Came in at the end of the day, staff very busy but when they got to me didn't rush. Mudguards I ordered didn't fit bike so 'D' (Dorian?) Recommended a different pair and fitted them for me. Great customer service, will come back!

Went in to get my Boardman fixed up and Jason who sorted it was an absolute legend. It's rare that you're grateful for having a problem but this experience was genuinely one of those times - my bike hasn't been in this good shape since I bought it.

TLDR: Service left my bike unsafe to ride. I got my road bike serviced here and paid £110 for the silver service plus the replacement of the chain and rear cassette, as was recommended by the technician. The chain and cassette replacement were done competently. However when I rode the bike home I found the that seat hadn't been secured and slide down immediately and, alarmingly, the rear break cable popped out with application of light pressure to the brake. In summary, the bike was returned to me in an state that was unsafe to ride and I was lucky that I was not on a road when the brakes failed. To his credit, when I returned the manager was apologetic and gave me a £25 gift voucher. However, since they returned my bike in an unsafe state for riding, I recommend everyone avoid Halfords Brixton for bike services.

Can I put a ZERO star review? The most appalling service. I had booked an assessment to have my bike checked. Arrived on time and someone comes out telling security not to let anyone in, I could clearly hear his conversation, they were basically behind. I confirmed I had an appointment at the right time I was attending, and the technician said, "you understand this is a free service, what do you want to have it done?" "I don't know, that's why I wanted to come to your shop to have an assessment, I want it checked! Brakes, wires, tyres?" He jumped on my bike and cycled around the car park, that was the assessment. "Brakes are ok, a bit squeaky" At that point I took my cycle and left. The "free" check was supposed to take 30 min, and it would eventually mean that I wanted a full service done, including installation of racks, panniers, etc. The money I won't ever spent on this shop will be spent on another who cares for their potential customers, or control their staff's attitude.

seems buying from Halfords is a much more pleasant experience than getting repairs done there. they've had my ebike for over 1 month and cant give me any solid updates on when the battery will be replaced. sure when they sold me the bike it was all great, would have given 5 stars for it. But now... They dont seem to be all that bothered with getting my bike back to me in any sort of reasonable time frame, now im stuck because they are the only manufacturer of the bike and have all the parts, namely the battery. Beware buying electric bikes from here, any issues and you will live to regret it. Try Evans cycles or cycle Republic.

Halfords in Brixton must have a very good manager as the staff there are consistently good natured and helpful. Compared with my experiences at Catford Halfords (consistently hellish) - it is heaven! I am more than happy to travel to Brixton from Sydenham, rather than go to the awful Catford branch, just to know I'll be spoken to civilly, be helped, and more often than not, have a laugh!

Need it a new battery for my car. This Halford branch been very polite, professional and helpful from start to finish. Ones purchased the battery one has to be a bit patient until they can install it. (Waiting time was over an hour due to the current situation - COVID19) Very happy customer & would definitely go back. Highly recommended!!

Had a mix of services from staff on different occasions so I rate between 3 and 4 depending on who's on duty... some go above and beyond to help and exercise some common sense whilst a couple take longer to process information or even understand the customers need resulting in initial rude interaction followed by over compensated friendliness. Would save a lot of time if staff wear gloves or at least clean hands before handling bikes upon collection as my childs brand new white and fold bike was presented to me dirty. It took another member of staff to.prompt his colleague to wipe it down following our disappointment. Service could be quicker. Bikes sold with accessories do not come fixed unless you buy for that separately... again this should be made clearer at point of online purchase. On a positive they have been brilliant with fitting car seats and performing annual bike checks.

I've been warned to avoid Halfords in the past and I should have listened. Ordered a bike helmet for in-store collection. The order was then seemingly cancelled without any explanation as to why. Couldn't get in touch with anyone to find out, eventually got through to their 'Live Chat' rep who wasn't even able to tell me if or why the order was cancelled. Was told I'd be contacted by the local store manager within 48 hours. That hasn't happened. Sigh.

Went to this Brixton branch to get my bulbs changed & fitted. After a short wait, be patient as it's worth it. The first gentleman was extremely helpful & knowledgeable. The fitter was also very polite & had a great manor. My BMW is awkward to change builds but he was very calm & efficient. Great service & didn't cost much too.

I went in to get an AUX radio installed and was told there is only one qualified radio technician available at Brixton Halfords. His name is Paul. I had to drive down to the Brixton Halfords numerous times to organise one simple radio installation appointment with Paul. Finally, an appointment to install my radio had been arranged. So I went to get it installed and Paul installed the radio wrong. Every-time I started up my car the radio would need to be calibrated to the settings I wanted. After realising the AUX radio was installed incorrectly, I had to drive down there once again numerous times to arrange another appointment for Paul to install the radio properly. The reason I had to physically drive down there to arrange appointments is because the employees at Brixton Halfords don't answer the phone so I couldn't arrange appointments via telephone.
