Very nice staff who is taking care of our Mom. They go above and beyond to help the families with their loved one. The only thing I would say is for them to get better with access via phone communication. It's hard to reach patients sometimes. Otherwise good experience.

Started working this March as Admissions Director / Clinical Nurse Liaison at Statesman. Can honestly say, after close to 30 years working in Long Term Care, I am excited to be part of this team. I LOVE coming to work everyday due to being surrounded by such amazing folks. I started at the EXACT SAME TIME as COVID 19 Pandemic & cant express the leadership, respect, compassion, support & "All Hands On Deck" approach that I've witnessed ... Making my decision to come work here prove to be the best decision ever.

My mother has been a resident in A-wing at Statesman since mid-April 2019. From day 1 ALL of the staff has been really, really great. Any family with a loved one in nursing care wants nothing more than for that person to be well cared for, attended to, and comfortable. It has taken many months for my mom to heal and stabilize, each and everyone of those days the staff at Statesman have worked to help her through it all. I'm thankful that I don't need to worry anymore, thankful she is safe and in good hands. With that said, I also feel its the family members responsibility to be present, engage the staff and be appreciative for them doing the job you can't do. If you communicate openly and respectfully, your loved one will appreciate it. Thank you to all the staff, keep doing what you are doing to help our loved ones!

Rehab here is good, nice place to stay. My nurses took good care of me, they did a wonderful job in healing my leg. I got stronger and now I am ready to go home! Thank you so much Statesman and I will come back here if I ever need nursing and rehab care in the future.

I worked here as a nurse assistant this past summer and had a great experience. The staff were all very friendly and always willing to accommodate residents. What made it great working here was the willingness of the staff to help each other out. As a nurse assistant there are a lot of tasks that are easier when people work together and people here were always willing to do so. Additionally, the management in the building was very keen on constant improvements. Everyday we would have morning meetings and they would pick one topic for us to work on improving. Overall I made many great connections with both the staff and residents and would have stayed there if I didn’t have to go back to school at Penn State.

Overall, nurses are really nice, friendly and helpful. Dietary and Therapy staff are good, helpful. Overall, the food is good, decent depending on my likes and dislikes. Hamburger and beef dishes are REALLY GOOD! They do a good job at housekeeping. I'm happy.

I am a volunteer here with more than 8 years of service. I love being here to help the residents. Everyone is nice to me and the residents I help. The Administrator has a nice way about her. I enjoy helping the Activity Director out. If she needs me, I'm there!

The therapy department is very attentive, professional, organized. They went above and beyond their care to make sure all my needs were met. Other facilities kept me until my insurance ran out. Statesmen gave me the support and help I needed to get me back on my feet in a very short time. They worked very hard to make sure I was ready to go home!

My good friend George was at Statesman for rehab after a severe infection that almost took his life. He was sent to the city where he spent several weeks in ICU on a ventilator. Once the ventilator was stopped at the hospital, he transfered to Statesman for care. He could not even stand , let alone walk. But the nurses & therapists set realistic goals, kept frequent communication with his family, kept him motivated and encouraged. He was discharged back home Indepenent in May, back to his prior baseline. The nurses & therapy were awesome.

"I wish I could give 10 stars." I live here at Statesman and I'm treated nice. The staff is friendly and caring and honor my preferences. The food is good and I enjoy my meals. My room is kept clean by Lexi. She's a "beautiful child," polite, helpful and cleans good.

This is good place to work at! I have been a PT for 13 years and having been to lots of nursing homes and rehab facilities, this place is special to me. The rehab and nursing teams click with each other and that says a lot about this place in order to provide the best care possible for our patients. The administrator always listens to your needs or concerns. You just know that she cares for your total well being and not just push people to working more hours and be stressed out. Is this a perfect place? No, there's no perfect place, rather a place where we treat each other like family, learn from our mistakes and make it better, and strive for excellence in all that we do each and every day!

Very good experience overall. My mother had dementia and we were taking care of her at our home. But there came a time when we needed a break so we took her to Statesman Nursing and Rehab in Levittown, Pa. for a respite stay. We had her stay for a week and all the staff were so friendly, professional, courteous and caring that it made my wife and i feel that mom was safe and getting the same loving care she received at home. We had brought her back two more times for respite stays after that with the same satisfying results. Since then she has passed on. I would recommend Statesman to everyone.

Therapy does a great job! I was very sick when I came in and was not strong enough to do everything I wanted. I was in bed for months before coming here. Therapy was able to come to my room and help make me stronger, now I can go down to therapy and walk thanks to their hard work pushing me.

I love this facility! I needed therapy so I decided to come here, they all treat me good. Rehab was tough because of my prosthetic leg but they did not give up on me and now I can walk again without any assistive device! Nurses are friendly and they attend to my needs. Thanks to all that work here!

Went to visit mom, was in town for a week. Not once did I show up and she not need to be changed. So every time I saw her she was wet. She also had bed sores. Help commented that this never happens. It appeared to be how they operate. I'd give it negative 5 if it was an option. Do not send your loved ones to this place if you love them

Statesmans Rehabilitation Center. I just want to leave a note of thanks for some of the work that the rehab center has helped me with over the last 8 months. Especially a gentleman by the name of Anthony with his help I'm moving my Leg for the first time in Almost a year. he has such a great bedside manner Knowing just what to say, to make you try harder. I also want to mention Maryanne, Tousie, Jennifer an Earl They don't have a lot of the fancy equipment that would make it easier to work with people, but they try there best. Thanks Art

They are short staffed which is the biggest problem. Most of the staff is excellent with my Mother and very very good at what they do. They genuinely seem to care about the residents despite the restraints that the owners(Saber)place upon them with staff and supplies.

Lazy staff that ignores patient needs. When brought to their attention tell you what you want to here. Elderly that don't have long to live should not being laying in soaked diapers, yelled at and ignored by people that get paid good money to take care of. Ridiculous should have inspectors that regularly monitoring the nonsense that goes on at these places.

I have been here for 11 1/2 hours with my mom Bed side , and in the 11 1/2 hours my mom has yet to revive any medicine.. I keep on asking them for it and I been told the same answer, it’s on it’s way ... “ on its way “ for 11 1/2 I could driving my self to go get it and bring it back ...THIS IS TOTALLY UNEXPLAINABLE to any one !! I am trying to have my mom removed form this place , and taken to a different place ... I have seen homeless people have better service then this !!

I started here a few months ago, and I was quite nervous starting a new job after all these years, but after my first day, I felt like I already made new friends. It was great, management, nurses, CNA's, kitchen crew, all made me feel like I've worked here for years. I've really gotten close to the nurses and CNA's. I feel like I'm part of a team again, and it feels good. If you're looking for a job, close to home, great team of employees, management that listens & cares, come on over and join our team!

From the moment I walk through the door, I have a good experience. I am here nearly every day for my husband. The building is clean and has no odors. I feel like family with many of the staff, other residents and their families. Rachel in admissions is very helpful. Flo, Daniejela and Amber are great CNAs with excellent caregiving. My husband's nurses are good and so is his hospice care. Activities is excellent. My husband goes to Activities daily and has coffee and is kept engaged by the morning offerings. Valentine's Day was especially nice at Statesman. Besides a Valentine's Party for everyone, they had set up one of the lounges for couples to enjoy a romantic meal together. It meant everything to both of us. I have recommended Statesman to some of my neighbors and others because of the care and attention my husband (and I) receive here.

Having worked in Long Term Care for over 15 years I must say Statesman Health & Rehab Center is the most friendly, family oriented facility I have worked at. Seeing residents come in after a hospital stay unable to care for themselves then after receiving Rehabilitation they are ready to return to their independence at home. It's very rewarding what we do here. For our Long Term residents Statesman provides a variety of fun filled activities and entertainment. This is a down home kind of place that our long term residents like to call their forever home!!!

My 27 year daughter was sent here for medical/ physical rehabilitation therapy from Temple Hospital after a hit and run that left her with a shattered pelvic and 2 surgeries. From the beginning of her stay everyone was very welcoming and concerned not only for her care, but the fact that my daughter was young. They found different ways to make her stay there a very happy one. The nursing staff are very nice and helpful . Specially Marie LPN and Harrison RN. There were issues that arise (none that were major) but when we spoke to upper management they corrected them. The facility is very clean. The physical therapist Clarisa and Sochi, occupational therapist Sam and Taylor are the best, they encouraged her everyday and more. The concierge Naomi was so attentive to all my daughters needs. The office staff are very friendly and very helpful. They kept me informed with everything from the stay to the point of discharged. They handle all care and equipment needed to go home. Mr James thank you for the transportation service to and from the hospital. Mike thank you for assistance with any maintenance issues. I would like to thank everyone for the wonderful care and understanding they provided my daughter, also for allowing me to stay with her overnight for the entire month she was at the facility. We will miss you all, but we plan to volunteer and visit. Thank from Priscilla and family!

My mother is currently residing at this facility. Overall, the housekeeping staff does a good job of keeping the facility clean and comfortable for the residents. They also provide a variety of activities for the residents. Any problems with my mother's care have been resolved by the staff and administration.

As a former employee at this facility, I can say that the care given and shown by the staff is exceptional. The administration team is always available to the clients and their families. They take every concern very seriously and work extremely hard to resolve the concerns in a timely manner. The nursing staff treat the clients like family, taking true interest in their care and in their recovery. I have watched the rehab team take a young man on a vent and tube feeding who most felt that was as good as he was going to get and work diligently with his program. That young man walked out of the facility on his own accord and is living a productive life with his family at home. If you truly want a place to have your family member cared for, then statesman is the place to go.

My father-in-law has been here since 12/2017. It looks all beat up but actually they do a really good job keeping up with the facility. It is always clean or in the process of being cleaned. The care is also great. The people are always friendly & helpful plus they treat him with respect & go out of their way to get him things he needs. When we asked him if he wanted to go somewhere else he told us flat out the only other place he wanted to go was home. He is in A wing & those people are fantastic. I have never heard a complaint about the facility or the employees walking around not smiling even the cleaning crews, and they can get some messes. It might not be the prettiest facility but the people who work there make it a great place for the residents.

I volunteer here regularly as Santa Claus and my son volunteers as the Easter Bunny. We enjoy making the residents happy. I also help out in the Activity department at other times. We love the residents here and what the staff does for them. We see that they are treated like family.

This facility is absolutely horrendous! Horrible service, rude & unfriendly staff, rooms are not cleaned regularly. The smell of urine is extremely strong in the room and overflows into the hallways. My father was only in this facility for 5 days and if I had any control he wouldn't have been in there for 5 minutes! Absolute horrible experience!

We had a relative move into Statesman in late summer 2017and still resides at the facility. We were apprehensive about selecting Statesman based on previous reviews, but the location allowed us frequent visits to monitor care. In order to truly provide an objective review, we believe you need to ask yourself : “do I want anyone in my family in a nursing home at all?” Most of us are very skeptical about that life changing event because of rumors and bad reviews on the facilities. However, no one can provide the best care for a family member other than another family member and that means being dedicated to sacrificing a certain lifestyle amongst other things for an undetermined period of time. Our initial struggles over the first seven months with the facility were the inconsistencies in care among all the shifts, the quality of the people caring for our family member, and the general “ambience” of the facility. However, since the facility was taken over by Saber coupled with the facility manager taking a very dedicated approach to changing the culture and perceptions of the facility, we are pleased with the changes. The consistency between the shifts has stabilized, the quality of the personnel has changed to a more caring and attentive staff, and the cleanliness of the facility has improved. Let’s face it – care for any resident is a partnership between the family and the facility. That team needs to be focused on and implementing the same care plan for their loved one. We can say that the changes made have us believing that we are more of a team now than before. Make no mistake that work still remains to be done, but they are on the right path to establishing a better organizational culture. The respiratory staff has provided excellent care from the very beginning. The new physical therapy staff is more responsive and attentive. The new group of RNs and CNAs merged nicely with those who remained during the transition to the Saber Health Group. You can see the conscious effort to change Statesman to a place where better care and living conditions for the residents is the primary focus. Each resident has their own personal care needs and you need to remember that it is a partnership and not a substitute for the care a family could provide.

I was a patent here. After a long time in ICU I was transferred here on a ventilator. I spent about seven weeks working my way back. Statesman is full of kind, caring professionals. The respiratory personnel were fantastic. They stayed and helped and checked on me and explained so many things. Almost everyone in PT and OT gave full effort and kindness and patience. Theresa was amazing and Chester really listened and directed well. The food was usually good and the cook, staff and servers were friendly and helpful. The activity persons were kind and fun and tried to involve everyone. The facility was not new but it was cleaned and the facilities manager was top notch. The dining room and lounge and grounds were pleasant. The nurses were good, most very much cared. I felt like they were mostly overburdened but trying hard. Some of the CRNs were amazing, most of them were helpful. There are always a few bad apples but they were by far, not the norm and management seemed to work hard on issues once noticed. This place felt ver much like a family, people went out of their way, even the laundry personnel. Some of these jobs are difficult and thankless. I walked out on my own two feet. See for yourself. I largely had a good experience but it's not fun to be working hard in a rehab. This one worked for me!

On March 21st my mother, Dolores Olsen was sent to your facility, she arrived at 11:30 a.m. and was already working with PT & OT ,your rehab facility didn't hesitate to get her up and walking, standing, working with her hands & building up her strength...we hit a few bumps , but nothing that wasn't resolved! A BIG thank you to Cindy and Ty for addressing any issues we had, both made my mother fell comfortable during her stay!!!! The staff& employees were nice,One Aide in particular needs recognition, "ROSA" she went above and beyond in comforting my mother whenever her anxiety got the best of her...we need 10 more like her!!! We were always greeted with a smile. The cooks were amazing, my mother had no problem with any meals, she said they were made to perfection!!! Thank you again to each and everyone at Statesman, job well done! Dolores Hillgrube

I truly enjoy working with the staff and residents at Statesman and have been here nearly 13 years. The staff is caring and we work as a team. I'm the Activity Director here and planning and participating in events and activities with our residents is extremely fulfilling and rewarding. We keep it as "homey" as possible. We have Bingo 3-4 times a week, arts and crafts, cooking, entertainers, special events, birthday parties and monthly outings. Recently we had a wedding vow renewal for 4 of our residents and their spouses complete with a wedding reception. Residents, staff, families and friends were all in attendance. It was beautiful. Just this past weekend we toured PHS prior to their "Yo, Philly" prom. Another hit with our residents. The building looks especially festive right now with our "Spirit of America" decorations up. We are a community-based organization and work with many from the community. We work with BCTHS and other local schools, local Senior Centers, Queen of the Universe Church and other local churches, Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts to name a few. This is my "home away from home."

Statesman----my second family. There is a reason that I (and several other employees) have worked at this facility for 20+ years.......It's the wonderful patients, family members and employees that I interact with daily. There is something to be said for the complexity of patients we care for at this facility. Many patients come to us from out of town because no other facility can address their needs. I am so proud to be a part of the Rehabilitation Department as I have seen several patients who were admitted on a ventilator unable to walk, speak, eat or care for themselves, walk out of here breathing on their own, eating by mouth, speaking and gaining independence again. I've seen our Respiratory Therapy Department wean patients from the ventilator who were deemed "unweanable". Lastly, and most importantly, I've seen the relationships that have developed between the staff and the patient's, as well as their family members, that make our atmosphere extra special, homey, loving, and fun.
