Had a lovely meal of the half chicken,thick chunky chips and meringue with raspberries, raspberry coulis and ice cream.lovely atmosphere,you can still have a conversation without music blasting out in the background.chicken could have been a bit hotter but otherwise very good.????????.

Really great steak house even with good veggie options the staff are really friendly and helpful worth coming out of central brighton to visit great atmosphere and reasonable prices the only bug bear I have is the "optional tip" added to the bill, unless you are aware of it at the bottom of the bill you will be charged an extra 10% on top of the cost of your meal - you have to specify that you don't wish to pay it which in my opinion is a very awkward position to put a customer in.

It's been a long time since me and my partner have visited old bank and it's great to see it back to how amazing it was. The food was faultless and great value for money. The wings were the highlight along with the generous portion of halloumi my partner had for her mains. HOWEVER as good as this all was. It was the service we received from our waitress Zoe on October the 19th which made the meal. We were greeted to a warm welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Her suggestions on the menu when asked were spot on. Perfect service which management should be proud of!

A steak and ribs restaurant. Both the steak and ribs we had were very good.
Therefore it is doing everything it's set out to do. Bravo.
Staff were also very good, friendly and personable and service was swift without feeling rushed.
Well worth checking out.

The staff are very friendly, the atmosphere is good. But unfortunately it seems I was more excited than I should have been. Got the ribs and rump combo... Not amazing tbh. Ribs were fairly dry and bland, half of the steak was great, the other half tough. The chips were very very greasy. Maybe I came at a bad time(early on a Friday night), maybe they used to be a lot better. Was expecting more.

First and last time eating here. But firstly I would like to say that the staff are the only thing going for this place they were lovely, my steak came out as tough as a flip flop (ordered medium) was then given a second steak and cut it open and it was rare maybe even blue and I probably could of dealt with it if I had some peppercorn sauce to wash it down but i received a cold tasteless pot of what looked like dishwater. If I could put no stars I would but you can at least have one.

Was ok, when deal arrived, ribs, we were two girls we wern't going to eat them out of ribs, i was disapointed by the minuscule amount of coleslaw we recieved, described as a side, i asked may we have a bit more, oh yes certainly, he seemed to agree that it was small when i mentioned it was meant to be a side. Another small amount of coleslaw arrived, we ate. Bill arrived, they charged for a full cost portion, my friend requested i didn't say anything, then proceeded to complain about on way home when I'd paid. With hind site I should have said. Restaurant was filthy, we sat by window which was especially filthy. Average food, wouldnt ever go again.

Had lunch here and was very very disappointed. Had been planning to come for years, as I love ribs and heard some positive reviews, so was very surprised at the poor quality of the food. The ribs were simply not of a very high quality; quite watery and literally no flavour. I had a full rack and left half which really doesn't bode well. Even the sauce, which was very mediocre, couldn't bring them to life. The chips were odd to say the least and the coleslaw was a terrible salty flavourless bowl of cabbage. We also tried the steak, medium rare and again found the meat to be of poor quality; chewy and flavourless. Very disappointing. I really can't understand why many restaurants don't take pride in their food.

Nice place, good steak. I'd have the rib-eye my wife ordered over the t-bone next time. Both were a little over-seasoned with salt but otherwise delicious!
