Dire service! Ordered a product for collection. Received very detailed and highly professional acknowledgment telling us how Curry’s contract/free pick up works. (Wait in car park, with boot open etc). Make our way there and follow instructions. Receive text saying order is ready. We wait. And wait. And wait. Try ringing the store but jaunty message cuts off after 10 seconds. Each time. Eventually walk round to front of store. Order waiting for us.. Complain about car park pickup. ‘Oh, we don’t do that here!’ This for a £100 order. So bad.

Flagship store! Products are on display in a nice clean modern environment. Every Currys PC World needs to be like this one! This is Currys' step into the present day. Very good store and staff are very helpful.

I was told over the phone to come to the store to do an exchange as my unopened order came in the wrong colour. Was then told to go all the way to Hove as they didn't do exchanges only to be told at Hove I am supposed to phone them up myself to get the package collected so that I can recieve my correct order ???? A whole day was wasted and no accountability was taken when I questioned the Brighton store why I was told to go to Hove ????

Used the one in Western Road. Very helpful assistant. I knew the phone I wanted so very straightforward. Great to be able to ask questions, better than ordering on line. Numbers changed, better mobile package.

I would avoid this store particularly. I walked in with a relatively expensive pair of Sony headphones that needed repair/replacing after 9 months of gentle use. I felt the manager was disincentified to replace any faulty goods. So my headphones went off 'for repair' without a mention that I had to pay. I now have no headphones, and to get them back in any condition they may be after bouncing around unloved in some storeroom, I'd have to pay £30 for a broken return. The company has discontinued its email contact at customer services, and anecdotally people are waiting 10 hours on the phone for resolution. Smells like another Comet to me.

Automated phone line msg says we no longer take orders online pls order online with one of our online advisors; apart from that confusion i wanted to buy a washer drier and vacuum today online but must sign in/or up to be privileged enough to order online with this co. that doesn't seem to know how best to support potential customers with a direct route to purchasing products (online!)

Wham! Welcome to over a 1000square foot of technological trinkets. Marvel at the latest plasma screens, laptops and home stereo systems them take a break whilst leisurely strolling through the kitchen appliances. Lovely ambiance throughout the entire store, great buzz amongst the shoppers, overall a quality experience from the lush carpet to the overhead strip lighting, stunning! I was in techno-topia. To top things off it now 'features' a Car Phone warehouse! Simply sublime, a masterful bit of marketing. Can't wait to visit again.

Josh was really helpful when it came to buying some new earphones. I don't get on with headphones with gummy buds, and have struggled to find any that aren't either low low end, or airpods. Josh was very helpful, and gave honest responses to questions regarding brand, quality and price of earphones. Been trying them out for the last few days, and think I made the right choice!

Big store with lots of tech but very busy as it is on Oxford Street. Great place to try and test new phones like the Google pixel with mostly friendly staff. In the past I have come across some very rude and unhelpful staff at this store but I don't see them anymore so hopefully they have been fired. The staff are your typical retail employee which, means don't ask them any technical questions as they will just look at you like you are speaking a foreign language.

I recently visited a Curry's store in Brighton by Churchill Square (194 Western Rd, Brighton BN1 2BA). There was a problem with the finance company (Creation) as their systems went down during the process of the application for a laptop I ordered in the store. I was assisted by Alisha on that day who was very insightful when choosing my purchase. I then returned to the store 2 days later as they didn't have the product in store that day. I was then informed that they had not received a transaction from Creation meaning they could not release the product. However, I was greatly assisted by Lydia who dealt with the customer service team at Creation accordingly and managed to solve the issue. I was really amazed at how the staff were persistent in solving my case and applaud their tenacity in getting me my laptop by disallowing it to escalate myself having to wait another 2-3 working days for the transaction to be sent from Creation. Thank you very much!

The Currys PC World Featuring Car-phone Warehouse in Brighton, UK as the name implies, is an electronic store selling popular electronic items and Cell Phones (Car Phones are not as popular these days). Located on one of the main thoroughfare in Brighton, UK, I must confess to only experiencing the location in Passing in a vehicle. That was 8 or so years ago and it is remarkable that there is still interest in the establishment. Growth and adaptability has paid off in the long run and will keep the business in good stead for time to come. There are mixed reviews so do your research before committing to a large financial outlay.

Great customer service. In the past I've had very mixed feelings about this shop but everything changed today when I was scouting for a new phone. I was approached by Luke , he knew his stuff very well, he was happy to listen to my questions and he pointed me in the right direction. He offered me exactly the type of product I was looking for and was very friendly and genuine which is rather unique these days. Strongly recommend the store and Luke specifically.

I got lucky and was seen quickly with excellent service - but overly controlled and restrictive entry requirements due to COVID - you only have to go a few doors down to a supermarket and their are alot more people entering and shopping as we all have too - so 1 person in store at one time seems ridiculous ... And means wait times for those behind me were arduous and frustrating hence 4 stars

Went in here to buy a laptop. The young lady I saw was very helpful and went to get someone who would be able to access the stock. He however then demanded to know what I wanted it for and tell me the processor was AMD so was old and slow etc. I said I knew about that and it was fine. He then started on about a better one at which point I told him no recommendations thank you. I know what I want and left without purchasing the laptop I wanted. How dare he or anyone else presume to know what I want. I may be old and grey but I’ve been using computers from before he was born! Never again will I use Curry’s

Terrible customer service. Asked for a screen protector for IPad Pro, told “no we don’t have it” then he walked away. I followed the sales person and asked if I could order it. I was told “yes you could but I am busy” I walked out and would never shop there again. Went to EE two doors down who were great!.

I am disgusted by the lack of service and incompetence of this branch. Let alone not recommending, I suggest taking your business anywhere else. I dropped my camera off on 22 Sep for repair and a full month passed before I heard a word on the repair. By Curry’s PC World policy, I am entitled to a replacement because that amount of time unacceptable customer service. Instead of rectifying the situation, I have been told to wait as they look into it, told to wait while they request approval, and told to pay at the end. I have confirmed with Curry’s PC World’s national customer service that I am entitled to a refund but the manager fails to recognise his and his employees’ responsibility to the customer. When I asked why now after everything I had to pay, he said the damage was out of warranty and shouldn’t have been booked in. But it was. He said he wanted to request approval from the repair service before going ahead with the replacement but that if it was denied the branch would take of it. Now it won’t. The details are long and tedious but suffice it to say even if you don’t agree with me, the hassle and headache is not worth anyone’s time. It’s six weeks and I still have no idea where my camera is located. Save your hard earned money for a branch or other company that has even a modicum of respect and competence.

Good selection and good service. Don't rely on the website to know if something is in stock. It's frequently inaccurate and the store surprises on upside and downside. Staff is helpful and friendly. Great selection of speakers, home automation products, phones and laptops. Decent prices. Worth your time if you want something fast and don't want to wait for it to be shipped from an online store.

Went in to buy a camera, big smile on my face as it was payday! Went to a girl (not with customer) and asked if she "could help me please" to which she answered "NO!" then went of and got someone else. Guy turns up I said I was after a certain camera he check stock and said they could get it ordered in. But the thing is I've come in to a shop to see it...if I wanted to just order it without seeing it, I'd go to Amazon...which I did. I wonder how many other customer they've lost £1400 sales to. I was being polite and I get rude staff and the store doesn't carry stock of popular cameras.

I order washing machine with installation and recycling service of the old one. So two guys came with new Washing machine, left it and than they said its not possible to install the new one because they cant close water from tap!?!?!?! They told my wife to call plumber to do that!! ! Just a joke !! Two adult guys couldn't close tap. So they left new one and they didn't take old one. I contact service a few time they either couldn't contact driver or just said that we didn't contact them before!!!! I sent 3 (!!!) emails to get refund for installation which they didn't do, because I paid for it and it's already 1 week and I still didn't get any answer from them and no my money back!!! It's the worst company!!! NEVER EVER AGAIN!!!!

Literally flew to London from Sweden just to buy a phone that isn't sold here. After going through a bunch of stores we ended up here. Some miscommunication at first ended with me getting the wrong phone, but I went back and everything got fixed in the end. The staff was nice and happy to help, props to them! Really good opening hours as well.
