Went in for a general vehicle check and to replace my windscreen wipers. Everything was made very easy, largely thanks to the great service provided by Mo. Took the time to walk me through everything in the pouring rain. Would go back if I need anything down the line.

Great customer service and help at the bike area of the store when I go down for my regular bike check ups and some well needed repairs. The staff working there are friendly and fast, and they know there bikes. A big store with lots on offer too. Great value on items, also on taking out the bike maintenance plan, its really worth it. If I could give no stars I would. Absolutely no help at all, the call centre doesn't link up with the bookings in store, the bike centre is so useless that other stores advise not going here and now I see why. Don't buy their 'care' packages as they oversell them and force you to wait 3-4 weeks just to get a spoke replaced. All they care about is money, not you!

I really can't belive that this store has actually any good reviews, I bought a Carrera Crossfire E almost three weeks ago and it never worked properly, everytime that I went to ask any information nobody could give me a proper answer, instend I been told to go to other stores. Besides my bike it is still not working properly, I went there for ask for a full refund because it's unacceptable to spend that amount of money for a broken product and they told me that I need to wait at least two-three weeks for someone to have a look at my bike. Also the manager told me that I have 90 days for return my bike and that I would be plenty of time to do it but I've been told by the customer service that I actually have 28 days because the 90 days return policy ended in february. The worst service ever!!!

Not a single thing went right. Horrible experience throughout. I visited Halfords to get my bike repaired after it was hit by a car in an accident. The quote I was given initially after the in store check was at £160 max. to get the bike fully functional. A day later I was called with a quote that was nearly twice as high, which included a £100 "gold package" bike check. I was told if I don't pay for the gold package, despite the fact all damaged parts would have been replaced, I would also need to sign a waiver supposedly to say I accept the possibility the bike is not fully functional. This clearly looked like Halfords taking advantage of the fact the person who caused the accident was paying the bill and they thought they could artificially inflate it. A week after my visit I started receiving marketing spam I have never signed up for, which is simply breaking the data protection regulations. I raised a complaint about this 3 weeks ago. I was supposed to receive a response that week. I only received it 2 weeks later when I chased it with the customer service. The repair was supposed to take 2 weeks. It took over 4 weeks. I spent 20mins on the phone with the customer service trying to get a message passed to the person fixing my bike in the store. Only half of it was passed to the store and they had to call me again to clarify. On collecting the bike (it took 1h15mins from arrival to departure) I noticed the front mud guard was skewed right. I asked why this wasn't fixed over the month the bike spent at Halfords - I was told this was not included in the repair as it is fully functional. This is Halfords' idea of a "Gold" service and a "full" repair. In the end they did fix it for me (took just a few minutes) but this was the last straw in this entire story. Never again.

I ordered a motorcycle battery online for one hour reservation. I paid for it online, got a text message an hour later to tell me my order is ready for pick up. I live in bermondsey and didn't want to get it from old Kent road as I had poor experience there last time so decided to go all the way Brixton to pick this up. When I got there, I was told this was not in stock. This infuriated me, not only was a wasted journey, my time and my petrol wasted but I was told that I would have to wait 7 days for a refund. I was told that this is how there online system works. I'm disgusted by this. How on earth can you put an item on the webpage, allow people to buy it, then send them a text to say it's ready then tell them you don't have it in stock when they arrive!!!!!!! I have been left out of pocket £44 which I could of used to get it somewhere else, instead I have to wait for this money to come back. If I don't get my refund back in full I will take my complaint further and head office will be made aware of this. ????

Went for a Winter Check £15. Done at 5pm so it was dark and late and cold. But Dylan was fabulous. Very kind and helpful. He answered my hundreds of questions because I'm due MOT next week and wanted to make sure I pass. He changed 2 bulbs and advised me loads. Thank you thank you. Have a great Christmas

On the 17th of April 2021 i was meant to get my dash camera fitted at 11am i received a phone call to let me know that they have double booked my appointment and they would like to move my appointment a bit later... An hour later I arrive to the store with my car for my dash camera to be fitted. I wait a 58 minutes to be told that my next base dash camera that was purchased at halford can't not be fitted into my car as its not made for my car. I was told I need to buy a more expensive dash camera black Vue that could be fitted into my car. I was also told I can't buy this in store as it online only... I was given a refund for my dash camera and fitting . Few day later I went to Croydon branch who advised that any dash camera can be fitted into my car and I shouldn't have been told that it doent fit into the car. I wasn't able to get my dash camera fitted on that day as they was a long waiting list. A week later I got the same dash camera fitted into my car by a private company... I will making a formula complain because in total I have wasted over 4 hours backwards and forward trying to sort a dash camera which could be fitted.

Been using the bike shop here for years, I have never had any problems. The staff are always friendly and polite, and they know bikes! I would recommend this place for regular services and general bike stuff, the prices are reasonable and the products are of a good standard.

Bought a bike 2 weeks ago from them, took it in to get repaired and received a quote of minimum £105 to get it done with a proposed £65 labour charge on top of it. Left with a broken bike and so nipped into Herne Hill Bicycles to be told that it would cost £35 in total to get it repaired and they could do it in £30 minutes while I wait. Halfords also told me the gears were fitted incorrectly but after the free service from Herne Hill Bicycles, I was told they weren't! Don't waste your time going to Halfords, shop local and get a much better value, friendlier service!

I went to the store last Monday on the off chance you were open. You were and the service your employee provided me that night was brilliant. He fixed my tyre there and then, and gave me a full service of my bike. He highlighted the gearing and brake issues and fixed them on the spot. My bike has never rode so good. Thank you!

Great customer service from every staff. Quick repair service, fast store collection and they actually Stock up quite a lot of products. If it’s online exclusive it’s usually sent to the store of your choice. During this COVID time I appreciate how much the staff are well aware on what they have to do to keep everyone one safe through the door staff, repair guys, floor staff and the till staff. Had a dashcam hard wired but after it went in, the Halfords rep advised that cameras for Minis cannot be hardwired to the ignition and that i had to manually turn it on and off. Turns out after contact NextBase that this was not the case and that it can be fitted to the ignition. I took it to my local garage who fixed it and when I claimed the £35 back, Halfords head office and Brixton store manager accused me (via Head Office) of lying and stated that it will always be wired to the ignition. Will never shop here again. Just to add, this information was all received from Head Office complaints so the response to this review from Halfords is null and void!

There was hand sanitizer at the entrance and shop was empty on a Monday so no problems with queuing - only issue was myself and one other customer were kept waiting for 10-15mins until someone came to help us (i had to go and search for a Halfords shop assistant first, who then disappeared into the back, as no one was around on the shop floor). When I was finally being helped the service was great!

Website booked me in for a bike health check at a 8am slot that didn't exist as the store was closed. Sales advisor was completely dismissive and rude. Telling me to read the sign, the store was closed and it was not his fault. No attempt to resolve the issue by booking me in at another time. Very disappointing experience.
