Jennifer is an excellent and professional OT. She always touched base with me regarding my dad’s progress and tried to understand his needs and focus better. We are very happy with my dad’s improvement. Thanks Jennifer for her dedication!

Lorraine knew exactly what therapy was needed for my husband. She helped with his balance as well as teaching him to walk instead of shuffling. She treated him with kindness and understood his needs. My husband has truly improved his gait and confidence. We are thankful for her professionalism, as she also kept me informed of his progress.

Alyssa did a great job for me during my therapist time. I was a stroke victim but was not really in that good of shape anyway. She worked me well. After all of my sessions my muscles were worked and I benefited from her personal touch to my workouts. I appreciate all she did for me.

Kessler Rehab Center is one of the most skilled rehabiliation centers in the country. I have recovered from a major spine infection as well as post cancer lymphedema treatment with their highly trained staffers.

I highly recommend Aarti at Kessler Rehab in West Orange. I am now 3 1/2 months post serious hamstring surgery and am back to almost 100 percent. With a combination of different targeted exercises and good direction, I was able to reach all of my goals.

I was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident and ended up at Kessler inpatient. The facility was very clean and welcoming. The people were very friendly and helpful. The nurses made sure you knew what was going on with medications, changing dressings, rehab schedule, etc. The therapists were amazing! They balanced pushing me while making sure I didn't over stress myself of cause additional injuries. It was a controlled enthusiasm. I highly recommend.

Michelle Hart is one of the most caring individuals I know. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and overall just a really nice person. I’m currently in CRP with Michelle. This is the second time I’m working with her. She’s very helpful and teaches me everything I need to know in Cognitive Therapy. She understands me and my wants and needs. I’m never intimidated by her and I’m very comfortable asking her questions, and being myself around her. We even talk about things that aren’t about therapy, like our families, kids, etc. Her aide, Kelly, is just as wonderful. Michelle is a great asset to Kessler and the CRP program. Thank you for all of your help, Michelle and Kelly.

I’m not sure I can find the words to express my sincerely gratitude for Mary. For 5 years, I have been struggling to find the right help for my mother, who has MS. I’ve read countless resources and reached out to doctors and therapists for feedback, and really received minimal support and guidance. In one week, Mary has provided more support, more assistance and guidance than an entire team at NYU Langone MS center. She is truly amazing and we are so lucky to have been put in touch with her. Thank you!

I can not say enough good things about KESSLER. I am learning to walk again with the help of such caring people . They take the time to learn about your personal case even before you start and they are well informed on what you can do and can not do. Together with your trainer we set goals and work hard to achieve them. My trainer is ABIGAIL MULLER and she could not be more pleasant to be with and we both are working hard to achieve my goals . THANK YOU SO MUCH ---KAREN

This is the best rehabilitation facility and it's the staff that makes it that way! Maureen and Liz are outstanding. I'm now starting OT and can say the same for Alyssa.

I did PT at Kessler for nearly 5 months after my Stroke. I worked mainly with Ashley (and her adorable service dog Kielty) but with some of the other ladies as well and they were all great! I didn't get to finish my last few sessions because of COVID but I definitely left there much improved. Ashley worked me hard but because of her I was off my cane and had much better balance and stability by the time I left. I was pretty bad when I first got home from the hospital. I needed a walker and assistance with everything, I had to have visiting nurses and OT, PT, & Speech at home as I was classified home bound & high risk. I was worried I’d never be able to do things on my own but Ashley never had doubts about it for me. She was very reassuring and supportive (esp during times I had set backs). I also did some Speech therapy there and both therapists I worked with were great. I couldn't shallow well and while the ST did help ultimately Tests showed I needed surgery to correct that. I never got to fully Thank everyone there and show my appreciation for helping me so much so the least I can do is highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for rehab.

I can't praise Heather Monaco enough. Knowing that I have such a professional and knowledgeable therapist that has dealt with patients like me in the past, I feel much more confident in my treatment. I’m grateful for everything she is doing to keep both of us safe during these uncertain times so I can continue my treatments. I cant praise Heather enough. There should be more people like her. I would recommend Kessler to anyone that needed an exceptional therapist. Kessler is fortunate to have Heather on their team.

I've been with Kessler in Chester for about 8 years now and they have always been greatly accommodating to all my needs! I highly recommend there services! The only thing that I would have liked a lot more would be, when I go in for an appointment that not only are my meds being refilled and vitals checked, but I would like 10-15 minutes spent on checking my injuries, the range of motion... whether it's getting worse or better, if my arthritis is starting to build and maybe help with some basic physical therapy stuff to do at home! I'm only allowed 4 visits a year due to the fact that I'm on a Worker's Comp Claim and in three months I have a lot of muscular issues and joint pain and I really feel that I'm being left out in the cold.... although that's probably more the worker's comp insurance, than it is Kessler! But I'd like my doctor to focus on my problems because SSDI would like updates, even if there's no improvement... I would also like to know!!? Blood pressure check isn't doing anything for my injuries and if I'm getting worse, I want Social Security to know that!!!

The incompetence of the aids cannot be overstated. My 93 y/o, diabetic Grandmother was admitted with a broken shoulder. She was stuck there for just over 1 week. -At no point did they properly clean her; her lower half was COVERED IN FECES AND URINE from the first day of her stay to the last. -They fed this diabetic woman almost pure carbohydrates for every meal. No protein and no fats. -They had her perform +3 hours of PT per day; again, she is 93 and cannot even walk unassisted. The final result is that she came home yesterday. Her blood sugar was over 800 and is not going down. She had to be rushed to RWJ, where they admitted her immediately because her blood sugar is near FATAL! If you care at all about the person requiring PT, you will avoid this place at all costs.

I could not be happier with the services I continue to have at Kessler Outpatient Rehab. Now With Telerehab services I am able to continue receiving services through my phone or computer. My Physical Therapist and Speech Therapist could not be more helpful, positive and encouraging. They are like having my own personal cheerleaders. I am thrilled to have had this opportunity to work with all of these great staff members at Kessler. I can't say enough positive things about the wonderful people I have been fortunate enough to have met here. I would not hesitate to recommend Kessler Outpatient Rehab to anyone! We have had a few therapist do therapy with us. Alyssa was the first to do the assessment I feel that perhaps covered the abilities we could/couldn't do. She was caring and understanding while working with our disabilities to accomplish our therapy.

I've been receiving neuro physical therapy at Kessler's West Orange facility for the past several weeks. My therapist, Dr. Amanda Sylvester, is excellent: Intelligent, knows her stuff, is a good listener, has a passion for her work, and an engaging personality that makes me look forward to my visits.

Kessler is the worst do not take your family members there the nurses dont answer the bell for at least an hour or more .they leave you on the bed pan allday and night. No one checks on you and they have the patients doors closed at nite so they wont hear you calling for them.they are very unprofessional

This is an apology of my judge-mental experience at Kessler. (Two guys walk into a restaurant One guy overweight Other guy skinny They both ordered the same meal which cost the same price The skinny guy gets a big portion from the server The overweight guy get a smaller portion from the same server Both guys get home The overweight guy share his portion with a family of 4 The skinny guy eats barley half his food and throw the rest In the garbage I was there to recover from a stroke I left with a fractured knee and wasn't able to walk. They got paid from insurance but I had an extra bill due to their negligence. Plus all communication is off once your discharged and my AirPod pro were stolen which they refuse to replace. They only care about getting money and rushing you out

My husband John has been receiving OT from Kessler on and off for four years now. We always ask for David O'Brien because we love his patient approach. He genuinely cares about John giving him his undivided attention during his session. He answers any questions we have and provides exercises for us to work on at home. Can't say enough good things about our experience with David.

I am a two time cancer goddess but with issues in my legs and feet. At times very horrible pain and extreme balance issues. There are many people at Kessler who are great (and kind) at their respective jobs. But today I really want to tell you about my PT, Mary Ellen Hadley. She has magic in her hands. Her Soft & gentle touch brings tremendous relief to my legs. MaryEllen always asks a thousand questions to determine the best approach and I appreciate how busy her mind must be as she works so hard to give me relief. She gives me homework which helps me with my precarious balance (I currently am in a cast). And MaryEllen has the biggest heart ever, filled with caring and kindness and best of all; hope and faith.

My relationship with Kessler began with a 12 week inpatient stay following the accident which left me a quadriplegic. They took me from being able to do nothing to be able to do a few things before I went home. Over the past 7 years, they’ve been a regular part of my life with return visits to the outpatient clinic, to the foundation for clinical trials and to the doctors for regular care. Thanks to their efforts, I am able to stand, walk a few steps in a walker, make use of my left hand and my right arm is no longer locked to my body. Doesn’t sound like much… When you can do nothing, anything is an improvement and makes a difference in your life. The common theme in all my experiences is my relationship With the staff. Doctors, PT, OT, nurses and office staff are combined to make my visits successful.

The therapists are good. It’s the staff here that is lazy and careless and you have to bother them every single day if you want something done or else they’ll just have it sitting in their file collecting dust, instead of doing their job. The receptionists don’t answer the phone I had to call 11 times before someone answered. They don’t explain anything to you about your status or updates they just wait for you to get so annoyed that you take it upon your self to do their job for them. Would not recommend Kessler outpatient at ALL. The doctors and therapists are very good and helpful. It’s the staff that gives me a hard time and the outpatient scheduling department that does not care about the patients.

The Kessler Rehabilitation Center is not just for physical therapy, which it is well known for, but it also has and excellent cognitive therapy program as well. I found out about it when my wife's neurologist recommended that she go to Kessler for a driving test! That led to the Neuropsychologist at Kessler diagnosing my wife with Lewy Bodies Dementia. The neurologist provided medication, Kessler provided cognitive therapy with a team of professionals in their cognitive rehabilitation program . This therapy has been and continues to be very helpful.

Kessler rehab particularly the speech department are heads and shoulders above many rehabs I have been associated with. They are compassion, kind and go beyond to help. Their level of expertise is superb and when you add the personal and caring element they employ, that makes them elite. I am so grateful to them for caring for my family member. High praises!!

Kessler in Saddle Brook is a pathetic place. DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE!! Absolutely terrible service. My grandma was sent her for what they first thought was a STROKE and they don’t even have a Neurologist on staff. Everyday we noticed her getting worse but the staff swore she was improving. The staff is incredibly rude and close minded. They don’t listen or care. They were wrong about my grandma’s diagnosis and in denial about her progress. DO NOT GO HERE!

My husband has been going to Kessler for over 5 years. We couldn’t be happier with the staff both as a in patient and out patient. We do PT with the people in the Spinal Cord Injury Dept. We can’t say enough about the staff. We especially want to say Buffy has been our PT person and is especially good with my husband as well as all her patients. She has moved out of state but left a good team. I give them 10 stars ???? we are now working also with the wheelchair clinic and they too are extremely good and talented. The two girls we work are Mary and Mary. Again my husband comes first they have made the transition from a manual to a power chair so easy. They are there for YOU. Thank you Mary and Mary. Wheelchair Clinic also gets 10 ⭐️ Gerry G
