Love Waitrose Brighton. Love the products and service (most of the staff there can't do enough for you) but as a regular patron and at the age of 37 I'd like to stop being asked for ID. It's flattering but that fades into insignificance when I can't get my god damn wine.

Good selection, especially for Vegans and Vegetarians also. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Might have a lot of people during peak hours and expect to queue a bit. Can get crowded when lots of customers use trolleys as the shop is quite small.

Love Waitrose. Their vegetables are always clean. But if you are unlucky, some of them are out of stock. It’s also clean place and decent quality with fair prices. I mostly go there as I live closer.

My regular supermarket. The staff are very friendly, and they tend to be well stocked all of the time. They also have a decent wine and beer selection, as well as a respectable vegetarian section. I love their latest addition: the new sushi bar.

I had ever been to a supermarket before and I didn't know what to expect. Someone told me I could buy eggs there, which is why I went. I couldn't find the eggs, but there were lots of other interesting things there. In the end I decided to buy spring onions. I think I will be returning!

Quite awkward yet blatant racial profiling inside the store. Intrusive assistants hovering close to BME customers keen to catch them in the act....of shopping. Disgraceful. Love Waitrose, excellent selection of produce. Better than Sainsbury's local which is the same price for lower quality. They often have tasting stalls and offers. My only gripe is they don't have cash based self service so you have to queue at the tobacco kiosk or the trolly isles which can takes longer than print by card.
