He was professional, kind, helpful and needless to say answered all the questions I had about a head unit and underlying solutions whilst genuinely giving me his time. Absolute class act - I took my older VW Golf Cabriolet to Finsbury Car Audio to get a new stereo system installed, and they did a stellar job! I explained what I wanted and my budget (I bought the car second, second, second-hand as a project and a toy, and didn’t want to go too crazy), and they found the perfect receiver, speakers and subwoofer for me within my specified budget. The work was carried out expeditiously and to a high standard. They even helped me repair a few non-audio related parts of my old car! Everyone who works there is also very nice and professional! Highly recommend!

Went in to sort a sound issue and camera issue, got complete assurance they would both work if i bought a new unit he supplied which i did, 6 months later i've been VERY patient and my camera is still not working despite his attempts and lack of urgency to get it sorted for me, dodging my calls and emails too, POOR Customer service!

It has been 8 months or so now, since I came to Leonard's shop seeking help with the installation of a newly purchased double din unit for my mazda 3. So firstly, i must apologise for leaving it so long for the writing of this review.
Over the past 8 months the unit has operated faultlessly and is a testament to the quality and dedication of Leonard and his team's installation services. But really, this is as it should be haha. It has transformed the audio experience in the car and brought out the full potential of the bose system that came as standard in the motor.
That being said, what I would really like to address is the level of respect that his family/ team but especially Leonard showed me. In that, he saw I had attempted to install the stereo unit myself and decided I would be worth sharing some of his knowledge with as well as some of his life experiences as a young budding entreprenuer stepping out of the norm, breaking from tradition.
This was invaluable to myself as someone who also intends to make their own way in the world, if possible.
Your words and insight have had a lasting impact on me my friend, it was an honour.
Should be back at some point about that aux and hdmi extension to the central console we talked about.
Leonard truly runs the establishment like an instituiton should be run - faultlessly. There is no doubt you will leave Finsbury car audio not only with a sublime sound system now expertly fitted in your car, but also with a sizeable smile upon your face!

Knew I wanted to hear my tunes in my car louder and didn't know the best option. This place sorted it out for me and gave the best personalised service! What a lovely family feel when you go into the shop too! Junior recommended the subwoofer and it's boosted my sound and it's so much clearer with booming bass. It's like a party in my Mini Cooper!!! Long-time local business with good quality product range, very experienced technical staff and a consultative sales experience. Don't be prepared for a quick in-n-out meeting. The business owner Leonard will want to closely investigate requirements and expectations. You can use this to your advantage if, once all the parameters of your job are agreed upon, you request a written job description before the work begins. Recipe for success!

Car audio is one of the biggest minefields I've come across. The array of choice is mind boggling, so it was great to have the benefit of Leonard's many years of experience to help me decide what I should get. The installation was fast and efficient, and my car audio quality and radio listening experience have been transformed, very much for the better, worth every penny...:)

I needed some work done on my car and called Finsbury Car Audio for a quote. Spoke to Leonard. The man lives and breathes Car Audio and he's been in business since 1987 (Yes you read this right...19, 87).
Got a quote from him and came in on the day we agreed to have the unit fitted. He personally worked on the car and his assistants were ace too.
Want anything done to your car? Call them and speak to Leonard or as I now call him, 'Stereo Yoda'.
I went in with an issue, he sorted it and I left happy.
I believe this place is a London gem and perhaps one of the best places to get your car audio work done.
Here's to Stereo Yoda once again.

He fitted a stereo for me and it fell off the next day and I see him take my cd out of my stereo and then put it under his tools and took it in to his shop so he took my cds also very over priced for a person that did a chap job and very very rude person

After bringing my Range Rover in this summer because it was losing power and cutting out I've today have dropped off my BMW 5 series for a new DVD player to be fitted for the seats with wireless headphones for the kids, I've travelled over 200 miles to have this work carried out by a team I trust and know what they are doing will be coming back in January for new speakers and stereo upgrade thanks for everything and merry Christmas finsbury car audio Luke.

Well first of all they don't no how to talk to people let alone have any sales customers service. If that's how u talk to your mother then clearly I can see why you work in a audio shop. I called them from 9am to ask for a price they called me 4times to then tell me sorry we are closing lol disgusting clearly don't no how to make money let alone deal with people. I called Leonard when I decided to have an audio overhaul for my 1984 Golf. Leonard was an expert on the vehicle, and gave great advice for how to spend my limited budget, and subsequently had a stereo, pair of speakers and a subwoofer installed. Would definitely recommend.

Was told that my camera was not good enough to to install and that £70/hour was there charging rate and I would be charged for 3hrs of work.
I do not recommend this place.
I felt like I was being belittled by somebody who thinks they know better than me.

I bought a Pioneer head unit online to replace a Bolero unit in a Skoda Yeti. Leonard sorted out all the parts needed for the DAB, reversing camera, steering wheel controls, etc. The installation was expertly done by one of the technicians, who also explained in detail how everything works. The cost of installation and parts was reasonable—actually, the parts were cheaper than if I bought them myself. Overall, excellent service, and I highly recommend them.

This is an exceptional ICE centre, they're lucky to have a few installers who care about what they do and have some skills.
I've used them recently for a non standard and technical head unit install the final job was completed quickly and to a very high professional standard almost as if it rolled out the factory with that head unit.

My Edge amp/sub stopped working so I took it to 3 different Halfords (establishment I purchased it from) and following extensive checks and tests none of them had any idea what the issue was, the only good thing to come out of me venturing to all 3 stores was one of the Halford workers recommended Finsbury Car Audio and all I can say is wow, absolutely 5 star service. The gentleman working was, polite, knowledgeable and extremely helpful, it didn’t take long for him to pin point the issue and get it sorted and for a very decent price. I can’t recommend this place enough. Brilliant!

Terrific service, I can't recommend Finsbury Car Audio enough.
If you go into a shop and spend a lot of money you expect good service - I went in with equipment I had already bought looking to have it fitted to a 20 year old car and STILL received great service! Having turned up without an appointment, with a stereo from ebay in one hand, a bluetooth adaptor from alibaba in the other and a TVR to install them in, I half expected to be shown the door immediately.
Leonard was patient with my unusual request, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. This is the place to go for expert advice.

Needed to improve on my existing set up, was given various options for my budget and invited along for Leonard’s professional opinion of my sound system. He was kind enough to re adjust all the settings which made a huge difference,
I opted for a better quality sub woofer, the next phase was to upgrade the amp.. I cannot believe the transformation this has made! I don’t often write reviews however would like to highly recommend Leonard, Roxanne and Oscar for their much appreciated help. There was absolutely no pressure whatsoever, in fact I applied all the pressure for the work to be completed the same day, Leonard obliged (without much hesitation) although it meant a later finish time for them.
I can confidently say get in touch with them for advice, they do have years of experience and you will not be pressured into any sales! ????????

Top quality service and very warm and friendly with it. I recommend 100%. We had a quick chat about my budget and options and in about 45 minutes I drove away with a new fantastic-sounding set up. Amazing service from Leonard and his team! I originally popped into Finsbury Car Audio with a rough idea of what I wanted but after speaking to Leonard and him coming out to sit in my car and listen to my current audio setup he then suggested another option I hadn't thought about. I'm so glad I took Leonard up on his advice as I'm over the moon with the results. A new head unit was fitted the very next morning with an incredibly neat installation job. It looks factory fitted in my Audi. The sound is sooo much better than my old unit, exactly as Leonard said it would be, plus all the other new things I have to play with such as DAB radio and Apple CarPlay and phone charging. Massive thanks to all at Finsbury Car Audio, you guys rock!

Called Leonard up out of the blue as I was having trouble fitting a head unit into my Audi. Not only was he helpful and polite on the phone but he suggested I popped in so he could have a look. When I came down he fitted my radio there and then; it was a bigger pain in the arse than either of us imagined but nothing was too much trouble.
Amazing customer service - proper old school, like you used to get from local businesses. I can't recommend enough and I will definitely be going back. Thank you.

The owner is very knowledgeable and helpful. He spent several hours teaching me car audio before he swapped the wrong speakers I bought for exact same ones that matched my car. Leonard went the extra mile to work within my budget and the job was completed professionally and fast. 2 weeks after install I contacted Leonard with a question about the install and Leonard made himself available to answer my questions. Never ever use these guys they tripped the ECU unit on my car while trying to fit an alarm cost me just over a £2000 to get repaired at main dealer. The owner then tried to blame me and said I wasnt pressing the button on the keyfob correctly. Avoid avoid avoid

Spoke to Leonard about a issue I was having with my audi, not only did he go up and beyond to help his knowledge was 2nd to none. To a point he would know part numbers required. Honestly I couldn't recommend this shop any higher and you will not find anyone better at there job then Leonard.

I had a new stereo and reversing camera fitted here and am delighted with the results. Leonard was extremely helpful when discussing what I was after and is clearly very experienced. As others have said, he isn't pushy and doesn't just try to get you to spend money for the sake of it. He even advised against replacing my speakers as he felt replacing the head unit would make a big enough difference. I found all the staff to be friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be recommending this place to friends and family.

Timewasters , for a peace of mind use a company that knows its stuff . The owner has ZERO knowledge of the products he is selling he is rude and patronising (he tries to act professionally ) . The owner regularly forgets who the actual customer is and more than once accused me of lying or withholding information.
I was told several times that I will be called back in 5 minutes waited 1hr and called back no response instead I get an email (this happened more than once)
If the owner is reading this please do something about your customer service.
This is far from a company, more of a 70s corner shop ( you will see what I mean).
Please avoid this place the owner is a thief with no principle or ethics whatsoever.

Lennard was great, very professional and gave me some invaluable advice, tips and help (without it I’m sure it would have gone Pete Tong, even though I used to be a vehicle tech lol) they’re all super nice, knowledgeable and I will be going back for further upgrades. Highly recommendable. He even took the time to make sure everything was working as it should, set up my stereo and gave me a demo and installed some apps. It may not first appear all fancy but you do get a first class service.
