Ahava Medical & Rehabilitation Center Flatbush Brooklyn, NY

Everyone is very pleasant and caring, and I appreciate that. But there is so much socialising between the staff members that they forget there are patients waiting, and makes for a homey but unprofessional atmosphere. The wait was long even though there was only 1 person in front of me. Then, I had both rapid and regular Covid tests. They were very nice and said they didn’t want to keep me there waiting, I should leave and they’d call in 20 minutes. I called back an hour and a half later to get the results and they didn’t know who I was for a while. The regular test was done on Wednesday and the results were still pending on Monday. They said I’d get them later in the day but I never got a call. Meanwhile, I’m missing work while I wait for results. I would not go back there.

Went here to get a covid-19 test and it’s been a week with still no results. Every time i try and call to ask for the results they don’t answer the phone or keep transferring me to a voice mail system. DONT waste your time here no one in the facility was wearing a mask only the patients waiting to get treated. Why go to get tested for corona virus at a place you might pick it up from negligent staff.

Very bad service and the place so dirty .Pool from lower level horrible ,dirty .In addition some much people inside without masks .

Even though the therapists are good, the place is dirty. The sink is filthy the vent in the elevator is extremely full of dirt. I'm nervous every time my son comes here the tables in therapy rooms are dirty and doesn't look it gets cleaned. The floors are filthy.

After going to a couple of other places I finally found a place that is perfect. They have the secret component, they have 'heart', the service is amazing. Especially the general manager (the short bold Jewish guy) he will go out of his way to accommodate request that seem impossible.

This place is the most unprofessional, unkind and just plain rude establishment I have ever encountered. I have only continued going there because one of their doctors, Dr. Liu is absolutely amazing. However, if I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. Their nurses are disgustingly nasty in how they speak to people. I called them to get a refill and the nurse literally just kept saying "you need to come in, you need to come in". I understood that however, she wasn't answering what I was asking. The nurse then hung up on me. When I called back, she hung up on me again. I then asked to speak to the office manager, he quickly answers and says "he doesn't know much of the medical business, he's new". He was equally as rude as the nurse, with repeatedly telling me I needed to come in to see if my condition change...I have a lifelong autoimmune condition that will unfortunately never change. He also did not listen and even tried to justify the nurse hanging up on me. This place is terrible. They treat everyone like they are beneath them. The tones in which they speak to their patients is just plain unacceptable. I rather stay without my medication then ever set foot back in this place. And let's no even get started with the wait times here, never less than a 5 hour wait for a 2 minute Dr. visit. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS. DO NOT GO HERE.

Horrible experience. Even the supervisor was not helpful. I would give zero stars if that was an option. Stay away.

This please is great depending what is it your looking for. Doctor maybe not ... because of the nurse and secretary are the worst . If your looking for profesional therapist and want your child to progress quickly maybe not so much. They do have some great therapist but it takes longer then what a parent with a non verbal autistic child wish the progress will go. Pros : two pools only Con : most times if your not Jew your in the full pool for aquatic therapy. Pros you can have all three therapies in one day . Con :I wish they communicate with each other regarding the progress and what they want to work on with the child . I've been going there for more then a year (again is taking long ) but I haven't found another center for all therapies and a pool for aquatic therapy. I also grown to like some of the therapist here :)

WOW!!!! that's the only word that comes to mind when describing this amazing place. As a medical professional I've been around medical facilities many many times, and Ahava Medical is one of the best establishments in the country. From their multiple spacious gyms, state of the art snoozelyn room, top notch doctors, 2 aqua therapy pools, and above all the amazing service. It's a pleasure to see that old school service is not dead, it's still alive and practiced by their most gracious GM Mr Neumann, he will go above and beyond to make everyone as happy as possible. In short, this is the preferred place for any self respecting patient that's looking for quality, honesty and respect.

If you're looking for a place that cares about people and their recovery this is the place. Great therapists, friendly atmosphere.

i love ahava medical its a very nice place full of life as in doctors meaning as any type of doctor you need they have .i have been a patient at ahava medical since 2010 and still going , great management ,visits are in and out .its also in a very quite neighborhood i would recommend anyone to ahava weather is for children adults or seniors they have it all and transportation 2

What a bad experience!Here are the issues that have seen while I was here: 1) when I walked in occupational therapy patients were coming out and screaming on the top of their lungs. Some of them look like they have may have had autism and down syndrome. I completely understand that part so I wouldn't use that Mr. of the other negative however a couple minutes into being there the administrative staff basically pointing out to each other when a disabled man's pants fell. She was yelling to the other staff to hurry up to come and see. 2)2 of the security guards getting into a verbal altercations that almost god physical. I actually heard one of them hit the wall. 3) Aesthetically this place looks horrible. Comepletly Unmaintained and the configuration is comeplety crazy. 4) the doctor arrived way after his first appointment. The medical assistant claimed at 4 o'clock that the doctor would be seeing you really soon and that they would be sterilizing the room right now. I have to go and ask staff around 4:50 why I still hadn't been seen. I basically walked out around five due to another appointment I had. I didn't even get to see the Dr. Management needs to get a hold of this place. It's complete chaos. This was my first and last time. Do not go! This place is supposed to be for occupational therapy. Do not trust this place with your vulnerable disabled family members. I certainly wouldn't after the show they put on for me today.

This is a horrible place, staff rude , unprofessional doctor and the most dirty place I never knew ....I pray for never coming back again . I give 0 stars This place is unprofessional and dirty not good for persons with disabilities

I love Dr Adler hes the best dr ive seen in my life he takes the time with me instead of seeing me like a paycheck

The staff is great, the facility is always well kept and the clients (especially my Sun) love it!

Great place on the spot medical attention

This is the WORST medical office I have been to! Had an appointment for 11am and an hour later I asked if I was going to be seen and the lady behind the desk said "Oh I'm sorry the doctor hasn't come in yet!" Also the next time I went I waited 1 1/2 hours to be seen and the doctor or nurse didn't even take my vitals. Don't go there they are the WORST!
