Awful service from Agnes. Returned a sports bra with a broken strap. She was adamant that it could not be returned because it was over the 30 day return period. Had to ring customer services from inside the store who agreed it could be returned in store. She then proceeded to have an argument with them on the phone!! Was in there over an hour to return a £14 bra?!
Ludicrous.... some people should NOT work in retail.

Convenient Argos very near Brixton underground station, though not very many checkout kiosks, so lines can get long. The staff are very friendly and helpful, though.

They are maintaining social distancing measures although not all consumers wear masks. Only a small number allowed in at a time, most people understanding that they have to queue. Pickups and returns can jump the queue (depending on how many are already in the shop) if they speak to the man on the door.

I went to Argos to order a number of items. The girl at the till mistakenly only looked up the items at the front of the paper. Only 1 was in stock. It was only when another girl brought the item out I realised this.
I proceeded to explain that I need to see the other items. The lady that initially served me had left the shop floor. The lady that showed me the item lied and said she only showed me one item to “be nice”. And that they were not supposed to show items to people due to COVID. I knew this was a lie because the girl at the till said I can view bout not touch.
When I asked about their policy on returned items that people have taken home and brought back to the store she said people can still return items just as normal. This doesn’t even make any sense.
The problem I have is with the girl who showed me the item. She was rude. She was gazing at me from afar while I was at the catalogue stand. I was in there for an hour. When she realised I saw her watching me, she sent someone over to ask if I need help. But also when she showed me the item she got really impatient. She was clearly reluctant to help me further as there was about 20 mins before closing.
There were a list of things I was going to buy, but I could tell she was doing everything possible to get out of actually doing her job so I left. She was making up all the excuses to get out of solving the issue.
I've been inconvenienced which is why I’m giving this rating. This happened yesterday, Tuesday evening -a small Mexican looking girl. The other two girls I dealt with were pleasant and helpful and listened to me, the last one was just ignorant. She had no customer service skills or common sense.

Very popular local Argos. Fast service, friendly staff who explain the shop policies, especially the sales return service. And even helpful security who show you how to use the self-service ordering machines! Lots of pencils and order slips everywhere..thick plasticised catalogues..what more could one ask for!

I love shopping at Argos
I have been a loyal customer with Argos for over 20 years, and have never had any problems with the products or prices that they offer.
The ingenious solution in solving Shop Pilfering by keeping the goods in the back of the shop, is quite simply a fantastic idea, that will probably be used by more retailers in the next few years. I believe this is probably why they can keep there prices so low, and also offer great product promotions at the same time.
If you want value for money, then Argos is the place to be.

Staff service is a bit hit and miss - one day you'll be served really quickly and efficiently, the next you'll be lumped with someone who doesn't seem to know up from down and moves at a snail's pace, very annoying. I try not to go in here unless I really have to...

I really love shopping at Argos because their service is just impressive. The staff at brixton are really incredible always smiling and very cheerful and always make you feel good just taking to them because they all display such wonderful customer service. Dispite the store getting very crowded with people ordering and waiting to collect their order the staff work really fast to get the customers order quickly and does so with such Grace.
