After 3 attempts (over the course of 2 weeks) by a mechanic to get my stock radio to work I decided I was going to get a stereo installed by a professional and there really is no other word to describe Leonard! I phoned early on Friday expecting to have to book an appointment but instead went in same day, I was also given clear good advice and charged accordingly. My car now has a great aftermarket stereo that does exactly what I need it to and Leonard and his team were friendly, professional and beyond helpful the whole time I was there. As a female new driver I always hope for the best but prepare for the worst when it comes to my car but Leonard was so helpful (he even fixed my dash and air vents that the mechanic had left a bit out of line, he also cleared some errors for me) nothing was to much trouble, Leonard really looked after me and I will recommend him to all my friends and family. The price for the stereo and fitting was extremely fair and I'm so happy to have a working unit that sounds amazing! Had a Pioneer Sat Nav Stereo installed in my Nissan Serena yesterday. The car has a Japanese system which was not able to be change into English.
He did a fantastic job. Where i was not successful in other Audio specialist centre.
Finsbury Car Audio managed to install it.

I just upgraded my car stereo at Finsbury Car Audio as I wanted a system compatible with Car Play for my Audi A3. I contacted the shop on Saturday as this was the only day I had available due to work commitments and was amazed that they booked me in on the same day! Amazing service, brilliant advice and very friendly family run business. Thank you Leonard and team for going above and beyond. Very happy with my Pioneer system! Hi, Leonard installed a DAB radio on my old BMW 2003 series 3. The radio sounds lovely and has breathed new life into the old dear. Had a subwoofer + amp installation over at Finsbury Car Audio. Pleased with the results. The price quoted was fair when you factor in equipment costs and labour costs. Customer service and after-sales support is great. I had a small issue after the installation which was rectified promptly.

After having a very bad experience at Halfords I went to Finsbury Car Audio and left with everything I wanted at a very good price. The service was very warm and welcoming. Will definitely recommend to friends and family and will go back to purchase and install a dash cam.

The owner of this shop is a THIEF..... PLEASE AVOID.
Went there to fix one of my speakers that didn't work.... he did not provide with a quote because he didn't know what was wrong with the car so fair enough ..... they took my car to the back garage and ask me to leave..... even though i was in the street.... basically they didn't wanted me to see what the were going to do.... i decided to stay and the owner told me that he is going to give me the car back and is not willing to do anything if i dont leave ..... JOKE
After an hour they called me and say that the wires were broken next to the door and have to be put together.... THAT IS IT ... still didnt give me any price.....
When i got my keys back he told me that the total was £75 ..... i was like I am not paying you that to put 2 wires together....
I was about to call the police or take him to court.... I cant believe there is disgusting people like them taking advantage or others..

I had an audio unit and rear view camera fitted in my car a few years back by Leonard and his team. Great service. Served me well till I stupidly tried to tweek a setting last week. Leonard wasn't patronising to this older lady and calmly readjusted things back to how it should be whilst singing along with me to my (don't laugh) John Denver CD. Lovely guy. Will be back when I need to upgrade. Great to support good local shops.

I have known Leonard and his Audio Shop for over four years now. From day one he has always been a pleasure to deal with. He is a very nice honest gentleman. He is always there to assist and help you. I cannot thank Leonard for his hard work and dedication. I have now moved and live a long way away from his premises but when my car audio system failed to work I came back to Leonard and he was on hand to help and assist. He gave me a brand new spare music unit on loan until my one was repaired and took the time to explain about the problem and possible issues that could of went wrong with it. I hardly write Google reviews but for Leonard and his business I cannot recommend him highly enough. Very rare in business to find good honest people. Leonard is in fact that small select few who still exist. Thank you sir.

Mr Senior was more than willing to help me with my problematic stere and then give me well informed advice. When you buy from local independent businesses you are not just buying a product you are buying from the person. He has been in the trade for a long time and seems to know pretty much all there is to know, not once did I feel I was being pushed to buy and for all these reasons this is why I chose to spend my money here and I walked out with a massive smile on my face. Now you don't get that very often these days. This is why you should always support local independent business for good people like Mr Senior.

The owner of this shop is a scammer and thief, I want there to sort my Mercedes c class comand mechanism. I was not charged or told how much its cost me to fixed it.They took my car to the back and was told to go back and wait in the store. They changed one 5amp fuse which 18p and spend just 20 mins and I was told to pay £85 for 20 mins job and 18p fused. I never recommend any person go to this can of shop and waste money. This is not how to make money. He is a scammer and thief.

I wasn't sure what to expect when I first went to meet Leonard and the team as I have met many electronic engineers in my past and found that the ones with all the great experience/knowledge charge way too much and the ones that are more cost effective don't always know what they are doing. I was pleasantly surprised when Leonard had the know how to re-wire my stereo to work with my steering wheel controls (after many others failed) and also offered me a very cost effective solution which gave me exactly what I wanted. I would defeinetly recommend Leonard and the team to anyone who would like/appreciate good quality sound and equipment in their car.

I'm always very happy with the service and care the staff give to me as a customer of 4 years, very down to earth people and very informative with information you may need. My sounds in my BMW is banging!! Fitted a new Pioneer touch screen stereo, bass box, floor speakers and dome tweeters, all top quality.. at a reasonable price. The guy that installed it all was very friendly and fast at his work.

WOW. What a jewel I have found!!!! I only found this store after another shop had messed me around, and am I so glad I did! The owner had all the items I needed ( a few are not the sort of things you would normally stock) so I drove down to buy the items. When I get there I could not have met a more friendly bloke. I explained to them that I don't really have the technical know how so could he please run through the instal for me. He wouldn't and asked how long I have? I said a few hours so he proceeded to walk out to my car and spent the next hour installing the stereo for me! All I had to do was fit the cage.
And he did not charge a penny for his help!
A day of so later he even called me to check how I got on.
This company goes above and beyond and has the best service I have ever experienced.
If I could give 100 stars I would.
If you ever need any audio for your car I could not recommend the shop enough, a visit will be well worth your while.

Shoddy workmanship and rip off advice.
Car was less functional after work completed. They had to disconnect my tow bar electrics to get rid of buzz on my system. Told me it was a lot of work to do 'to strip it all out'. (Its one connector)
Sold me a stereo that wouldn't work with my phone. Found out after it had been poorly installed. They gave it all the chat, didn't tell them I was an audio engineer. Radio still sounds like antennae not connected properly. Ran the system up to show me how 'good' it was - with the worst sounding FM pirate radio station.... Hilariously bad. Utter cowboys

Having just acquired an E36 M3 convertible I found I had an alarm than didn't work (it wouldn't set) and only one alarm key fob. The alarm was an over complicated state-of-art Sigma S series installed way back in 2004! So I was expecting Leonard (who knows his stuff) to say sorry it's too old to fix and you won't be able to get a spare key fob for an out-of-production alarm. But no! He had a wealth of old and new spare alarm key fobs and had an identical one to mine- which his staff re-programmed. His staff then investigated the old alarm system, found the problem and fixed it. Now it sets fine and all those 'period' over complicated (and pointless!) features work great. Whist there i was able to chat to him and observe how he dealt with many other customers. He's one for building a relationship with the customer so that they come back and I certainly will. Cheers. Simon N17.
