John Pidgeon at West One Bathrooms Battersea made all the choices for my new shower room in a new extension during lockdown. I wasn’t able to go to the showroom to see what I wanted. Very frustrating! I gave him a rough idea and he then sent me photos and info on email. I agreed with all his choices and ordered everything he suggested. I couldn’t be happier with the finished result. 10/10 to John! I will be refurbishing my existing old bathroom in the next few week. I will definitely be using John for his valuable advice and experience to help me decide on choices.

Never write reviews. This place is honestly the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I could write an essay on the amount of errors made during the purchase of our bathroom items. But the highlights are probably: they sold us a bath without space for bath taps...and some bath taps; we ordered a basin with a left punched tap hole...and they sent us a basin with no punched tap hole at all; they put 2 toilets on our invoice, despite us never saying (during endless phone calls and emails) we needed 2 toilets; and, when the £500 bath arrived and didn’t fit (which they’d suggested the dimensions for) they wouldn’t accept it back, on the basis that a piece of flimsy cardboard packaging was missing (note other reviews here explaining the exact same problem...but still we were never warned!) - we were never told at any point we needed to keep the cardboard (they now tell us it’s in the FAQs and T&Cs...who reads those when they’re buying a bath?!). Worst One Bathrooms! Next stop, Trading Standards!

I went back to West One in my search for my new bathroom and in fact largely copied one of their showroom display sets as I could see what the finished effect would be. I am very happy with it, it looks great and works well. Kevin was a great help in putting it all together and keeping to my budget. I appreciated being able to pop in there with any questions or queries I had and nothing was too much trouble for him. Especially as after a fitting problem we ran out of tiles, which could have been a disaster as I had friends coming from USA to stay, but Kevin pulled out the stops to get me the 2 more tiles I needed to get it finished on time. Great products and service. Thank you.

I don’t often leave reviews but I just had to say that the team at West One Bathrooms in Battersea were fantastic to deal with. Attentive, knowledgeable and full of helpful ideas which were all things that I needed having never had to renovate a bathroom before. I was so glad I managed to get the great sale discounts too, no wonder they were so busy when I went in initially. Having spent a bit of time with one of the consultants I could see the masses of calls and emails they were handling while still giving me a great service, I honestly don’t know if I could do what they do, they definitely are like swans – calm on the surface but working away furiously below. We had to return an item that our installer had said would be suitable and have to say this went pretty smoothly. Thankfully, our installers had been very careful about keeping all the packaging in good condition as they know that’s really important when it comes to returning anything. I was mystified myself but one of them said it's like taking a TV back to the shop – you wouldn’t expect them to accept it if the box was torn in half and the styrofoam stuff was missing. I can't praise the team at West One enough, from the sales people in store to the delivery drivers who came to the house, everyone we dealt with was just great, will definitely be going back when we do the shower room next.

I went to the Battersea branch to discuss getting a bath. We weren’t sure of the size as building work was not finished, so asked if we could return it. No problem they said. The day it was delivered it was clear we could fit in a bigger one in and so returned it. The bath was sent back with all original packaging but a flimsy cardboard cover for the top was squished. Due to this they refused a refund. Keeping this easily discarded bit of cardboard was never mentioned at our initial consultation/sales-pitch. WestOne instead said we could sell it on EBay. Having a small baby and a job I don’t have time to become a bath salesman. They also delivered some bath feet we didn’t order which we returned unopened. Despite many follow up emails and phone calls we were never refunded for these either. They have taken hundreds of pounds from us and given us nothing. Awful company with dreadful customer service. Avoid like the plague.

I was also impressed with their advice, which I thought was very solid, technically, aesthetically and financially. Steven Reidy and Rick, the showroom manager, were great to deal with.

I can not Thank West One enough for all the help guidance and support they gave me in the refurbishment of my bathroom. Everything from Design& Styling to delivery and accounts was fabulous. I have a small bathroom with a lot of unique elements to it. Ricky really took the time to get to know me, my style and the style of the house as a whole and considered all of this when press wrong me with a design. He created a serene, stylish and practical bathroom with really good use of space which was essential to me. All the products were of the best quality. There were no issues with delivery and the whole process was so smooth and effortless!

It all started so well when the lovely design lady sorted everything out we would need for our bathroom. Then it all went horribly wrong. The bath took almost three months to turn up - with my husband chasing the team for updates daily - it wasn't the other way around. Then the taps were too short for the type of bath, the toilet bidet hose is faulty and needs replacing. The ex-display bathroom we bought - supposed to be taken down and packed on the day we bought it - was still in store on display weeks later -despite belonging to us. The shower screen ordered last month and due to be fitted tomorrow is now apparently delayed by another two weeks - again until we chased there was NO information coming from West One. We were given a refund of some cash - again after my husband wrote several angry emails and spent time on the phone. The overall impression is a business that doesn't give a monkey's about its customers and doesn't have the required systems to keep track of stock and orders, whilst also having zero communication skills with its clients and apparently its suppliers. It's not good enough to charge people a small fortune, and then fail to communicate with them, whilst blaming supplier delays. So shop somewhere else for your bathroom, spend your hard earned cash and know that the people you're buying from, are hungry and motivated to give you great service... these guys are not. If you insist on buying here, pay them in instalments - that way you might see an improvement in service.

Excellent service. We booked an appointment to talk to one of their bathroom design people. They were exceptionally helpful and have made the most of a small awkward bathroom space. The consultation was free of charge (as we brought our own measurements) and they have really transformed what we plan on doing. Will be going back to buy bathroom items next month.

been waiting for a toilet brush since begining of JULY !!! Not a cheap one almost £70 but these guys there have zero interest in business and are truly TIME WASTERS . i would fire every one of them as they are killing this business slowly . Good luck to the owner. I CAN NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. Take your money to a proper supplier who is interested to serve you .

I first bought a whole lot of stuff from West One Bathrooms when one of their showrooms was relocating about 15 years ago. Even though everything I bought was ex display and much cheaper than the full price, the service I received was amazing. The Monticarlo radiator I bought was missing valves when we installed it about 5 years later and they still went out of their way to get them for me from Italy. In 2016 I saw the most beautiful Agape ‘in out ‘bath in the Battersea branch being sold as ex display. Steve, the customer assistant was amazing and I got the bath of my dreams (I’m not rich) at a great price and again the service from start to finish was just amazing. I really cannot fault anything about the products or the service I received. First class all round, thank you

Visited this lovely Battersea showman on Saturday and was ignored for an hour and a half (all 4 staff ignored me while talking to their clients), even when some guy jumped the queue and got served before me, I would have thought they would have at least said ‘I be with you in a moment’ or acknowledged me in some way. Arguably, I thought it was me and a one off so I booked an appointment for Tuesday afternoon as I really like the showroom. Turned up again on Tuesday afternoon, this time there were 4 other staff with clients but the girl I happened to speak to on the phone was talking to a client so I was kept waiting for 15 minutes (she obviously wanted the commission), she said she might have to pass me to a colleague but still kept me waiting and then another 15 minutes later she finally passed me to a colleague who was typing an email, said he be with me in couple of minutes but asked what I wanted, when I said replace my bathroom, he said 'oh no not two minutes then' and carried on with his email and so I continued to wait again. I have found bad initial customer service is a good indication of subsequent service as it represents a culture among staff working together, so I walked out (they even watched me leave!) and I then went to their other branch in Wandsworth who were a lot more helpful and now they are redoing my bathroom and getting my business instead. I recommend you do the same.

West One charge "restocking charges" for any returned items. I returned an expensive cistern to be replaced by a cheaper cistern as the expensive one would not fit when the wall was taken down. No refund was given. West One claimed the cost of the expensive cistern was roughly equal to the cheap one and the restocking charge. No evidence was provided, no receipt either. Not even sure if this is legal. They also said that were they to refund me, which they wouldn't that it would take 28 days to be refunded! To top it off they specified a hand shower and bath boss that would have allowed water to flow on to the floor behind the bath. (Restocking charges were waived for this one) This left the design having to be changed while the builders were on site adding further costs.

I'd driven passed this place many times. I read the reviews and realised they had a service problem. Didn't realise how bad it was until I went there. Good show room, worth a look to get ideas to buy somewhere else. Four sales staff. All sat at their desks trying to look busy and important. Spent 15 minutes there getting ideas and photos. Not one salesperson stood up, spoke, asked if I needed any assistance. Hopeless. Really poor service.

Don't make the mistake of ordering from West One Bathrooms. I would give this showroom a 0 if I could. The design service was excellent. After that, it all went pear-shaped: the order placed was incomplete (the full complement of parts for the concealed cistern hadn't been ordered and no help was forthcoming from the sales group; I had to do my own research via internet & speaking to manufacturers; ordered the parts from independent suppliers, consequently they arrived piece meal, frustrating my plumber and causing me grief). When one of the other items from West One was found to be faulty, the showroom promised to test it and revert back within 4 weeks. The faulty part (worth £200+ was back in their hands on Mar 7, 2017. It's May 2nd and I am STILL chasing them for an answer! I wish somebody had told me that the high prices West One Bathrooms charge does not translate to good level of service. **** Update: The Accounts department has been remarkably prompt in getting in touch and sending me a refund for the faulty part.

Bad experience with delivery times and sending wrong parts, one expects a much more professional experience from such a high end and expensive store! I was told lead times 8-10 weeks for a couple of custom finish external parts, so I was prepared for that, but was told that the other parts would be available "sooner" and that the concealed parts would be available "right away". Instead, the custom pieces will arrive more than three months, and the last concealed part arrived at 11 weeks. Only few parts were delivered before 8 weeks and they included a wrong concealed part that took repeated calls to get replaced.

Fantastic bathroom showroom and great service to boot! I visited West One Bathrooms when we moved to Battersea in 2011 and dealt with Andy Reynolds who went out of his way to help me with a problem with my Dorn Bracht shower (which wasn't even purchased at his store). I was so pleased with this that when the time came for us to have a new bathroom, I looked no further than West One in Battersea and I was not disappointed. Andy offered great advice and gave me a good deal on my new Starck 1 Duravit bathroom suite. The order was quick to arrive. West one charge a very fair £25 delivery fee, but allowed me to have items delivered in stages - I had my first fix items delivered initially, followed by the tiles and then final fix items. A 5 star experience all round. Thanks Andy and team!
