Really no help or advice from the pharmacists. Often when people seek information from the pharmacist they are deperate for help and good advice. I did not find this here and wasted a lot of money trying to figure out what medication would be helpful to me myself. The pharmacist simply indicated to me a section to look rather then advise me on my ailment. Very unhappy with the service.

Fairly good range of products and it is nice that you can earn points as you make your purchases with their Boots card. It can be a little more expensive than other places but if you take advantage of their offers like 3 for the price of 2, you can make some savings that way. They have some nice gift idea items.

First of all, I feel it's important to note that I am a big supporter of limiting the amount of people in stores and therefore waiting is definitely not an issue for me, but I feels it's important that everyone working in the store is aware of the store policy. I was standing in line probably about 20min (again this is not an issue ). A security guard at the entrance is telling people when they can go in (makes complete sense). Later another security guard comes and tells people in the queue that it's "One out, one In" so we can go in when somebody comes out (again, this makes sense too) . After waiting a while longer, I am next in line and see a person leave, so I do like the people before me and walk in. Almost immediately I get a hand in my face telling me to wait until I am called. I apologise and just go back to my place. A third employee comes to the door and tells me to go in, so I go. I must have been in the store for 30sec when the first security guard comes up (not even given me 3 feet of space, so no social distancing) and asks what I am doing and who let me in. I calmly tell him the young woman in the door told me to come in. He is clearly annoyed with me and I ask him what the problem is and at this point the young woman in the door confirms that she told me to go in. The security guard gets closer to me and angrily tells me that there are too many people in the store. I get so uncomfortable, both from not being given enough personal space, but also from being made a problem, when all I did was do exactly as I was told. I was very disappointed with the way I was treated and I think this Boots needs to make it clear to all its employees what the policy is for customers in the store, so not to make customers the issue.

My 84 year old mum has cancer yesterday she went there with her latest prescription to collect her medication the most important item being morphine for the pain ,when she got home guess what NO morphine ,she went back there today only to be told they had none!! Why couldn't they tell her that yesterday instead of sending her home thinking she had everything. Had to go to a different none boots Chemist and GOT her morphine.

I collect my prescriptions here, which include Controlled drugs, I always give them a few days to fill my script as it's rather large. The pharmacists are very friendly and knowledgeable, and polite, unlike another pharmacy that I used to go to. I'd highly recommend the pharmacy. I've not bought anything from the main shop, but the staff are friendly and seem to complete sales very fast.

Lovely big branch of boots with a massive product range, staff are informed and helpful and choice is extensive. Can get busy so waiting to pay can be a while at peaks but I've always liked that you can park at Morrison's and get to boots as well to do that top up you need at Boots . Good branch good staff.

Medium sized, it has a good variety of products. It's not easy to find everything, but the staff is helpful. This if you can get them: most of the time they are very busy. Better to get there as soon as it opens in the morning.

I had the unfortunate experience of trying to buy essentials at this store close to closing time a few days after the birth of my first child three weeks ago. The staff closed the store 5 minutes before the advertised closing time and proceeded to hound the customers (myself included) who were inside. When I eventually came to pay (at 19:03, just 3 minutes after closing) the person serving me was incredibly rude, complained about how I was making him late to leave, and rushed me out of the store so fast I ended up leaving one of the items I'd paid for on the till. It's a shame, as they have a large selection of baby items, but I'll be avoiding this place until the store manager is replaced by someone who has at least heard of customer service. I suggest you avoid it too.

I have a prescription with the "on repeat", it means that for permanent medications, they contact the surgery to send the prescription and theoretically they just have to call me for pick up, to make my life easier!...It has been 3 years now and I pick up my medication every 3 months, they have not got it on even once!!! every time I have to realize that I am out of medication, call them and they come up with an excuse why I did not get my medicine on time! totally UNRELIABL!!

Tried to return an unused unwanted gift. I had the receipt from a few weeks ago and every piece inside was intact and individually wrapped, bar an exterior bag, that was open. I explained it was unused and that I hadn't opened the exterior bag. Lady gave me a hard time about it, and said if I could get the person who gave me the gift to come in and confirm they hadn't opened the bag, she could possibly do an exchange/voucher, but otherwise I was stuck with it. Then proceeded to ignore me. Went to another branch 30 minutes later, and they exchanged it for another item without question!? Rude and unhelpful service versus efficient and pleasant service - I know which branch I'll be visiting in future.

Full of medicines and beauty related products. I do not put 5 stars because they are a bit slow in the service. The reason for this is that every prescription needs to be checked by a single pharmacist. I do not know whether this is mandated by the law, but adding a further farmacista would speed up things significantly.

you always have a long wait for your prescription and most of the time they get it wrong or they don't have what you need so you end up having to go back the next day and get what you need if you're lucky.the last time I went and bought what I needed as they never got it 4 days later and I nearly ended up in hospital because they left me with out my meds.they phoned me on the 6 day to say they had it but when l went to get it,it turns out it was the wrong medicine.i will never use them again they are shockerly bad

Staff very pleasant and helpful. This is not a particularly big branch of boots so the range of choice is small. Dispensary is understaffed and overworked. Their "sms when ready for collection" service has sent me messages for non-existent pickups on 3 occasions within the last 6 months. Also, it takes (on average) 10 days to fulfil a online re-order. (2 days for gp to authorise and 8 days for chemist to acquire and fill). But, i suspect it is probably management's misunderstanding of staffing priorities that is the cause of the "congestion". The dispensary space is tiny and overflowing with prescriptions and packaging. Perhaps a reduction in the size of one of the superfluous counters so as to extend dispensary space would be a good idea. The layout of boots branch in Brunswick square shows how much better use can be made of a similar area.
