I was at the stage where walking was difficult and painful for me. My right leg hurt from groin to toes. I could not participate in family events. I could not sit for long without fidgeting. I made contact with Mr.Imbuldeniya and had a consultation with him at the BMI Syon Clinic. His enthusiasm for hip replacement-his enthusiasm for his work-and what it could do for me won me over. I had the hip replacement nearly three weeks ago. After surgery I was amazed at the almost total absence of pain any where in my leg. I was on my feet the same day and instructed in the use of crutches before being allowed home two days later (it would have been earlier but for a concern about a slight rise in temperature). I have been given some physio exercises-simple but vital-which I do religiously. I go out for walks on my crutches. I am still amazed at how well the procedure has worked. I am looking forward to doing things I would not have thought possible for me before. I am 74 years old and thanks to Mr.Imbuldeniya and his team I no longer feel 74 years old. I can join in family activities. I am only limited by my imagination. I thoroughly recommend having hip replacement surgery.

He is empathetic and down-to-earth, and took a great deal of trouble to explain his state-of-the-art procedure for my total hip replacement. I'm positive my swift recovery and return to pain-free mobility was due to his approach and undoubted skills.

I had a total hip replacement performed by Mr Imbuldeniya in March 2018. Throughout the process from first consultation to final discharge, he took time and care to explain everything that was going on, the options available to me, pros and cons of the operation, how things had gone and so on. I found his approach to be excellent, both reassuring and professional throughout. More importantly, the operation was a great success and I was back walking without crutches after 4 weeks and pretty much back to normal activity after 7 weeks, including short cycle rides and walking 4-5 kms at a time. I would not hesitate to recommend My Imbuldeniya to anyone with hip or knee problems.

Mr Imbuldeniya was incredibly professional throughout the entire process. From initial consultation, to operation (restructured ACL) , to post op advice he has been meticulous and constructive offering a very high level of support throughout. During my playing career I have had the unfortunate privilege of having been seen to by various consultants for a plethora ailments and I would wholeheartedly say that Mr Imbuldeniya's operation was the most successful. I would much advise anyone to use his services.

After suffering from a prolapsed disc for over a year I had a feeling that the syptoms for my back pain were becomming hip related. I consulted with Dr Imbuldeniya were he suggested I do a scan. The scan confirmed I had no hip problems. Dr Imbuldeniya was very clear and helpful in explaining what he thought the problem was and offered his advice on ways to improve my pain and getting back to optimal fitness. He answered any questions I asked (there were a lot of questions) and was calming and assuring that I can in fact get back to my old healthy lifestyle which has helped me overcome a huge mental barrier. He's a great Dr and I recommend anyone to see him regarding hip problems.
