seriously good food. perfectly crusted, tasty t-bone was a feast. very well executed sprightly side salads and crunchy chips. cooking takes plenty time, which they did explain clearly so worth being prepared for. small wine list of moderate value. excellent white chocolate cheesecake, served by spooning generously out of a tray. overly noisy room, doesn't need the extra music.

Had the "all in" for two, lots of meat and a bit of garlic bread beneath that which was super tasty because it was drenched in all the meat juices.
The staff were extremely helpful. There was a half hour wait for the table, got a text once it was free. I hadn't finished my beer before the table was ready so brought it with me in a plastic glass, the staff had no problems with this and gave me a chilled glass to put my beer in. Halfway through a friend wanted to join, the staff were happy to move us to a 3 seated table. At the end they even gave us a doggy bag to take our leftovers home. My only gripe was that the wine was a tad expensive, so make sure you're properly watered before or after.

The food is incredible!!! Piled high and cooked to perfection i have eaten roast dinners in michelin star restaurants and enjoyed the food less! We had the All In and will definitely be going back again.
Also its clear that the staff are trained to a very high standard. They seem happy and very efficient, i have only been here one time so far and would say its clear that it is run by great management. All food came out the same quality and all the servers explained what everything was (on the huge plates piled high) and we were topped up with drinks as regularly as any 5* restaurant would do. Definitely more impressive than a standard sunday roast eatery.

Sunday Roast! It was amazing. It gets booked up quite quickly, i started looking on opentable about 5 weeks in advance and it was all booked for Sunday. Kept checking and found a late slot. I am glad i didn't go elsewhere.
Service: It was probably the best service i got in London. I believe my server's name was Amy (based on the receipt) but she was so kind and always kept my water topped up. Even got me a 2nd serving of gravy, i didn't think i would use, but boy, i did!
Food: I was dining solo, so they were able to get me a plate of "All in" (Lamb+Pork+Beef). I'm glad i was able to sample all of the meats. Each comes with a paired sauce. The lamb was quite tasty with the mint. But i also really enjoyed the candied carrots below the whole pile of meat. The pudding was nice and chewy. Everything on the plate was delicious, one of my favourite meals in London.

Crazy campaign
Excellent food! We had the 'All In' set price option which came with starter nibbles, followed by a huge plate of incredibly tasty chops! The service was fabulous and all the staff were attentive and helpful. Will 100% be back with friends, what a find!

One of the best Sunday roast I have ever had in London!! Don’t forget to reserve a table in advance! They are supper popular! I tried the all in option but love the beef more! Will definitely come over again! The staff are the best! You hardly image you could get a decent service in such a busy restaurant but they made it! Love here very much!!

A place where they almost care more about a fun experience than making money. For example we were happily given 2 beers which were mistakenly ordered for another table. And on all ordering the same dessert, it came out in its tray and offered to help ourselves to the remains.
Anyway, more importantly it was excellent food, well priced beer and with friendly staff.
Will return in the future.

Fantastic all round; food, drink, service and atmosphere. We went for the 'All In' which was the perfect amount of food for two. But be prepared for food envy if you see others having steaks or burgers as everything looks delicious. The cheesecake is as amazing as all the reviews lead you to believe as it the Bread and Butter pudding.
The drinks are well priced and the staff couldn't be more courteous. Cant wait to go back!

Blacklock is a basement-style restaurant with possibly the best meats, portions, and the absolute best cheesecake. Located in the CBD, the restaurant has both, table service and a bar. It’s best to make a reservation, or walk-in and wait for a bit. It’s totally worth it. Three of us ordered the ‘All-In’ which is a pile of meats - lamb, pork belly, beef - which comes with some nice side dishes, and appetisers and sauces. The barbecued lettuce is amazing. The highlight though is the homemade cheesecake which is served at your table from a large dish into your bowl. The service is great and friendly and the prices are very reasonable given the size of the portions and quantity of free stuff. I’m a word, excellent.

Awesome place. I made a reservation about two weeks ahead of visiting. Be sure to do the same, otherwise it will be a very long wait.
The space itself is downstairs in a basement. Cool vibe. Dark and intimate. Would be a great date spot.
The food was very tasty. I ordered the beef rump and would highly recommend it. They told me to order three of the small cuts, but I would have been fine with two. For sides, I ordered the sweet potatoes. Would highly recommend. The in-house beer was good, too! Good price for what you get.

Perfect place. Very good food. Very good service and good prices. This is not a restaurant for intimate dining. It is in the basement of what used to be a brothel and the noise from fellow patrons is almost deafening. However, don't miss it. The food is excellent.
Suggest you book a table well in advance; this place is busy!

Great chophouse with all the prime cuts you want. Located smack bag in the middle of Soho. If you're dining alone, get the Rump cap steak with the 10-hour-ash roasted sweet potato. Steak is juicy and the sweet potato has that chargrilled BBQ taste we all love. Come on Monday's to save a small fortune on the big chops (e.g. Prime Rib, Porterhouse) to save a small fortune. Has a speakeasy vibe just like those bars in Shoreditch with the exposed brick and timber walls, and low-lit setting. Service was very friendly an helpful when it eas time to order and you're not sure what to get. Great place for hungry, carnivorous groups.

This was a real Sunday Lunch treat thanks to the amazing food and excellent service. We first visited Blacklock back in January after hearing so many good things about the place and our experience then was fantastic. While chatting to the manager having said how much we enjoyed everything it was put to us that we must come for a Sunday Lunch. So with that in mind we looked for a space in the calendar and she very kindly booked us... s in. This took us to yesterday as the day chosen. Our arrival was once again given a friendly welcome and even nicer the fact they remembered us. On looking around the roast dinners looked amazing but we had to be patient. You can choose one of the roasts either Beef , Lamb or Pork but we liked the majority plumped for the All In Sunday Roast which is a mixture of all three meats. We started first though with the two dishes for the table the Pigs Head on Toast & Coal Roasted Scallops with Black Pudding and both were absolutely delicious. Now it was time for the main event the All In roast and oh my god it's stunning. The vegetables & roast potatoes are on the bottom then two of the biggest Yorkshire Puddings sit on top before the beef , lamb & pork is draped over the puddings. We also decided to order two of the sides the Roots & Gremolata as well as the Minted Peas & Horeradish only because we wanted to try as much as we could. Everything is cooked to perfection so succulent & tender just heaven on a plate While enjoying a little rest before dessert I spotted this drinks trolley in the corner which had to decanters on it so when I asked our waiter what they were he said one was a whisky cocktail and the other was the Spring Negroni to which he made us one each and very nice it was to. It was then time for dessert to which they only do one but it is fantastic a homemade White Chocolate Cheesecake with Summer Fruits a dessert lovers dream So there you have it a truly amazing Sunday Lunch comes to an end and who knows when I'll be back. I know one thing it won't be long as the food is fantastic matched equally by the friendliness of each member of staff. Therefore please take my advice if your in London and think where can I get a great Sunday Roast then head to Blacklock for a lunch you won't forget. But please make sure you book as it's very busy on a Sunday

Great spot for dinner. The price is reasonable for the portion size. The meat itself is good; however I found some meats on the platter to be overcooked slightly on multiple visits. The cheesecake is the best I have ever had! Overall, recommend a visit for an affordable meal in a lovely setting.

The first time at Blacklock. Because just want to have some meat, we didn't go for the "All-In" which is £20/pp with all the slim chop, starter and sides, if you are starving is definitely go for the "All-In". Will try that next time.
We ordered a Lamb Barnsley, 450g. Beef Rump Cap with a winter salad and baked sweet potato for sides, 2 pints of house beer and an orange soda. Lamb is fantastic, we wanted to order rib eye, but they are sold out. 2 pp, £66 with service charge.
