Went to see a GP about having a blocked ear (was struggling to hear properly and even function normally) and he mentioned about clinics that do it privately (instead of having to wait). Booked an appointment (very quick!) and had the issue resolved! I'm so thankful to have found that these types of places exist as I've had ear wax problems previously. Thank you.

Booking the appointment very smooth, short waiting time in the reception area, , the specialist was friendly, clear and the test itself fairly effortless; No pressure to persue private solutions- the Private/NHS alternatives clearly explained; the only slight negative was that I didnt leave with my results, it wasnt mentioned whether these were to be sent on by e-mail ( unless i didnt hear that bit!)- chased by phone following day and to be fair they were sent immediately. Good service.

I suffered with blocked ears and tinnitus for about 6 months during lockdown; it was impossible to get to see a GP. I found these guys, super friendly and helpful, made an appointment within a few hours and they fixed everything in 15 mins. Awesome and highly recommend them.

Such a good, positive experience. I took my apprehensive 15yr old along as he has been unable to hear out of one ear for a while. Kristina was reassuring and made him feel safe. The procedure was quick and he said it didn’t hurt. Kristina and the receptionists were all lovely I highly recommend it. Everything was spotlessly clean and well organised. I have a very happy son who can hear again. Thank you

I am always happy and satisfied with the treatment I received from Hearology. I have been about 5 times to have microsuction especially now that I cannot attend the outpatient ENT microsuction for my ear at St Thomas Hospital because of the pandemic Covid-19.

First time going to this clinic for Microsuction and I cannot praise it enough!! Excellent value for money and I love that you get a free follow up if the first appointment couldn't be completed. Excellent and very professional service. I will definately be coming back. I need regular Microsuction and as my local hospital ENT department is closed, I found this clinic to carry it out for me. They did an excellent job and cleared my ears so well that I could 'hear my hair grow'. Although it was confirmed I have an ear infection, once they were cleaned I felt so much better. The discomfort from the pressure build up went away and it was a great relief to hear properly again. I highly recommend this clinic to everyone needing Microsuction

Highly impressed with Hearology. I had lost my hearing in my right ear for nearly 2 weeks and was extremely miserable and in pain, practically unable to function. My GP wasn't taking it seriously so I decided to seek help elsewhere. I did a lot of research into different Audiologists and decided that Hearology seemed the most reputable based on the company's modern website, transparent pricing/information and multiple 5 star reviews.
The booking process was straightforward and the receptionists at Hearology were friendly. Dylan (who cleared my ears) was calm and efficient, which put me at ease during the microsuction procedure. It was painless and lasted about 10 minutes. Once the procedure was over, my ear was finally unblocked and my hearing feels better than ever!

I just had both my ears checked today, very happy that there was no issues as the state of the art equipment would clearly show deep down of your ear canals. I had my ear infected and I couldn’t hear at all. I couldn’t wait for my GP as I needed something urgent. Thank god I found Hearology and all their staff! Stephen was fantastic, he is professional and made me really comfortable with a service that I never had to use before! And last but not least, I thought I was going to spend all of my money, but their price is the best!

This is an absolutely brilliant clinic! I've had ongoing problems with excess wax blocking my hearing over many years. The GP used to tell me to put 2 or 3 drops of olive oil in twice a day for 5 days before syringing or ear irrigation, but that has now changed to having to soak each ear with oil twice a day for a whole 2 weeks beforehand. Can you imagine how messy that is? Also, the oil makes your hearing temporarily worse, so you may be totally deaf in one or both ears for 2 weeks before the appointment!
So I decided to look elsewhere. I tried Specsavers for their version of microsuction, they only charge £55 to have both ears unblocked and are also just down the road. However, they don't guarantee to get it all out and I didn't feel that the nurse was all that confident with the procedure, it caused me some pain and they couldn't get it all out, so I had to rebook and pay another £55. Also you still have to put drops in 5 days before.
Now my ears were blocked up again only 6 months after my Specsavers visit. So I did a lot of Googling for such terms as 'ear wax removal without drops' and came up with Hearology. It looked too good to be true. £80 for both ears and a free follow-up visit if not all the wax is removed first time. Best of all, no drops required! Also, by booking online I could get an appointment next day - there must be something wrong with them if it's this easy to book! However, by now I was feeling completely fed up with my ear wax problem, so I thought, why not, I may lose £80, but you never know, it might just work and anyway, what other option did I have?
I have to say my experience with them was brilliant from start to finish. I was given a mask and gloves, so they're got all the right Covid procedures. I was ushered into the treatment room and my audiologist, Vincent (in full PPE) was fantastic. He got me to lie down on a couch, in itself a vast improvement over the upright chairs at both the GP and Specsavers, and then used a specially mounted 3D microscope so he could really see what he was doing. (Specsavers only use magnifying goggles.) He had no trouble in getting all the wax out of both ears along with some dead skin that was clogging up my ear passages. A bit of noise from the suction, but absolutely no pain at all. Kept me informed throughout. The whole procedure took about 15 minutes for both ears. Moreover, received some excellent after-care advice. No more drops - they'll only make my ears blocked up sooner! Don't try to clean your ears with soap or shampoo - it'll only encourage more wax!
I can't recommend them highly enough. The wax will build up again (that's just the way it is), but if I leave well alone it may not be for another year, and I'm so happy I can just go back whenever I need them again.

Professional service. Had microsuction done due to overwhelming blockage and earache. The specialist was also helpful in providing basic ear care tips. Shame they don’t do microsuction only on one ear as the service is a flat rate package for both ears. Would otherwise be cheaper. I qualified for a discount though, so good to check eligibility.

This is the first time I’ve used a microsuction service for my ears.
The procedure is fantastic! Within minutes your ears are clean and you have pinpoint hearing again.
The service however was poor, hence the two stars.
Firstly, from reception up to seeing the specialist is very impersonal.
Secondly, the specialist charged me £80, rather than £40. The cost as per their website states £40 per ear. I only had one ear treated.
It’s a shame that they took advantage of a ‘new’ customer. One who will no longer return.

Excellent service. I booked online yesterday and didn't get a confirmation so rang the 'hotline'. A very helpful person made sure I was booked in and within 5 minutes I had SMS and email confirmations. Arrived this morning and was greeted by a very plesant receptionist who directed me to a waiting area. A few minutes later, with Covid precautions (mask and gloves), I was directed to the audiology rooms. Simon the audiologist introduced himself and after hearing of what my problem was showed me his equipment and explained the procedure he would be carrying out. At all times during the procedure he explained what he was doing and kept enquiring as to my comfort. After 15 minutes, all was resolved and my hearing is back to normal. Thanks guys. I'll definitely come back here if I need any other audiological services.

I have found Hearology to be reliable and good in terms of being helpful and committed. I have not found Widex hearing aids to be very good, and the sound quality is not as good as other hearing aids that I have that are perhaps older in style and maybe more old fashioned. My work involves hearing people and I need to have two pair of hearing aids in case one fails at any time, so I needed to buy a second pair. I certainly would not recommend Widex because I don't like the quality of sound that I experience from them. I wish my experience were better.

Roughly every two years I have a problem with my right ear, despite using warm olive oil and ear drops, I always end up having to go to my GP to get them syringed. Unfortunately because of the Pandemic I was unable to get an appointment so started to look for an alternative solution, by the time I discovered Hearology I was completely deaf in my right ear and was getting severe headaches, thankfully they had appointments on a Saturday and at a time that was convenient to me. I was booked in within minutes and received updates throughout the week to remind me of my appointment. On the day I was given a temperature check upon walking into the building and then shown into a waiting area with plenty of sanitizer. I was called through at the time of my appointment and was asked to read and sign a consent form once that was done I was given instructions on where to go and had literally just sat down in the waiting room when a door opened and Vincent called me into the room. He explained the whole procedure and asked permission to examine both of my ears, he informed me that the right ear was completely blocked so would start the cleaning process and then talked me through what he was going to do, putting me completely at ease. The whole process was a little painful and a little uncomfortable but it was all over in about 15 minutes and I was so so happy with the final outcome. £80.00 well spent and I would highly recommend the process to anyone in need of a clean or unblocking. Vincent was extremely kind and gentle, he explained everything to me before and during the process and was very professional. 5 Stars from me.

I was having a nightmare with my ears after getting water stuck in them. I first saw Kristyna who managed to get most of the wax out and then a follow up appointment with Dylan who got the rest out for me in a really horrible tricky place. Both were gentle & kind which was in some areas quite uncomfortable. I honesly could not reccomend seeing these guys more, i was in such pain and discomfort and now i feel good as new! £80 + free follow up appointment(s) is a no brainer! Thank you so much guys i will 100% be back!

Highly impressed with this service. I had an appointment with Dylan for a full hearing test. It was very thorough and he was able to assure me that my hearing is fine. I had had a test at another retailer and did not feel confident about the results. The Hearology test was much more detailed and Dylan explained the results very clearly. I highly recommend Hearology for a hearing test - I'm so glad I went.
