioning laptop for a diagnosis which already cost me £99 and now it’s dead. They didn’t tell me that there was any risk of completely losing the function of the keyboard and I feel as though it is just a trap that they caused more damage in order to earn more to fix it. I am incredibly upset and disappointed that I can’t trust an organisation that is validated by Apple. I even had to give my password for them to fix it which shouldn’t be necessary for them to do what they needed to do. I have all the correspondence between myself and Albion, but the way that they have dealt with this is ridiculous. I am not in a position to pay for the full fix of the laptop when originally the quote for what I asked for (trackpad flex cable replacement) was only £11.

Absolutely horrendous! I had taken 2 iPhone X to them recently . Both had green lines appearing on display which meant that screen had to be replaced on both. They quoted me £289 for display change on each. On one of the phones I had, also had an audio issue and they said that will cost me £575 to replace the whole audio as it was failing the diagnostics. I told them to wait and let me check with Apple Store in Covent Garden. Apple covered both the issues on both of my phones free of charge under consumer warranty protection because I purchased both phones from Apple store originally. I didn’t have to pay a single penny. Please don’t go to these guys or any other 3rd party’s. They will rip you off!

I brought my 2015 macbook for repair and they told me the logic board needed to be replaced and that it would cost me 600 pounds. I asked what was wrong with it and they told me logic boards are too complex so they can't know. They said if I wanted my macbook back unrepaired I would need to pay 50 pounds. I went to a random repair place (non apple-authorized) and they fixed it for 140 pounds in two days. AVOID.

I went there to have my iMac checked up and repaired and they told me a I have to pay for the check-up and for the repair, I paid for the repair and then I went to Apple Store and I was happy with the service and guess What?, Free check-up and free repair. GO TO APPLE STORE

Phone crashed and went black screen and I went there to ask them for help. I was greeted with a charming “what do you want me to do?” He then took the phone to the back and told me it’s “bent” and I need to buy a new phone. Walked down the road to the apple store they fixed it in less then 20 seconds. Really?? So pathetic they should be closed down immediately but whatever. People go to the apple store down the road lol.

I purchased a mac from iStore 2 years ago, and had a failed logic board. I went to Apple with my problem, and was appalled by their shocking customer service. So I was dreading going to the iStore only to have the same debate again. But it was the most pain free experience possible. I was seen to instantly by very friendly shop floor staff. They were extremely helpful and checked in my mac for repairs and offered that I claim under law that the mac is not fit for purposes. I had to fill in a couple of forms but within 20 minutes I was out the door having left my mac with them. From here on, everything was dealt with by iStore, and the repair was done within 2 weeks (I understand law claims take longer to process than standard repairs). Came to pick up my mac and got to test it before I left. Again, a very quick, easy and pain-free trip. Service here was great, staff were amazing. There was a slight lack in updates on the progress of the repair, so I ended up ringing a couple of times for an update but other than that, very pleased.

Please don't bother going in here. Just went in to ask a few questions - staff initially ignored me then were dismissive and rude. There are much better places to get your Apple products with significantly better service. I was looking to buy 2xI-pad minis and associated items. If you can't be bothered to respond politely and helpfully to some simple questions then I will not be spending my money with you.

I went to the Apple store first to ask for help with my laptop, they said sorry no we’re fully booked can’t take walk ins. ‘You should have booked or you should have come in the morning’ so unhelpful, we rely on our laptops daily and I’m sorry I didn’t know my WiFi was going to break a week ago today! I google Apple stores around me and Istore comes up, so I take my chances. The guy was so so helpful, he actually saved the day!! He initially told me the technician isn’t here on weekends and that we’d have to take your laptop in. I pushed a little to see if he could work any magic and he did!! He spent some time checking things here and there, eventually figured out that it was my dongle that was the issue as it worked with my phone connecting and everything was good again. They even helped me with looking for a new dongle, recommended Argos down the road and showed me options. I am forever grateful, and when i finally do need a new laptop I will definitely come to them! Repairs and all too, so helpful! And not packed with so many people like an apple store. Thank you so much.

Updated Review: After initially having a very positive experience with this store replacing a broken screen on my iPhone I returned for a fault on my Mackook Air. *I will never use this store again*. They are UNCOMMUNICATIVE and SLOW. I took the laptop in on a Thursday. They said the diagnostic would take 24-48 days. Didn't hear anything on Fri or Sat. They were closed on Sunday. I called on Monday morning to get an update. They then sent me a report by email bang on 6pm when they close so I couldn't ring them back. The email said then said it would take 2-3 days to fix the computer. I am writing this review 7 days after that email and 10 days after initially taking the computer in. It seems that they have they received the parts last week but have not fitted it yet. THIS IS A REMINDER TO JUST TO TO THE GENIUS BAR even if it takes a couple extra days to get an appointment. ------- Original Review: Booked an appointment via apple website to fix my screen. I went in first thing, staff were friendly. They were pretty helpful. they made sure my phone was backed up and ran a diagnostic. I asked about getting my phone battery replaced. They didn't think it was necessary and didn't up selling it. Left phone to get fixed. it was fixed quicker than expected.

I booked a genius appointment here 2 days before as the main Apple stores didn't have any appointments. The guys were super helpful and made sure I got seen straightaway and quickly identified the problem- my charger was broke. They suggested appropriate replacements, and even though I bought my charger elsewhere, they very kindly lent me theirs so I could use my Macbook to send some video files off as part of my work deadline. Can't rate their customer service- they made me feel like I was a valued customer and the service was as good, if not better, than an Apple store. Cheers guys!
