Beautiful location with friendly waitstaff. If you're looking for a good burger, the H&W Burger won't disappoint. I don't know what "triple cooked" means as applied to chips, but you want them. If you're not looking for a mean, the pub has a nice atmosphere, and the garden is enjoyable.

Amazing old Pub that looks quite out of place in a urban setting. The Food is amazing and really tasty . The Beer gardens are lovely with chairs to relax on, it is very peaceful you could easily forget you are not in Portslade. Just a beautiful old pub with gorgeous food , drink and surroundings , 5 stars.

Very good place have good food a bit over prices , but it will be balance by the position, big beer garden , it is good for party , very instoriical. the staff fabulous., With it is own parking lot. Dogs friendly, child friendly.

I asked for 2 burgers and chips for children. They came with a relish already added that the kids wouldn't eat. I asked for two burgers without relish to replace the ones for the kids and got two full meals again.

I like the Manor but for a long time the bar area is too small for the size of the place. In the summer the garden is great and the food is nice. But as with many now £3 for a cola is a bit excessive.

Hangleton Manor is s lovely place for a family celebration, Food and service was excellent and nice atmosphere, we kept Louise on her toes for the evening and with 20 of us to serve this was a task on its own! but this did not hinder her she was very well organised,polite and helpful. I would recommend this place to others.

Good pub but on the small side inside, a lot of it is given over to their restaurant now which is nice but not cheap. Definitely gastropub food and prices. The outside area is nice to sit and have a drink though as long as the British weather gives you the opportunity, but if you want to sit inside there are not a lot of seats.

The food took ages to arrive. When it did it was mediocre.
In the dining room there was paint peeling off the wall! Finally there was no light in the ladies toilet.

5 stars for the building and beer garden. Stubbled across Hangleton Manor whilst on a mission in the 'burbs. Who knew there would be a 15th century manor house and outbuildings in the middle of a 1930s suburb?! I hear good things about the pub's Sunday roasts, will have to go back and eat.
