The fitting service is really worth it. The bulbs didn’t fit so he swapped them for others and I was off. If I’d had tried to fit it myself it would have been half a day wasted and two trips out, lots of queuing and much swearing.

First of all. My first visit around lunch time was not great. Because one of your staff sent me home to print my LOC, He said go home and print it, which is I can say my fault because I didn’t realise that I need it. So I went home. On my return I was seen by a different person, He assist me, asked if I have my LOC. Said yes, and surprised to hear from him that it’s me first time to see a customer bringing LOC with them because most of the time they print in the store. All I can say that the first person who seen me needs a training in customer service, he needs to be taught how to deal in such a situation that I had first time. Why asked me to go home and print if you can print at the store. Meaning that this person is lazy and discriminated me at all. Two thumbs up to the guy who assisted me when I came back.

Went to get my bike adjusted after first double checking online that they were open during virus lock down. After a 2 mile walk I got there to find the place covered in "Do not' Enter' tape and no sign of life inside. Thanks for nothing. I'll be going to Brixton Cycles from now on.

Moh was a legend. I thought ‘how hard would it be to fit a front light...’ yup, very hard. He did it super quick and gave me a load of tips should I ever want to do it again. Having seen, nope. Never will I do this.

Good luck finding staff to be able to buy anything at all. Massive place and just one poor guy to answer questions, sell, go to the back storage to pick up things, deliver click and collect, etc. So far I’ve been standing in line for 37 minutes and it seems like it will be at least 50. He is doing all he can but obviously this shop is poorly managed in terms of staffing and operations.

Very disappointing customer service in brixton store. I ordered a bicycle as a present for my daughters birthday. I received the text message that the order is ready for collection. I went to the store the next day around 11:00 and was told by employee ( Andrew ) that someone contacted me on the phone to let me know that bicycle will be all ready to collect at 15:00 that day ( nobody called me to inform about this ). As i didn't had time to come back that day I visited the store 2 days after only to find out from the same employee ( Andrew ) that again apparently someone tried to call me to inform me it is not ready ( of corse no one called ). And why would he say that if it was supposed to be ready as he told me 2 days ago? Looks like just common lie. Again he said it will be ready in 20 min. So I ended up waiting for 40 min instead to receive my order.

Staff too slow and making mistakes all the time. Came to the shop with a puncture for them to fix. Waited for 20 mins till I got served. The mechanic fixed the puncture but my chain started clicking after that as if it “switched gears“ when I cycled uphill pressing the pedals harder. The next day I came to the shop, told a mechanic about the chain problem, he said he’s serving another customer and asked me to wait. After another 20 mins of waiting I asked the same mechanic if he’s free and he told me I have to talk to one of his colleagues. The colleague said it’s the gear that needs adjusting and that I have to pay £20...FOR THEIR MISTAKE! Luckily I have a bike care plan with them and it was free. But again I had to wait for another 30 mins until it got fixed. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Although you can find wide range of products in this store, if you need help with a specific product you have to wait for relatively a long time. But I should admit that the staff is super nice and helpful when your turn is up! Probably a bit understaffed...

Child Car Seatbelt Advice: we went to Halford in Brixton as we were finding hard to install our car seat - not bought from Halfords. However the 'fitter' was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and spent time talking through options and helping us configure seating for our new car and new baby. Very aloof, ignored us and made me feel like they're doing me a favor by selling me a bike. He seemed disappointed when the bike I chose happened to be in stock. Also impossible to contact the bike department by phone, it just rings and rings, and of course no one bothers to call and let me know if my bike is ready for collection, despite them originally telling me it would be ready two days ago! Clearly the employees do not work based on commission.

The only place nearby that has this kind of stock, good range of auto paints but "technicians" with zero knowledge, told me to put acrylic bodywork primer... On my engine and exhaust system before high temp paint?! Bit dangerous. Always do your own research.
