Argos is good for many things,staff as I remember are friendly & helpful.i haven't been in since all the lock down set in.but I do recommend them for great produce.

I had been given a £50 gift card from my job and I thought I'd go to Argos to spend it. Got there early, but the doors opened 5 minutes early for people to come in and it's so simple to put your order into the system. Tap it on the tablets in store, it gives you a reference and bam, you're at the desk paying. So simple, easy and lovely customer services.

Went into this store yesterday to return an unused baby monitor, the manager refused to refund me despite it being within the 30 day money back guarantee.Insisted that i contact the manaufacturer so had to clarify that there was no fault, it just wasn't loud enough. I was not happy because she implied that the product was opened,my response was that it had to be opened to test it for its suitability. She handed me to customer services and misinformed them that it had been used. The assistant who originally dealt with me on the other hand was very polite and helpful. Have made a complaint, i will not be visiting this store again!!

Court proceedings for miss sold goods agreement against LG and argos in motion BEWARE !!!!! To all LG customers bought a LG pk7 party speaker i bought the speaker its description is splash proof had it 4 months no were near water or rain but round drinks well it is a party speaker used outside on nice days its a party speaker !!!!! taken in doors at night liquid has got into the speaker some how LG refuse to repair as they have stated not water proof yet its stated splash proof its not been near water yet they refuse to repair BEWARE !!!! Of this product.

Really bad customer service. They will never give you refund or returns whether you have used it or not. Really shame on the name of argos will prefer amazon way better in terms of price and services and the manager is disrespectful and unwilling to help.

Last time I went in this store the staff were extremely rude!! I asked to return something and the lady said no it’s unreturnable (it hasn’t been used) when I asked why she said in an extremely rude tone “BECAUSE ITS NOT”. I went in today to buy earphones & I went on a machine it told me to put my name in and go to the checkout to pay, when we went over I said hi can I pay for my item my headphones please and she said what’s your name, I said my name and the lady( who was sat down whilst chatting to other employees at the time totally unprofessional) said to me “ I CANT HEAR YOU BECAUSE YOU’RE MUMBLING” I was not at all mumbling I spoke very clearly to the nasty woman she was just sat not paying attention my sister said the same!!! We left the store and said we would go else where .The staff in this store obviously have an attitude problem the manager needs to find better staff! I will not be returning awful customer service

Had to bring a product back. Due to queries from 2 customers and only 2 staff on - waited 25 mins before I got served As the staff seemed to take an eternity to sort out the queries. By then the queue was fairly large!

This store must be set to close down shortly, the stock checkers are about 10 years old. The staff refused a viewing of a karaoke machine as it was black Friday weekend.
We weren't sure whether it would fit with us on the train. No sale their loss.

I dislike Argos immensely but this was the only place I could buy the '90s relic known as a portable CD player. The CD player broke within a handful of days and never functioned correctly in the first place. The store feels like a place where hope goes to die and the customer service is terrible.

The manager of this store is a Complete and Total IDIOT!!! He REFUSED to change my item, EVEN though it WAS UNUSED, had the item for 3 days, and sealed, he was RUDE and RACIST and a INCOMPOTENT MAGGOT ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS!!! He makes Argos LOOK BAD! I went to a different branch they had no problem helped me immediately and we're polite. People like DANIEL store manager at Parliament Street should NOT have a position that his clearly INCAPABLE of handling!

Don't expect them to honour their widely-touted 30-day money back guarantee.
2 small items taken back within a few days of purchase, with receipt. Undamaged and totally unused and I was refused a refund. Apparently refunds are totally at the discretion of the store - something you don't read in their advertisements, and something which I only found out after long and tedious correspondence via their Facebook page.
I've bought quite a few large and expensive items from Argos over the years, but my confidence buying from any Argos store has now been destroyed due to illogical refusal of refunds on 2 items totalling less than £20
Take my advice and find what you're after on Amazon or Currys and order from there. They both have a superior and reliable refund policy and decent customer service.

The women manager at Argos in Lower Parliament Street was very disrespectful and was not willing to communicate today. This is the third time that she would refuse to help me. She did not want to cooperate with me and did not listen. I bought a tomtom a few months ago and today it just did not work I went to Argos and the crazy manager came to me and said we can't do nothing about it, even though I have 1 year guarantee. I don't think she should be the manager or a worker. She avoids helping customers and she makes Argos look very bad.
