Probably the most chilled out bar on West Street, generally a nice crowd and a good warm vibe. Usually a live musician playing which is nice, drinks aren't that expensive by local standards, wide range available.

Lively bar with excellent music. Don't expect to find a seat as there is limited benches. Drinks quite expensive but great atmosphere makes up for it.

Standard Irish themed pub with a varied selection of lagers and spirits. Has live music eveynight and is open until 4am on the weekends. Early on in the evening was fairly quiet, but by 9pm it got really busy. Standard bar prices apply.

Unfortally last night i decided to go here. Im a 31 year old women.! I had around 3 drinks in total. I Wouldnt even say i was tipsy. To my horror while im dancing and laffing having fun i get this young girl a member staff walk up to me very rudely told me to stop drinking or ill have to leave!!! . I was so confused and embarrassed. I've never had this happen to me in my life and i understand sometimes they may well have to do that to drunk people that are being aggressive. But me i litually just looked at her with shock . I won't be going back . !

Usually great, went in on a Wednesday evening, around 9pm with 2 friends, all of us late 20s. We were refused service at the almost empty pub because of a "challenge 30" rule the barmaid told us, and without very much curtisy. 2 of us had ID, the other, straight from work and clearly older than 25 didn't. Bordering on the ridiculous really, we just fancied a social pint between friends. Certainly will not be back with that attitude.

Nice atmosphere and a separate gin menu which offers a small selection of various gins and tonic water. The live music was a bit loud at times, but apparently there is another more quiet area downstairs.
Overall very pleasant experience. :)

I'm sitting in the pub opposite Molly Malones spending my money in this bar instead as my wife and I (in our late 30s) where ID'ed here. One of us had ID. We could have completley worked this out and happily enjoyed a drink here, but the bar ladies attitude to us was so rude and unjustified I just had to leave before getting into an argument. I'm not surprised the only other punters in on this Thursday early eve were in their 60s. Rude and unnecessary attitude, such a shame.
