Couldn’t recommend this dentist enough. Especially Gabrielle, she is brilliant at her job, being nervous about attending the dentist she has put me at ease every single time over my treatment plan. Gabrielle’s dental nurse Holly is also very welcoming and friendly. Great team of people!

Very bizarre and worrying experience with MK Dental.
I receive a text saying my routine appointment is due, so I call and book, along with a hygienist appointment (paying a £30 deposit).
I go along to my routine appointment, to the only dentist I’ve ever been to in Brighton - who is not MK dental.
I have never attended MK dental, no one there has ever seen my teeth, yet they’d text me saying my routine appointment was due...let me book and took payment from me! I’d assumed it was my dentist as I’ve only attended one dentist in 10 years of living in Brighton.
I call straight away, explain I’ve got to my appointment but you’re not actually my dentist, I’ve never, ever attended the practice, and I’d like my £30 deposit refunded.
I’m told I’ll receive a call back. They don’t.
I call the next morning, I’m told I’ll receive a call back. Someone phones me back, just to say...we’ll phone you back. They don’t.
I call the next day, I’m told I’ll receive a call back. They don’t.
I call that afternoon, I’m told I’ll receive a call back. They don’t.
I call the next day, I’m told I’ll receive a call back. Someone phones me back, to say someone will phone me back the next day to give me my refund.
They don’t! Surprise surprise!
I’ve called 7 or 8 times, no refund, not getting anywhere.
I have no choice but to now go to the ombudsman.

Everyone I have met at the practice have been friendly and helpful. 100% the best dental practice I have ever visited would definitely recommend.

Great dentist! First time there felt welcomed, clean and friendly staff. Would highly recommend. Needed a emergency appointment booked me in straight away. Fixed the problem. I also signed up with there dental plan which is great with a monthly cost which includes two check ups a year and two hygiene cleans also 10% off any dental work which is great for me. They also offer diffrent dental plans depending on what you can afford. Great dentist Thank you.

Amazing dental practice. I have always been terrified to go see a dentist. I have been to lots of other practices in my area and never went back unless in an emergency. But since going to this surgery, I am really calm because every one is so caring and understanding and dentist talks you through everything they are doing. I would never go anywhere else.

Mo is, without doubt, the best dentist I've ever had. I have a needle phobia which makes it very difficult to go to the dentist but Mo has helped me through every appointment. My son had a horrible accident in the Isle of Wight this summer and knocked several teeth out, including his two front adult teeth.
MK Dental has been amazing throughout the whole process. Dr Raxit has been very gentle and calm. It's thanks to him, that despite the horrible injury my boy suffered, he doesnt worry or suffer anxiety when coming in for treatment.
I understand that these places must be extremely busy, however, I've never once been rushed out of the door. The pace has always felt relaxed enough that I can get all my questions out there to be answered - and each one has been answered thoroughly.
Staff here are very friendly and polite. On my son's first visit after the accident one of the dentists came and greeted us at the door (we were waiting outside to have our temperatures taken for Covid compliance). I found this to be very re-assuring, and also made me realise the level of care and concern the staff have here. This wasn't a one-off, he came and talked to me again today while my son was having another procedure done.
Reception staff are also friendly and helpful.

No And Matilda were excellent as I am very nervous. I had my tooth extracted today and I usually have sedation but didn’t today and Mo kept me really calm and everything was good . So please with myself and would not have done this , but Mo was fantastic.

Following previous bad experiences with other dental practices I had avoided seeing a dentist for some years. It was only when I had extreme pain that I looked for a dentist. Thankfully I found MK and can now say that I no longer fear the dentist. All the staff from the receptionist to all the dental practitioners are extremely nice and professional. I have had painless extractions and am currently in the process of having an implant which again has been painless.
I highly recommend this practice and thank them for making my teeth something that I feel I no longer need to hide.

I received excellent and prompt care in, what were very trying circumstances for all the staff. Dr Aryal and his assistant were wonderful, very patient and sympathetic. He explained was he was doing clearly and kept checking I was comfortable. All the reception staff were polite, friendly and efficient. I would definitely recommend the service.

I am an extremely anxious patient. I had to visit the dentist as I had lost a front tooth. I was really worried but the kindness that was shown by everybody at the practice was brilliant. I saw Dr Mo and Katie who were gentle and caring. I then saw Christie and Simone who also showed compassion. I visited 6 times in three weeks and the standard of care was exceptional, the reception staff were friendly and also helped put me at ease. I am so grateful and when I return in a couple months I know that there is nothing to fear.

Had an appointment with Natalie on the 15th of October,she did an assessment of my gums , and asked raxit to take a look at my mouth as it looks like I have an infection so advised to leave top prosthesis out for a while review with raxit on November 3rd and have been referred to a specialist,as gum health not progressing as expected,very thorough appointment many thanks lara.

3 months ago I shared a review that wasn’t so positive about this dentist, I changed my mind about that review after being in contact with the manager of the clinic & my complaint was listened to & fixed everything for me. I was instantly referred to the emergency hub to have the minor decay on my tooth sorted out & told that my next appointment with the clinic after my referral would be free. This is all well and good except I was referred on the 2nd of July.
On the 10th August I had yet to receive a phone call from said hub & emailed MK to enquire about what was happening with my referral. They informed me that I should hear soon & offered me a phone appointment that I declined as I didn’t see what good a phone appointment could do & would be a waste of the dentist’s time & asked my GP to prescribe some painkillers to help in the meantime.
I emailed again on the 15th September as I still hadn’t heard anything & received absolutely no response. I decided to wait a couple more weeks & decided to try to call yesterday (2nd October) & was unable to get through, I tried again today (3rd October) had the same result so I decided to email again today. I’m in a lot of pain & since the 2nd July the tooth has got worse & I can feel that the decay has spread across the tooth causing an incredible amount of pain. I am now unable to take the painkillers that the doctor prescribed as I am now 7 weeks pregnant. I’m so tired of being in constant pain. I genuinely believe that if my issue was treated when I first went to the dentist with the complaint I would have been saved nearly 4 months of pain when doing my usual daily tasks such as brushing my teeth, eating food or drinking a glass of water. I am in so much pain & at this point i just want this tooth gone.

I was feeling really nervous as I had to have an emergency appointment at a dentist I had not been to before due to being at university and away from home. They both made made me feel at ease by making conversation and playing good music, I could not have asked for any better!

I found Gabriele very professional, kind & caring and explained all treatment before it commenced, alongside Simone, I cannot recommend these two highly enough, and they have made a anxious patient feeling ok about returning. Having not seen a dentist in over 15 years due to a bad experience,i found a lump on my gum and knew I had to go,a friend recommended this practice,I was sweating, shaking,on my arrival but I now don't know why I was worried,I saw Mr Kumar and from start to finish he was so lovely,he talked me through everything and explained what he is going to do,his assistant was also lovely,she talked to me all the time and made me feel relaxed,I was still quite nervous but I'm sure I will get better through time,would highly recommend this practice,thankyou so much guys

Avoid at all costs, they cancel appointments, treat you with disrespect, ruin your teeth n the process, they have removed 2 of my teeth enamel!!! One of the receptionist is so rude! Others are nice!!! But if you want your teeth looked after avoid this place!

He even put on my favorite song and holiday destination on the TV screen to try and calm my nerves and take my mind off the situation. With a family wedding approaching I decided to whiten my teeth. They were not heavily stained but I was self- conscious of the front upper incisors being darker than the others. I was told 5 years ago that it was as a result of my heavy brushing wearing away the enamel. At the end of two weeks applying the whitening gel every night, I was happily surprised to see all my teeth whiter - and all the same shade for the first time in 6 years! It appears that the two darker teeth were simply more heavily stained than my other teeth. The best result for me was that no one has commented (such as 'your teeth look whiter' ). For me this 'natural whitening' is a bonus - my teeth simply look great. I am a new patient and this is my first treatment. Although it was cosmetic treatment that brought me to MK Dental (reasonable price - I had researched costs) I am very satisfied with my care from all the staff ; from Dr Mo Kumar and Dental Nurse Katie to the friendly administrative staff. Thank you very much. With my new hat that I bought yesterday, and my new smile I'm ready for my role as mother of the bride.

Complete time wasters. I was referred to them for emergency treatment by the NHS. The first time I have ever been to a dentist where they have tried to charge me before even looking in my mouth! Patients are asked to wait out on the street prior to their appointment. After having the initial consultation I was re booked in for a tooth extraction. Two days prior I was called and told that they are no longer accepting NHS patients which seems very odd as they have a huge banner outside their building saying they are now ready to take on new NHS patients. Appalling behaviour.

Since this practice switched from “My Dentist” to “MK Dentist” it has been a radical change. Dr Mo is a great dentist and second to none. Is by far the best dentist in Brighton I encountered. Everybody should try, even for a consultation. The team at the reception are beyond excellence. Sam and the others, have an impeccable customer service skills, and they are always very kind and accomodating, and they always greet you with their smile upon their face. Overall, this practise is absolutely “go there” if you are in need for a dental treatment. You won’t regret.

Mo and his lovely dental nurse had the pleasure of taking on my needle phobic daughter for a big appt! Right from the consultation he was empathetic calming and very informative. It was like a military operation to get my daughter there but with the help of Rachael and on the night of appt Mo and his dental nurse it was first class service putting her at ease helping her breathing she went in physically shaking by the end was laying still. Thank you all for being so caring with your patients . 100% recommend for nervous patients couldn't have done enough for her. Thank you

On an emergency situation caused by a cracked tooth, he conducted the primary treatment. The following day he carefully pulled the tooth, which was a challenge. The local anaesthetic was adequate. He let me have pauses when needed (big thank you!).
The follow-up visit he conducted in the same extraordinary commitment to care for me as a foreign patient.
He explained all the steps and informed me of the options with extraordinary patience.
