As always a fantastic shopping experience. JL Nottingham really knows how to deliver that "foot shopping" experience. Staff are are always amazingly friendly, courteous, yes fully professional. Never will online ever replace the JL in-store experience.

We ordered a Samsung tablet online from John Lewis this morning; our money was taken and delivery agreed. This afternoon we received an email from customer services to say that the order had been cancelled because the price was incorrect online! To add insult to injury our refund may take up to five days. I rang customer services about this and also asked about the 'never knowingly undersold' policy, as I had seen the same product at the same price on other sites. Apparently that is also worthless as the refund has been set into motion. How the mighty have fallen.

John Lewis is a great store that will price match items they sell with other retailers, but you may need to price match what you are purchasing, as they don't always do it! A large range of televisions and other audio visual items. Computers, printers, tablets, mobile phones and accessories . Men's, women's and children's clothing. Toys, games, kitchen accessories and white good appliances (Fridges, freezers, washing machines etc). Beds and bedding, the list is endless. They also have both a coffee bar and a cafe that serves drinks and meals.

Went in today with my partner because he wanted some aftershave. Just wanted to say how amazingly we were treated. The lady working upstairs in the perfume department today her name was Jane and i cannot stress enough how lovely she was. Gave us some samples to take home and was just so so nice. I have never been treated so nicely by any employee anywhere. What a fantastic lady

Whenever we buy anything electrical or for the home we always use John Lewis. Staff always very friendly and knowledgeable on the products they are selling Also don’t make you feel rushed when making your choice. Keep up the good work in these difficult times

Used to come here for absolute years!! All through the 80s even when it was called jessops!! ????...and even when it was changed to John Lewis been coming here for years after! Bloody marvellous shop!! It's a goldmine! Quality products at decent quality prices! And even in these strange horrible covid times...n shops are closed or struggling with things.... it's nice that they can keep marching on...????????

I've always thought of John Lewis as a mixed bag. Some of the prices are so unreasonably high it's ridiculous. On the other hand some stuff is really good. Electronic goods spring to mind. They price match (or certainly used to), and also offer an often free delivery, so it can work out better here than other places. Their customer service has always been excellent, as has any returns issues! Other than that, it's a very large multi floor store, that sells almost everything.

I no longer live in Nottingham.but visit when I go back and I shop on line too. The shop is still lovely and pleasant staff. However the cafe... Oh dear John Lewis. I don't think queuing to have an egg sandwich in a cardboard container put on front of you at £4.50 is OK. I changed my order to a toastie at £4.90. A small toastie with a few bits of dried out salad leaves appeared and the bread couldn't be cut. I am so disappointed in this store today.

Received email from John Lewis saying my delivery would be the next day between 2 and 6pm so I waited in on my day off. Nothing came, DPD tracking online stated they'd not received the package so I went to John Lewis live chat. Gave my details and polite person said they were waiting to speak to someone. 30 mins later the operator just closed the chat window ending the conversation! Won't be using John Lewis again. My order was £350.

I ordered a large item from John Lewis and due covid was told I had a wait for the product. A delivery was arranged via their partners Product Care for Oct 9th. However it didn't arrive. When we contacted John Lewis they told us it would be delivered the following week. We waited for another week and when the truck arrived there was no appliance. We phoned John lewis again and was told they were very sorry and that our problem would be put through to claims but they would reschedule again for today. Today, the truck arrived again without our product!!! When we called John Lewis they told us that we could have a refund or wait but they couldn't guarantee it would come. We had a refund and when the money came back it was over 200 pound short! I will not ever use John Lewis again as I thought that their name meant quality and service. Not lies and excuses.

Customer service very disappointing. Website not working properly and no colleagues to answer the phone. If you phone in you get disconnected after 12 rings. John Lewis should consider investing in a call queuing system at least customerd would have a better chance of getting through!

Not the same customer service anymore. Looked at me quite vacant when taking a card to the cashier for a vegetable knife. She asked another girl who went off to find one. Came back and said we haven't got any. I asked if they had anything similar to which she just said so dont know!!.... I tell you what I will go elsewhere then if you cant be bothered. Poor service

Used to be a great store and the restaurant a nice place for breakfast. Now gone down hill, looks tired and the staff don’t seem to care anymore. Makes me think that they could be following the fate of house of Fraser and others. Come on guys raise your game. Avoid for breakfast, everything was tough from being kelp under a hot light. No flavour.

John Lewis in Nottingham is a fantastic luxury-premium shopping centre inside of the Intu Victoria centre. There is a superb selection of products in different environments; from kitchen utilities to hi tech stuff. The John Lewis staff is absolutely kind and qualified!! A special Thanks to Carl, in the hi tech department, who assist me in the choice for my daily headphones!! Just brilliant! Thank you again!! ????

Used to be a huge fan of John Lewis and thought very highly of them until experiencing very poor customer service during the coronavirus lockdown over a online return dispute. I refuse to shop with them again as I do not wish to be scammed out of more money. Be warned, John Lewis is not what it used to be, it now lacks customer service as much as the next average High Street chain.

Not what is used to be. The kitchen and glass ware section was poor stocked and the items on sale looked shabby. Lack of staff around and a general feeling of shabbiness. The cafe restaurant was a great disappointment. The tables were dirty, pots from previous diners were left and again lack of staff. The prices were high and the food was nice but not reflective of what was paid. John Lewis is not the treat it used to be.

A bit of an anachronism in regards retail these days. A place that still offers good quality products and s range of items in s multi level store. Prices are reasonable and the sale deals always worth taking a look at. Staff are very well informed on the stock and store location, with everyone well dressed and presented. Good disabled access for most and staff are always about and offer assistance without being too intrusive. The range of stock covers the whole of the shopping gambit and always very good quality.

Bought my 3rd small rug, good value, item not in stock, however delivery was free. Had to wait a few days more than anticipated - I would prefer items to be in stock (previous 2 identical rugs were in stock last year). I hope stock control is not a run down in stock held on site, as this would be a drop in service.

Half empty shop floor. No staff to be seen. No soap in dispensers in menswear toilets. Had to hunt down the key for the disabled toilet. Not great when on crutches.

Spent nearly £100 on items I never received. Dodgy Hermes delivery driver barefaced lied about leaving item on doorstep then watching someone come out house at a time when no one was even in. Obviously won't be shopping there again.

Just had delivery of my new fridge this afternoon. I'm very pleased with it, but that's not the only thing I have to say. From ordering at your store to text messaging letting me know where and what I was happening was wonderful! The two gentlemen that delivered my fridge were the most polite and helpful people you could ever wish to meet! Top marks! And Thankyou.
