Surreal experience for my son as a private patient, will never use again. Makes it very hard to believe so many of these good reviews are genuine. Now I take a good look at them, many are from people with 1/2 reviews only. What a waste of my time and money.

A really lovely, friendly surgery. I had a bad experience with dentists growing up so I’m still a bit nervous but I always come away feeling really looked after.
Lots of services available (non dental) but they don’t push them on you.
They were wonderful with our toddler too. Top marks Albion.

I'm happy to have found Albion Dental. Very friendly and professional receptionists. Hygienist Yasmin was friendly, knowleadgeable and very informative, took the time to explain everything and gave me some tips. Dentist Laurentiu Alexa was also very good and professional.

Competent, professional and honest service helping to make an informed decision, in terms of health and financially. First time in my life where my experience at the dentist wasn't traumatic!

I was in and out so quickly! Was in so much pain and they booked me in the same day- £55 for an emergency fee but no extra costs for X-ray. Rosario was incredibly efficient and took an X ray, prescribed antibiotics and offered to refer me for an extraction without me begging for one or justifying my pain, which is something some of my friends who have had similar horrible infections have unfortunately had to do. The nurse working with Rosario was very kind. Reception have been very helpful as I needed to call the next day to follow up the extraction and both ladies have been great. Overall will definitely recommend.

Ok, so this is coming from someone who fears dentists more than death. I came across Albion Dental Brighton accidentally, as it was quite close to where I live and the reviews I read on Google were pretty good. So I went for a regular check up with the knowledge that there are quite a few things to be fixed. The staff at the reception was really nice and explained everything I needed to know, but the absolute "star of the show" is Dr. Alexa. He is just brilliant and is putting up with my fear of dentists in a very understanding and respectful manner (which is not always the case with other dentists). Dr. Alexa is extremely knowledgeable and manages to always translate the complex dental language into plain English. I've been to quite a few dentists already, but I'm really really happy with this practice and I'll definitely remain their patient for the foreseeable future.

I went to Albion Street dentist 18/01/21. They were following tier4 lockdown security. Hand sanitizer at entrance. Masks worn at all times except when asked not to for examination only. They were quick, efficient , whilst remaining curtious towards myself. 10 out of 10.

Booked an appointment here for a crown that had come off after registering with them earlier in the year after being told they were accepting NHS.
Stuck crown back in and I was charged £55 when going back to reception.
My complaint is that at NO TIME was I informed by reception staff when making the appointment that they were ONLY OFFERING PRIVATE TREATMENT.
I informed them i had been told earlier in the year that I had been accepted as an NHS patient.
To that they replied that I would only have been accepted if I had an actual check-up. (They cancelled it due to Covid, which I understand. What I don't understand is why it was never explained) Again, NONE of this notified at the time of requesting NHS sign-up.
It is also the law that a treatment plan is meant to be discussed and agreed - even for emergency work - so the emergency fee should have disclosed at the time of booking.
They also just told me that they are no longer accepting NHS!
So my physical dental check up was cancelled but others had theirs go ahead.
If my written forms were logged and through no fault of my own, physical check up cancelled, why was I then not phoned to rebook physical check-up when they reopened?
This reception is not operating according to guidelines.

This practice is brilliant.
The care I have received over the past few years has been exemplary.
The reception staff have always been great but during these difficult times with limitations on services, the staff go out of their way to ensure that the level of need is assessed and understood so that patient's can access treatment appropriately.
The dentists are highly knowledgeable and skilled. There is no pain and after care is great.
This is a caring and kind practice that I would highly recommend.

This was the first time I had visited this practice so I was already nervous as my usual dentist is in London and during Covid times I wasn't happy to travel up there for a worrying possible emergency. Overall I found the receptionists very helpful and friendly and I felt very safe with this practice's Covid precautions. The dentist, Sohrab was excellent, super professional, kind and put me at my ease and quickly identified the source of my concern, which turned out to be extreme sensitivity due to severe erosion of enamel. He treated the affected teeth and advised me what to do long term regarding this problem. However that being said, I would have appreciated a softer more compassionate energy from the dental nurse.
I would definitely recommend this practice overall and I really appreciated their dedication as a team.

I should like say what an excellent experience I had at Albion Dental. Problem diagnosed very quickly and a management plan sketched out just as fast. Rosario who I saw today provided a temporary fix and I was out and about in no time at all. All very Covid 19 safe as well. Highly recommended!!!

Albion Dental Brighton is such a friendly, calm, relaxing place to visit. I am just so pleased to have found them. I made an appointment for the first time in December 2019 with hygienist Jannie and she was brilliant; very caring and understanding. I had to bring my son who at the time was 10 months old and the lovely Tracy, the practice manager was on hand in the treatment room keeping him occupied during my appointment. Thank you!

Relaxed and easy atmosphere, no sense of being rushed. All make you feel at ease, chat, and make time to listen to what you say.
