The store itself is fantastic in the extent of its displays to be able to touch and appreciate items in their physical form. Unfortunately, they did not stick to their advertised bank holiday opening times (closed earlier than 8pm) and an employee didn't know about the ability to compare TV specs on their own website, even though they sell such an extensive range. Frustratingly they also didn't have in stock a TV which was on display. Would be great if they had a direct phone number to ring to check stock etc...

Had to buy a new freezer thanks to carers breaking mine. Thankfully a friend was able to drive me to collect one (and lend me some money) as an emergency. The service on the phone prior tomoderong the freezer was really helpful and the collection process of bringing it out to the car and loading into the boot was all very simple and smooth proces asside from one issue. One star has been deducted simply due the closing the boot issue. with the pandemic we are asked to open the boot upon arrival, I assume to stop the staff touching the car, and hence we naturally assumed we would be closing the boot. The staff member did reach up to the boot to close it - notice by my friend who called out to notify don't push the boot it's electronic. However he not only did attempt to close the boot but also continued to manually push against it despite the noise and several call outs trying not advise him to stop as it won't shut manually as well as the cars own resistance. Not exactly ideal for him to be touching the car if the point of us opening and closing it was covid safety, especially me being a disabled vulnerable adult. Also re the fact that my car's boot is electrically operated - the boot close button is rather big and red, should be easy to spot. Many car boots are electrically operated now and manually pushing can cause damage so if it is part of the service to be closing the boot (which I'm sure it is not) then surely it can't have been the first boot that closing by forcing it down manually could have caused damage. Feel any staff considering this was at the end of the long period of lockdown click and collect via parking up service should be aware that electronic boot closure shouldn't be manually forced. Aside from the boot hiccup - everything was great and thankfully my friend was able to help me save most of mine and my dogs food from being wasted by the carer breaking my old freezer.

Big place with great deals. The staff can try to hard to sell and when you not interested they can get the knock and decided not to help unless you want to buy something. The management are rude and couldn't care less about customers or if they have concerns. The refund policy is ridiculous, if you open it then you can't return it. Currys could be amazing but they let themselves down on so many levels. I would check other places before considering currys because if something goes wrong you will have a hard time refunding or exchanging if you have opened the product and tried it out.

After being told over the phone to go to the Brighton store to get an exchange for an order that came the wrong colour I was sent here (apparently Brighton couldn't do exchanges?) . I was then told I would have to be the one to ring up to organise an exchange myself after spending the day and bus money getting to Hove ???? I was denied to speak to anyone higher up as I thought is was ridiculous and told there was nothing they could do. I hate to be a Karen and make these types of things but it really was ridiculous and a waste of my day to just be told to do it myself. Staff were friendly and as helpful as they could be however it wasn't the best experience for me after being told to go all the way to Hove...

Unfortunately I can't rate this shop better then 1 star. On the 14 April I went there to purchase a kitchen equipment. Around 15 people were in the shop at that time, so wouldn't call it busy. Finding 2 different product, I needed some advice. I was looking around but only 1 customer advisor around that area and he was busy. After waiting about 10 min, I went to the cashier and asked for help. He sent me back to the product aisle and assured me he will send someone shortly. After about 15-20 min I started to loose my patience, so I grabbed one of the two and went to the cashier. Upon asking them again, they grabbed an advisor who had not even the minimum idea about that product group and he acted like a lost child. As I needed this product, I decided to not even trying to talk to them any longer, just paid and left. Beside being totally incompetent in customer service, I sensed a bit of attitude against me, especially by the young guy at that time at the tilt? That's a big no-no for me. Very very disappointed.

Good customer service once you get inside the store. However, I was forced to queue up outside in the bloody rain! It was absolutely freezing and the staff would not let us in!!! Employee Alex however, was very nice and understanding. Even helped me once I got inside the store.

Honestly shoddy doesn’t describe this store and their staff. 2 people outside making sure people wear their masks and barely anyone available to grab out a MacBook! I don’t want advice, in fact I want to make this as easy as possible and just grab and go! The two members of staff I spoke to told me I’d just have to wait around and someone would get to me, after 20 minutes I gave up as the staff all seem to be busy advising customers on phone cases! I’m not wasting £1200 in this store to just be told to wait around, what a bizarre policy - no queue, nowhere in particular to wait, just hang around and hope that someone spots me - no thanks!! I shouldn’t have to wait to speak to someone when I know what I want.

James McGovern and James Coomber are a asset to your store, the other manager whose name I cannot remember should take some lessons on customer service from James Mc Govern. Because of the help I received from James McGovern I ended up spending £350 which I had no intention of spending when I went into the shop and almost didn't because of the attitude of the other manager.

Bought a tv with collection, got email to say ready for delivery... had to hold 30 min on the phone to be told that it is ready to collect to approach the store. The store closed at 18:00 the guy on the phone and the store itself has the time written online as closing 19;00 on Saturday. We arrived with the store being closed along with 2 more cars waiting at the parking spot.. we were nr 1 in the queue and we waited as it said to wait for the item.. clearly it was not correct. Horrible service.. Horrible automated service...

Ordered, and paid for, a new laptop to collect same day from Hove store. Received order confirmation after payment which said to wait for email which would give collection instructions. Waited all day, no email. Now on second day, still no email, webpage with order ref number has expired. Logged in under account, only orders visible are for past purchases, no sign of laptop. Tried to call store, no phone number published!

PCWorld was bought into existence to supply pc parts and complete PCs to the public. Yet I went into the store today to be told that they now longer stock internal hard drives. You can order in for next day delivery only. Ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous.

Today in store, lots of staff around, but part of the computer area is closed off due to it being by the cash desk... supposedly staff should assist customers in this area but.we waited for some help but not one of the staff thought to ask if we needed help... when we asked we were told to wait and someone would be there. We'd waited long enough so we left. It would be an idea with all the staff in store to allocate someone to that area. We were going to buy an iPad but we'll buy it elsewhere now.

This is a large, well stocked store for tech toys and home gadgets. If you lack expertise yourself, you can sometimes find staff with the right level of knowledge to advise you. It is rarely a place for bargains but, in the modern world of click and collect, it can be worth paying a premium to be able to: a) visually compare a good range of alternatives b) touch and feel the product before you buy it c) take it home with you there and then, instead of waiting x days

Nice size, choice of products is good. The staff can be nice but I had someone who basically kept trying to push premiums onto me while I was making a purchase and when I turned them down they would attempt to guilt trip me which made me feel uncomfortable
