Absolutely atrocious customer service. What happened was I came in to finish paying off my contact which is £365 and start a new contract which involved the iPhone 12 mini. I was approached by one of colleagues called George. I explained what I wanted to do about paying off my contract and starting a new one. He said one of my colleagues will be with you in no longer then 20min. We waited over 40 minutes to be seen. Eventually we was greeted by another colleague called Mark who had the phone ready for the sale. Next he sat down and asked for all my personal details including my security code and bought up everything on the computer. Then he made me go through all the tariffs I can choose iPhone 12 mini. Everything was going great at this point, literally 2min from finishing the transaction. Just before we was about to finish the transaction we was rudely interrupted by his colleague George, who said that we made a mistake and we shouldn’t have been served because apparently there was 2 people in front of us, the shop was empty. Mark then abruptly shut everything down didn’t even apologise and told us with such arrogance that we’re just going to have to wait, when again we was just 2min from finishing the transaction.

This O2 shop is one of the larger ones in central London. Great customer service and lots of staff available to advise on products. This means there is expertise for products and services that you may not find in one of the smaller branches. In my personal experience the staff were friendly, patient, and helped me to find the plans and products that were most suitable. They also helped me transfer my data and get started with my upgrades. Highly recommended.

Hi guys , i am O2 customer since 2012 and today is 2020 . This is my second store i visited today in Oxford Street to ask for help to members of staff with my Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+ 5G I bought online from O2 and received yesterday at home. I need to make it work . Unfortunately I was refuse and send me to another store in Brent Cross were someone will be was available to help me tomorrow. If you need help with your products you bought from O2 don't waist your time going to the store . They will move you around in circle .

Was told we cant enter to check a particular phone if we aren't buying it (due to covid measures)while I could see the rest were allowed in. I informed I was interested in buying but would need to physically see the phone first before buying it.. however the lady told me I can check that online and come back again.. got some random excuse while I could see others allowed in.. extremely disgusting...

Mohammed was an absolute life saver, had my phone stolen the day before, he went out of his way to assist me, I left the store with a fantastic new upgraded contract and a replacement phone, he was a massive help, couldn’t speak of him higher.

So glad I visited the O2 shop and got a phone chip that was good in both france &the U.K. the price was reasonable (and much cheaper than in France) the service was excellent. The staff were patient, explained everything and made sure I had the most cost effective and right product for my needs .

I was ready to leave o2 given my experience trying to purchase a phone using my pay&go rewards. Leroy (Store Manager) changed all that today. I was greeted upon entering store which makes all the difference. Friendly, eager to accommodate and just went out of the way to assist. Gave me loads of advice and if I need another phone or guru advice in the future I'll go straight back to this store. Thank you so much! #restoredmyfaith

After having several issues with another provider, we visited the o2 store in Oxford St. Our visit was successful thanks to the very generous, friendly and welcoming member of staff, Rahim. He was very well spoken, explained everything thoroughly to us and had offered us a great and honest deal. Popped in to find out about an upgrade. I was speaking to someone called Jorge, he asked me what I wanted in my new deal, i went through the specifics and simply told me no and decided to help another customer instead. He didn't try explain any alternative options or help me in any other way and neither did any of the other staff!

O2 are the worst. Shoddy customer service. No service in various countries where EE and others work fine. Currently pursuing legal action against them for mess abouts in Martinique, turning off my data unexpectedly and refusing to turn it on or provide compensation.

Decent service, but O2 don't have idea how to transfer number from other provider, and does everything to make as difficult as possible to cancel contract even if by law I have right to do so. Contract cancelled 48 hours after signed, still issues with it. Definitely not recommending at all !!! Just stay away!!!!!

Went to get OnePlus Dash charger. Told us they had it in stock. Made us wait for 30 minutes. Then, the "o2 guru" assigned to us told us they don't have any Dash chargers. Need to get them online. Worst part, the staff didn't even apologise for keeping us waiting for 30 minutes.

After switching to a Big Bundle at another o2 store that same day, I visited this store as I was experiencing yet more problems with the transfer over from my previous o2 bundle. As a result of the discussion it was deemed that the staff member at Surrey Quays had missed something from the transfer of my bundle, in which the staff member at the store notified me that I had to pay for a new bundle again. There was no offer of compensation during this time, even when he highlighted that this was o2's fault. I exclaimed that I shouldn't have to pay for the same bundle twice in one day because of o2's incompetency. He said if I wanted to get is sorted this way, I should pay for the bundle again. Staff in general were pleasant and responsive just handled the problem in the wrong way. I am now a Three customer and I can't argue with their customer service or the unbelievably fantastic pricing of their products. NB: I was an o2 customer for 7 years.

If you have an issue with your O2 things, just go there - this store is one of the few branches where staff are competent, helpful and friendly. They helped me out more than once! I guess, we all have made our mixed experience with telecom companies. Dealing with support lines etc. was for me often a source of frustration and I try to avoid it. As it happened, I replaced my iPad with a brand new iPad Air. Unfortunately, Apple had decided to change the size of the SIM card, so I could not just continue using my existing SIM I bought at the Apple Store about two years ago with a tariff specifically for the iPad. After the online support chat was not too helpful, I walked into the O2 shop on Putney High Street. I should have known better. Once again, the customer service was appalling - they went so far to say that what I was asking for was not possible. And asking the customer to do the registration of the new Nano SIM on their own mobile phone, that does not even support Nano SIMs, is not really a clever move. Because I had similar experiences at the Fulham Broadway and the Putney High Street branches before, I decided to give O2 a last chance and the next Saturday, I walked down to the O2 shop at 134 Oxford Street. In the past, they were always friendly and competent. And once again, the customer service at this particular O2 branch was great. The guy was very friendly and efficient, he knew what he was doing, he was explaining the options and sorted everything out for me. Thanks only to him, I continue to use my O2 SIM with the iPad Air. It is really surprising, that mobile phone companies make it more difficult for customers to stay, than to change...
