This is the place to go if you require anything car audio related! After the so called 'experts' (Halfords) refused to touch my car, I turned to Leonard Snr at Finsbury Car Audio for help. Not only did he and his team provide the highest levels of customer service possible, Leonard's knowledge and honesty surpassed all expectations. There's a reason these guys have been around since the 80s.
I initially spoke to Leonard on a Monday, by Friday lunchtime that week I had a brand new Kenwood system fitted and working perfectly. The aftercare and support I've received since has been second to none.
I won't be taking my cars to anyone else now. I can't thank Leonard and his team enough for the superb job they did on my car!

I own a BMW E60 2008 and as any BMW owner, we can all safely acknowledge that it is a universal fact that the sound system is the worst ever. It is really frustrating why they “ BMW” haven’t made a little more effort in making improvements in this area. So here I am with a lovely car and a poor in car entertainment.
I popped into Finsbury Car Audio and had a chat with Leonard who recommended an MB Quart component speaker system with an amplifier that was on offer at £999.99 including installation. This meant replacing both of my front speakers, adding tweeters, the two subwoofers under the seats, adding sound deadening and adding a 4 channel amplifier to run the upgraded speakers. At the back of my mind though I still felt that this may not cut it!!! despite Leonard’s 30 years of experience.
Once installed and upon a demo of the system, I have to say that it’s better than the Bose system in the Audi’s. I think the best advert to describe my feelings towards this install - is the one that promotes the big yellow “M” – Im lovin it!!!! I now find an excuse to drive my car just to listen to the crispy clear sound, lovely treble, deep crisp bass. Leonard you are the man and with the amount of time, effort, skill & Knowhow employed into getting this all right, a real bargain at the price. Thank you & your team.

Finsbury Car Audio have been fantastic. I recently had a new car stereo installed, the install was tricky (original stereo configuration awkward) but Leonard gave me a great price and the end result is exactly what I had hoped - I'll definitely be going back.

FORGET HALFORDS! If you want clear, honest advice pop in and see Leonard. Unlike the spotty youth at Halfords, Leonard actually understands your vehicle and it's more than likely he has fitted a stereo to the model before. I myself thought I was going to be in trouble when I wanted a new DAB radio fitting into my 1991 volvo 240, but Leonard new the vehicle inside out. Additional leads were needed in order to connect the amp to the system and also a volvo specific lead was needed to connect power from the car wiring into the system. Luckily Leonard had the latter lead in stock, it'd been there for 10 years! Now that is an example of why you go to a professional. A week has gone by and I can't get enough of my new system, I need to upgrade the speakers next so I'll be back.

I had a bluetooth hands free and ipod installed on a BMW with an idrive. Whilst the ipod worked very well, the bluetooth's sound quality was inconsistent and poor in the main. Lennard and his team did try their best to rectify the problem but their measures never really worked. In the end they recommended I paid an additional fee for an upgraded bluetooth model which they believed would work on the idrive. Having already spent several hundred GBP, I wasn't about to chance it. I would recommend them for the friendly service they offer but I doubt their technical expertise with any BMW with an idrive.
