Great prices for phones. Better than anyone else in the UK

Good for all electronic goods. Check prices via web before for offers and deals. Think for taking out a support contract if you are not staying in the UK.

Poor stock and bad customer service. I was told to go to Tottenham Court road store to get what I wanted, the staff said they will have in stock as it's a bigger store, when I got there they didn't. Totally wasted my time.

Not enough inventory...Sometimes I wonder why I still bother to check out the high Street. That being said, there are much better Curry's PC World stores further out...And their website is good too.

I experienced very helpful service. The salespeople were hovering discreetly at a close distance, allowing me to browse the shop peacefully without someone breathing down my neck, yet at the same time they were readily available to answer any questions.

Well equipped shop selling from small to big items for your house. I personally prefer to buy from their website because it has everything.

I was so offended by their rudeness. Especially the person(don’t want to point out the sex bc I’m trying my best to be nice here) at the counter. I almost cried as I left. I mean, have you ever been to any store where they show contempt for you even though you are a paying customer???

Worst service ever, actually there was no service at all. They didn’t even listen to me when I asked about a camera cable and they didn’t even want to check if they have it in stock. Thank you for nothing

Why do people go to John Lewis? Because you don't have to prove to the staff that the headphones you've literally just bought are dodgy on the bass notes... Eventually managed to convince them and get my money back, but when John Lewis and Amazon make things so easy why give yourself the hassle... Avoid

Finally a big big warehouse where you can find a little of everything! Sadly I went for asus laptop and they’ve had only 2. They have a lot of choices for dell, hp, acer and Lenovo

Decent new store. Feels light and spacious. Much better than the old cramped one near Tottenham Court Road.

POOR SERVICE, POOR QUALITY. J6 SAMSUNG camera is the worst phone camera I have ever seen in a phone. It ruined my trip, I am not able to take a single decent picture. What a waste of money (219GBP) and time. My phone was just 20 days old and I was told they cannot do anything for me as the warranty just last 14 days and they were not able to buy it back, trading, either. Honestly, what a bad idea buy my phone in such a mediocre store and useless team.

Not only has my £500 Asus laptop hard drive failed 2 months out of it's 1 year warranty, when the back was removed we found masking tape on the back of the hard drive indicating it was secondhand in the first place!! PC World have no comment! When I initially walked in to the store to purchase it just over a year ago, the first machine I took home and spent time loading up crashed and failed. They just took it off me and asked if I wanted another. So I took another and guess what...? That failed too. (Should have seen this coming I know!) so I returned that one and this is the third machine. So after 1 year I am now having to pay over £100 to have mine repaired. Cannot encourage people to go elsewhere for your equipment, for PC World will disappoint nearly every step of the way. So to round this off, I approached PC World Customer Services and emailed them with my concerns, and instead of passing my complaint to the relevant person they have just told me that I can write to another person in customer services. AWFUL/Could not be worse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went today around 13:30 because few days ago i bought the HP of 189 pounds, because i though that at least that computer was working for reading some files but apparently i was wrong and at the same time no one advised me about it.. but let’s skip this i went to the exchanging desk for changing or refound my product there was a nice guy that told me that probably they couldn’t do refound and that he had to talk with the manager or someone else , i waited a minute and he came back with a short blonde girl with blue eyes (probably the manager) that she told me in a rudest way ever that they couldn’t give me the money back and next time i have to read the label properly like if i was a stupid .. (sorry but i wouldn’t sell something that probably won’t work ) anyway if i should describe the service of the other guys i would say that everyone was nice and they took care of me but this Girl the blonde one she was so rude she doesn’t know anything about costumer service and she doesn’t know how to take care of costumers ... by the way i changed the laptop with something else and i had to spent 110 pounds more and i went away with the bitter in the thought..hope this one can help

Actually better stocked than I remember it being in the past, and handily close to work, but you pay for that convenience in inflated prices. For example, where a Chromecast is £30 when bought directly from Google, it's @£39.99 at PC World. Still, for emergencies or rash impulse buying, it's very handy.

It is the same no matter where you go. More staff than customers who hassle you and when you ask them a question they often can't explain. They often purposely sell outdated stock such as cameras. Several times I have gone in to view the latest bridge cameras, only to find that their stock is extremely old. Unfortunately you are much better off going somewhere where the staff know what they are talking about with a much better choice of items.

Phenomenally strange retail experience. A weird and inconsistent aping of the customer service at the Apple Store (which seems to be a recent development), I had reserved a laptop online for payment and collection in-store. On approaching the front desk I was asked to wait by the display laptop I had chosen so they could find someone 'qualified' to sort out my sale. Why anyone would work in a laptop shop and not be qualified to sell a laptop is beyond me. Finally after the initial lady fluttering about the shop for fifteen minutes and asking every member of staff in the shop of they were free (despite them obviously not and visually with customers/orders), a different lady who was qualified to proceed with my sale came over to me and started talking to me as if I'd not spent every waking hour of my free time for the past three weeks researching and considering my purchase. She wasn't to know, it wasn't her fault. The training she had received had obviously and flawedly taught her to assume the customer knew nothing about the laptop they had reserved, or at least that's how it appeared. She interrupted our interaction briefly to check on another customer who had been waiting for what looked like longer than me, for him to tell her that his assistant is out back "looking for his computer". On her return to me she had asked if I had looked into the KnowHow protection plan and I confirmed that I had and had no interest in it. She then, obviously by habit in the way she was trained and in no way reflective of her professionalism, started instilling in me a sense of fear and paranoia about the operating system of the laptop and about how the warranty didn't cover the software. In her own words "if the software fails then you will have to just buy a new laptop". Having worked in Technology Retail previously for two and a half years, specifically in the department of Warranties and Customer Service and the surrounding entrenchments, I knew this to be utter claptrap. If the software fails on the device, it is always fixable. You just need to wipe the hard drive and start again. If the issue is deeper than the software, then that'll be the hardware, and that is covered not only by the year long warranty I have but as long as I can prove the fault existed in the first six months of sale I can claim UK consumer law rights for up to six years after the sale, which entitles me to a repair or a replacement of faulty goods. This interaction was only salvaged by me branching out as a human to the poor girl instead of a customer and detailing why I felt the experience was so negative and awkward. She wasn't aware of any of the details I had given her considering her rights as a consumer in this country with the purchase of electronic goods and I feel this is a dreadful failure on the part of the company she works for and the lack of training and empathy they have managed to invest in their employees. If you're going to copy something or someone, at least do your research and train your staff properly. I have only ever used this place for convenience (I don't expect a member of staff to question my purchase when I have taken the liberty of reserving it online) and the interaction was so inconvenient I probably won't shop there again.

I knew exactly what laptop i wanted asked a member of staff he told me to wait for a sales rep in this section ( i knew what i wanted as i research allready all he had to do was get me the product) the rep for this section was told i was waiting he then serves a customer that walked through the door. I waited a little longer, he knew i was waiting (however the lady that walked through the door was very attractive) and just wanted a usb stick!!! I walked out without purchasing the £800 laptop, their loss i went elsewhere

Wanted to buy a new laptop for my daughter. The PC World telephone sales person was impatient, unbearably rude and unhelpful in my opinion, so I decided to try my luck in store. Commendation to Mike C who served me today for not being patronising and overbearing as sometimes some techie salespeople can be. Nor did he try to blind me with science or try to make me buy anything that I didn't need. He was efficient, attentive, and informative. 20 mins later I left the store feeling very pleased with my purchase and confident that I had made the right decision. Well worth the hassle of going to the store after a long day at work. Will be collecting the new laptop tomorrow ready to go. Thank you.

I asked a staff member for help and he was rude and condescending. He basically told me that I don't know what I'm talking about, and what I wanted wasn't worth buying (and naturally, he suggested something much more expensive). He was so unhelpful, and when it became clear I wasn't going to buy a laptop on the day he left me to help other people. ????

I spoke to a gentleman (sorry i didnt cstcj your name) about a galaxy s6 in there yesterday. Very helpful gentleman recommending me and my partner new phone's. He knew all the information an employee should know. He also told us thatbwe can trade in our old broken phone's to receive a discount on the new models. He also told us to go check out thier other store which is inside the shopping mall. Absolutely great help. Wonderful service will definetly go again.

Staff lack knowledge and rather than admitting this they 'make stuff up'. This happened in photography and laptops sections. Thankfully the staff at the Oxford Circus branch took a different and incredibly professional approach (by comparison).

Today's visit was quite disappointing. I think that approximately 10-15 employees had their eyes planted into their smartphones or each other, and not paying enough attention to the customers. Not good! Planning on leaving the store with way more than I did...

Don't usually have a issue with curry's/pcworld however I will not be visiting the branch in Oxford circus/Tottenham court road again. Went in to enquire about a laptop and payment plans as shown on the website and all I got was we don't know about that and then trying to push me for the plan they wanted (no doubt they had targets or similar to achieve). I left without a laptop and will have to source elsewhere.

I purchased an Asus MeMo Pad 8" Tablet, and was told that I needed to buy Anti Virus software for it,so I spent the best part of £40. When I got home, the software was for Windows PC use, and it gave a FREE version for Android online...which I didn't even need the purchased software to be able to use. So now I use another mainstream free product, and I have had absolutely no problems. Most frequently, too, they have staff that don't know anything about what they're trying to sell you!
