Yesterday night I ordered a tablet and an argos card with home delivery for this morning. Today I checked for an update on the website and realised that my order was cancelled. I spoke to an operator on the live chat who told me that this was an error and my item will be delivered as promised. But then I asked for an update and the chat somehow dropped. So I entered again on the live chat with a second person who told me that the order was definitely cancelled at 2am by the store because they were out of stock.
This created such a confusing situation especially because the tablet was supposed to be a gift and I also ordered other accessories like tablet case, etc from other shops.

Just received a delivery for an electrical item (pole saw). Box damaged. Battery pre-charged to 98% when it should have no or limited charge and screen damaged. Appears to be a return. Been told to ring the customer helpline which is closed or use the chat which is quicker. Also closed. Waiting for the manager to ring me. Recycling damaged electrical goods is totally unacceptable

After having a fan delivered that was broken, we decided to exchange it here as it's the closest Argos to us. I've bought things and exchanged them here before with no problems, however the customer service we received here today was awful. I work in retail, and I understand policies, but the way I was spoken to was terrible. I showed Mary all the correspondence I'd had from Argos today, but no email with a Fast Track number? She did the exchange anyway, so there was obviously no need for talking to me the way she did! At least her colleague at the collection point gave good customer service.

I have been coming here for years. I have found the staff always amazing and they smile. The staff help with carrying items to your car, they chat with you and give you great advice. I have had to return items afew times never had any issues with that apart from a table i had to return. The manager did not want to accept it back because the packaging was unuseable etc. However she did accept it back.

Brought a sd card for my phone form this store went outside into my car tried the sd card wrong one went back into shop with my recipe to change it told by unhelpful manager I can't resell it so I can't change it because of the packaging £34 down the drain called customer service .told to take it to another store to change it.unbelievable. I did they changed it what sort of policy are you operating Argos managers making their own policy. Not good enough
