I came to The Dental Surgery yesterday and saw James Granger and Sophie Dickson; both where fantastic. James was thorough and helped me out in an emergency, and he also took the time to inform me of the situation so that I fully understood what had happened and how I should maintain my oral health moving forward his nurse Rachel was amazing. Sophie was calming and made me feel at ease; thanks to the superb service i received my teeth feel so clean and look shiny! I can not wait to come back for whitening, thank you so much to the reception team who were warm and welcoming. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for a professional and friendly service.

Their outstanding skill and personal care is complimented by equally fantastic professionalism and customer service from the rest of their practice. Just after I left the surgery, and for the first time in my life, a lady stranger stopped me on the tube to compliment me on my smile. What more can I say. These guys are the best.

I first saw Penny at The Dental Surgery about 20 years ago. She's an excellent dentist with a wonderful manner and I have absolute confidence in her. She recently made me a night guard to protect my teeth from grinding which has been a great success. The Dental surgery is always friendly, professional and up-to-date. The dental surgery is an excellent place to have dental treatment. The service from reception, nurses, hygienist and dentist is outstanding. They give very professional, kind and friendly service all the way start to end.
They have very clean, pleasant efficient environment using high tech facilities for treatments. I felt very comfortable and relax during my appointment at the surgery. Overall I am very impressed about the service and specially thank so much for hygienist and dentist.

More of a dental FACTORY. The "dentists" seem to be second stringers. The technicians are eager but right out of school. The model is one based solely on PROFIT rather than quality of care. Up-sells are part of the dental mantra here. My suggestion is to find a more reputable dentist elsewhere.

I’ve been treated here for at least 15 years and wouldn’t go anywhere else. At previous dentists I seemed to need to have a lot of expensive work done but the focus here is definitely on prevention and minimal treatment. So much so that I haven’t had dental insurance for a long time. Trustworthy, professional and nice people!

Over the past couple of years, I started to notice a bit of a grey shadow at the top of one of my front teeth. Unfortunately, this tooth had ‘died’ after a rather nasty accident many years ago (I had to have a root canal procedure, and then veneers applied). I asked Kirsty whether there was anything she could do, as I was starting to feel very self-conscious about it (particularly when I saw photos of myself). She came up with the brilliant idea of opening up the back of the tooth (where the root canal had been done). With it open, I then applied whitening gel nightly. The gel penetrated into the hole, so the bleaching was taking place on the inside of the tooth. It was a bit of a gamble - but it paid off 100%. Within a few days, we could see that my tooth was starting to lighten up, and after a couple of weeks the grey shadow was gone! I’m so happy with the results and can smile freely again. Simon and his team are just angels that gave me back my smile. I walked into the surgery just over 3 years ago un happy and hating my teeth i was also extremely nervous and had a huge fear of the dentist. The whole team made me feel so at ease and the whole treatment process was painless. i would recommend implants to everyone. The Receptionists are friendly, efficient and endlessly helpful. And all from 8 a.m! So stylish it is like walking into a City office- not like a medical establishment at all. I usually go to the dentist alone, but due to a planned trip turned up with my family in tow, without an appointment. I had a quick check up due with Shaun, one of the principals in the practice. No sooner had i sat down when my two and four year old were very intrigued by what was happening. 30 seconds into my chair visit and Shaun said in his casual New Zealand way, "Mate, your teeth aren't half bad for a man of your age. You had four extractions when you were quite young which we would never do now, but that's not because your dentist was bad, but more because that was what we understood back then. Could be avoided now, not for you, but I was just watching your daughter as she was laughing and she has the same jaw structure and bite. We could avoid what you had (general anaesthetic) and no extractions will be needed if we watch it now".
I don't know about you, but I find that impressive and comforting. I don't want my kids to go under general anaesthetic like I did and he wasn't even giving an examination. He also was able to tell that my 4 extractions happened when I was 7 years old (now 48). During this 5 minute conversation, my wife enrolled the whole family. Gemma and Maddie also need a mention here, for giving both parents a winning smile within the next 30 minutes hygiene appointment.
Now that's service to make you smile. Thanks all.

As someone who had plenty of bad experiences at the dentists in my younger years it’s fair to say I had something of a phobia when, on the recommendation of a friend, I first became a patient of The Dental Surgery. But no more! Their highly professional, efficient and caring approach from the outset was extremely reassuring and, almost 15 years on, although I don’t work in the City I have never even once since considered going to another practice closer to home. Their reception area has more of the feel of a spa than a clinical practice and is an inviting and relaxing environment in which to arrive. I’ve been consistently delighted with the service I’ve received and the dental work I’ve had done at the Dental Surgery, both general and cosmetic, and no longer feel the need to hide my smile!

I have been going here for a number of years now and the fact that I am a repeat customer must speak volumes. The surgery has recently been refurbished and the whole set-up seems to have been designed with the customer experience in mind. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff make the drudgery of going to the dentist a whole lot more pleasant.......oh yeah, and my teeth are now in good shape and no-longer yellow!

I have been a patient of Penny Grace at the Dental Surgery for over 10 years. Penny and her team are very professional. She always takes the time to outline the options available to me, explains the rationale for any specific recommendations and patiently answers all my questions.
Penny fitted a crown a number of years ago. I've not had any problems or issues since then.
On a more prosaic note, but just as important, the front desk staff are very helpful when I have to reschedule appointments, and on the odd occasion that Penny may be running late, they will call and let me know so that I am not wasting my time.
Penny and her team always make going to the dentist less of a chore.

I had an implant surgery in May 2017 with Dr Simon Nokton and it was an amazing experience. Dr Nokton did absolutely incredible work, in fact it was so good, that two hours after surgery i went to a business meeting having no bleeding, no swelling and felling no pain! The practice overall has the latest technology, best materials and gives a unique opportunity to each patient to discuss all treatment options. Five star rating all around!

I am new to the surgery having moved to London recently. Great surgery, very professional and very welcoming staff and environment. My hygienist was Gemma Morgan who was very thorough during my appointment and very confident with the advice she gave me on taking care of my teeth. I also required a filling which was carried out by James Granger who was again very polite and efficient. Overall would recommend The Dental Surgery to anyone and will definitely continue to attend my regular checkups here.

I can not recommend this surgery enough...I was told by a Dentist in the US that I would lose my teeth by the age of 40 - 12 years later I am still smiling thanks to The Dental Surgery. I usually dread going to the dentist but I find the atmosphere very welcoming and comfortable. The work they do is excellent and the staff is extremely friendly and comforting so I no longer dread a trip to the dentist (I actually look forward to it!!) Looking for a new dentist then you should try them out - you won't be disappointed.

I called up this morning at 9am with toothache and got an appointment for 11am. I saw James and his nurse Kate. I could not have been more impressed with them. No nonsense, really good interpersonal skills, incredibly professional and reassuring.
Also want to mention that the girls on reception were superb and the whole office space looks brand new and really high end. They may be a little more expensive than some you can find if you look hard enough but i would not hesitate to recommend this place to anyone.

I have been meaning to write a review for the Dental Surgery for some time; I first visited around April/ May for an emergency appointment and was seen by Andrew and Paige. I was extremely nervous about visiting because I was in the middle of my uni exams (so was stressed and sleep-deprived anyway) and I was worried they were going to rip out the two teeth causing me problems. Both Andrew and Paige were absolutely fantastic and were really calming to be around; I also have to say I really admire and appreciate how they went the extra mile, because I am pretty sure they over-extended my appointment beyond the period I was assigned and also extended it outside of their normal working hours to make sure they got me out of pain. I don't think all dentists would do that and it only goes to show that they are true professionals who care deeply about the wellbeing of their clients. I have been seeing them for subsequent appointments and think they are absolutely marvellous and are a perfect team; Andrew is an absolute gem of a dentist and I appreciate how he's really upfront and honest with his professional opinions. I am so impressed with them, and have developed such trust in their abilities, that if I were ever to move from London, I would make special trips to make sure I saw them for my future needs.
I have also seen Gavin and his team, and he was also exceptional - I didn't feel a thing, and like Andrew and Paige, he and his team have wonderful demeanours and are keen to put you at ease and make sure you are clear about what they are doing etc. Again, I would not hesitate to see him again if the need arose.
Finally, my brother saw Ben for an emergency appointment for troubles with a wisdom tooth. My brother suffers from Asperger's and so situations like this (where he is put in contact with unfamiliar strangers) are hugely uncomfortable for him; I think it is a huge accolade to Ben that my brother actually felt comfortable in coming back to see him again for a following appointment, and again, I believe that to be down to his calm demeanour. Furthermore, my brother had actually seen a more local dentist to where he lived prior to Ben, who was unwilling to treat his tooth (as it was too complex in their opinion) and so referred him to a surgeon. Ben had actually seen him twice and completed treatment before his referral letter even came in the post! So thank you to him to for getting him out of pain so quickly and professionally.
I truly believe that the Dental Surgery employs and offers an outstanding group of dentistry professionals to its clients, and they provide consistently good services. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

I was recommended to come here after years of just seeing the local dentist and never being especially happy but not knowing any better and returning there. Coming to this practice is guaranteed to change anyone's opinion about scary dental appointments! Starting with a relaxed moment in the lovely new reception through to leaving it is a calm and professional service. I have had some dental and hygiene treatment here and have been at ease every time as everything is well explained so the patient really understands what is going on, most importantly I couldn't be happier with the treatment I received here.

It's an amazing experience going to The Dental Surgery. I spent many years petrified of 'the dentist' but here it is a whole new ball game. It doesn't feel like a dental practice at all. The professionalism is clear throughout, from the first friendly hello at reception followed by the very approachable clinical staff where all my concerns were addressed and my faith is now restored in visting the dentist. I now make sure I keep regular dental check ups and even come for extra visits to the fantastic hygienist, Sarah! See you soon!

My hygienist appointment with Gemma was the best experience I've had at the dentists. It was my first hygienist appointment so I was a little apprehensive but Gemma couldn't have been more warm, welcoming and reassuring and she explained everything thoroughly and with so much care and understanding.
