I bought a Gaming Laptop.
First of all, the service.. I need to ask help to a Sale assistant, after I am asking some questions about the product, every two seconds he was looking at my back his collegues and smiling to them, idk why but he was not with me. If I asked him if I can cook potatoes with the laptop he would say yes.
.. I bought it, goes home I open it and I see its already set up.. With the name of the shop inside.. He gave to me a Display laptop.. So I go back to the shop 3 days after, I see the manager and he tell me its not display one, just was setup in the warehouse.. I asked for an exchange because before I called the customer service and they tell me to do that.. He said "Yes, but the laptop is 100£ more now, so I can't just made the exchange" he was thinking I'm gonna pay the difference because "he can't change the price" on the till. After few minutes of nice conversation with this gentlemen he finally find a way to use the till and readjust the price to do the exchange and to give me a new one...
I don't think they are all like that, but the two of them I met was not really aware about customer service. Service was rude and they forced me to complain to have the product I paid for. Be careful if you go there.

What you see is what we have .
You will have to go online. We don't have a STAND ALONE CD/DVD PLAYER that can be plugged into a sound system or laptop, to listen to my music. Really unimpressed.

Didn't buy anything but service was fantastic. Everyone was very friendly and useful. One of the guys who worked there (Jay) was particularly helpful. Spoke to him about headphones and he gave me lots of advice.

I recently purchased few items from Currys PC World Oxford Street, I was happy with the services the staff provided me, prior to the purchase I asked about the items I was to purchase, the friendly staff took their time and explained about them, I always take a lots of time when purchasing something, I do not see any one rushing, rather they are showing and explaining to me about the items until I am quiet satisfied with the product details.
I had purchased numerous items from this store, have been coming to this store for many years, I also shop from the Tottenham Court Road which is a larger store, but the staff's in this store is more friendly and helpful.
I will recommend this store (Namely the Photography section)

I was made to buy a recovery key for the laptop I wanted and I had ordered. When I said I didn't want it I was told that I then could not buy that particular model. Cross as there is no mention of this prior to getting to the till it also cost me an extra £35. Also did not appriciate the HARD sell to purchase a warranty. Which I did not want or buy!!!

Absolutely poor customer service. No help or people asking if I needed any assistance when I entered and was stood looking at chargers for quite some time. And Naz who served me was more busy on her mobile phone than actually having a conversation with me. I know being on the till is not the best experience in the world but still... Put your phone down when you have a customer. That text will happily be sent 5 seconds after you say "have a nice day". Jeez.

I bought a LG fridge freezer from them and it was covered for a year warranty and i even paid them to extend the warranty for 5 years ! Only after 8 Month the ice maker stop working ! It's takes 3 months to replace it with another onew! The only good to sell but in terms of customer service they are zero.

Service was a little bit slow - it took over 10 minutes for them to bring out the phone I had asked for. Then it turned out the price on display was wrong. I looked it up on their website, and it was there at the higher price, but I noticed that there was a lower price at one of the stores they do a price match with. They then tried to tell me that they couldn't price match with that store, without giving a reason. Eventually the manager came and sorted it out - I got the phone at the competitor's price.

the WORST customer service & experience EVER(store & the company)- I purchase my laptop few months ago. Because of their mistake I returned my laptop few times to their shop to sort out the problem... wasted my time, money & effected my work and study ( my laptop did not work!!!) I complained in writing but they did nothing!!!! My laptop was broken 2 months ago. I had an insurance but it took 3 weeks for them to deal with it and at the end they could not repair it and gave me a voucher. I bought a new laptop and it was faulty again. I took it there on the 7th of Nov 2016. They exchanged it for me and told me come back in 2 days. It's been 2 weeks now but my laptop is not ready yet!!!!!
I have never ever buy something from them and I strongly advise you never even go near them cause there are plenty of nice companies outside that give you a best customer service and experience.

Loved their service. The guy there helped me pick out a PC within my budget and guided me so that I maximize my discount there though store offers and package deals. The only disappointing thing was that they did not have the Microsoft Surface Pen which I wanted to buy with the computer.

My experience with this store is not so good!! Brought 2 iPads to trade in in 2 days just in order to get a new one for myself. The first one was good, it went smoothly. But the second one I brought in, then the staff asked me for the charger!! They didn’t ask me for that for the first one at all!! So I had to go back home to get the charger and then come back to the central London again!! Rubbish!!

My only problem worth any currys is that they keep very little premium stuff in stock... Which is not OK to me. So please ensure that you check online what the stock is before you go there... Especially if you are an impulsive buyer like me.

I had a few problems on my purchase, but the store manager handled and fixed it kindly. The staffs are very professional and this is the best customer care of the world where I have ever seem. Even more, the price of laptop are cheaper than Best Buy US.

I was there looking at laptops for about 15 minutes. I got asked about *forty* times if I needed help. I don't need any help!!!! And they asked about my Sky, my broadband, my mobile phone... leave me alone! I just want to look at the laptops! I ended up buying one down the road at John Lewis.

Website said the item wanted was in stock, got there, no item. Sent me to Tottenham Ct Road store, with out checking availability there, and when I arrived, suprise suprise no item. Ordered item on line for next day before 5pm delivery to store, and am having to chase the order at 3:30pm.(Have been on hold for 35 minutes). Finally got through to a rather stroppy customer services assistant that kept telling me it wasnt her fault as she is in darlington, and not the store, to learn that the item has been in store since 10:15 am, but, not that its her fault, no one deemed it necessary to let me know. Not good. Very unlikely to use again. Update. Having gone to the store, the item was not there. Maybe tomorrow I was told most un helpfully.

Bought an Asus Zenbrook from PC world for close to £2,000. Screen died after only 8 months. Took it to Oxford Street store for repair. They took over a month to return the laptop, they didn't even send it away for over a week, it just sat in a drawer. When they did finally return it to me, they had formatted the Hard drive, which was totally unnecessary.

They seem to have a massive amount of staff. When I was in store I was picking up an item already reserved online, and three members of staff asked me if I needed help before I could even get to the cashdesk to pick up my item. Helpful staff

Great customer service however upper management it seems are pushing staff to sell their Own products eg. Goji a company owned by Curry's. The product I purchased was faulty and were unable to return. Will not be back again.
I would highly reccomend the Curry's PC world in Hove.

Went here to get a Pixel 2 trade-in deal, as mentioned on the CarPhone Warehouse website. The staff said they don't do it and told me the website is wrong. Even when I showed them the deal on the website, on my phone. Very unprofessional.
I rang the company to clarify, and they told me the website is correct. The company redirected me to the Churchill Sq shop, where I got the Pixel 2 deal, as per advertised on the website.
