Very professional and willing to price match. They were happy to let me sit in the shop for a while and try out a couple of different models. Andy Pearson was very helpful and friendly.

Hands down, one of the best guitar shops in Britain. The staff are musicians and enthusiasts first and sales people second. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they don't try and pressure you into a purchase, but guide you to make sure you are 100% happy. As a chain with shops around the country, they always carry a wide variety of stock and can easily ship between branches. Highly recommended!

Lovely place to see and be surrounded by so many guitars. The guys working there, really helpful all of them, they couldn't be nicer to you and help you in everything you need. A must see and visit store

I can absolutely recommend this company to any musician or producer. They really take care of your needs, have great gear and instruments, and the customer service is superb. Five stars.

A wonderful shop, with a great customer service. I've been assisted by Alfie and Rafael, both very helpful. The guitar I bought is great, a pre-owned one, professionally checked before the purchase. Looks new and the price was great. Much appreciated and HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Brilliant experience, both online and in the Camden store. I started off by buying a guitar online, only to find that the passive pickups were ultra low output, and was not going to work with my current kit. The staff were incredibly patient and thanks to their help and advice, found a more suitable alternative whilst still achieving my original intention. They also introduced me to some new brands that I was unfamiliar with, and I shall be returning to refresh my amp set up at home, along with some additional purchases. I cannot recommend these guys enough. Super impressed. Big thanks from me.

An excellent purchase via the website. I knew exactly which guitar I wanted. Selecting and paying for it was very easy. They deliver in one hour slots and it was right on time. Guitar was well packed and in perfect condition. Highly recommended.

Excellent customer service and knowledgable staff. I bought an entry-level guitar for my daughter, who has just started learning. Charlie and the team gave us the same care and attention, making sure the instrument was perfectly set up, that you'd normally expect from buying a really high-end instrument. Really impressed and glad that I bought from them rather than a non-specialist store.

Visited Guitar Guitar Camden with my partner to purchase an acoustic guitar (my Christmas pressie). On arrival we were greeted by friendly (not pushy) staff and was good to see COVID prevention measures in place. To be honest, I love guitars, but I am not very knowledgeable (never previously owned an acoustic) or skilled when it comes to playing so I needed some good advice . Alex was excellent and provided great advise on options with no hard sell and ultimately we ended up under budget. Staff really know their stuff, it was a really good buying experience and I am looking forward to making some noise Christmas Morning!

Double check your receipt, avoid going in over the weekends if possible. I went to the store on a Saturday to purchase my first guitar. The gent who served me was helpful to a sale point and presented me with expensive guitars. Upon me agreing to buy, asked him if he could change the strings for me. But was told that he couldn't change the strings because it was Saturday and store was busy, he had other customers to serve. Was I not a customer? Guitar was priced at £249 and I got charged £269 Picks were priced at £4.29 and I got charged £6.29

Much better experience and staff than the "historical" guitar shops on Denmark Street full of arrogant people. I buy all my guitars only here now. Great selection, staff is super helpful and gives you time and space to try equipment before committing to a purchase.

After my 5 minutes browsing allowance was up on my way out I ask the "Guitar Guitar sales representative" the question "When do you think the shop will be back to normal" The answer I get is : "Ask your local MP I'm not a politician". As I try to make my question clearer , the "Guitar Guitar sales representative" boldly cranks his unfriendliness up to 10 and reminds me he's only working in a music shop and that he doesn't deal with policy. I then leave the shop politely without debating and confrontation and I head towards a nearby PUB. I'm not allowed to enter as entrance to the PUB is reservation only. So I ask the security guy working at the door "When do you think the PUB will get back to normal" . He replies with the following "I have no idea hopefully soon". Guitar Guitar, a bouncer working at the door has got much more sense of customer communication and wider perspective on humans than some of your staff. We are all struggling with this pandemic. Remind your staff to be kind to those who visit your Camden store. We are all in this pandemic. And certainly I did not deserve to be treated like that. I regret every single penny I dropped to your stores (around £8000 globally and nearly £5000 at the Camden branch). I won't call in again. I also advise everybody reading this review to avoid this shop. They don't deserve you !

Too many bad experiences with this store. I purchased a Squier Telecaster from them last year, got it home and noticed it was quite badly scratched at the back. Rather than giving me a brand new guitar, they gave me a floor model which honestly looked second hand. I didn't think much of it as it was a cheap guitar. Then recently I purchased a Squier Classic Vibe Jaguar from them (a £340 guitar) When it arrived, I played it for a while and noticed it had the worst fret buzz I've ever heard, almost every string buzzes, or gives off dead notes, making it completely unplayable. I've played guitar for 15 years and never had a guitar play so badly, even when buying used guitars online. I messaged Guitar Guitar asking for a refund or a replacement, they told me it's not possible. I contacted a few luthiers to set up the guitar and make it at least playable, and they told me it'll cost at least £50. I've owned 50+ guitars in my life time, and the two I purchased from GuitarGuitar arrived either heavily scratched, or unplayable due to fret buzz. I try to support businesses by buying in store but never again, after spending £340 on a brand new guitar, I now have to spend another £50 getting it setup so I can at least play it without extreme fret buzz on %80 of the frets. Very dissapointing

I have just bought a gorgeous EJ200, Vintage natural. Straight out of the factory, it came with a ridiculously high action. The guys at guitarguitar fixed it in 20 minutes, and returned the most majestic guitar I've ever owned. My fingers are flying over the neck, it feels incredibly comfortable, and the sound is just perfect. The guitar itself is so gorgeous I don't know whether to play it or admire it. Everyone was incredibly polite, welcoming and helpful. On a side note, absolutely delighted that they took all the precautions to make it covid-safe. Definitely new shop of reference. Cheers!!

Absolute scam. Terrible shop. Don't give your business to them. I ordered a guitar from them in April and it turned up in December. I had received an email saying it was in stock in August (4 months later) by John, to this I replied "I now want to order a classical guitar with nylon strings so I won’t be needing this guitar anymore. Please cancel the order." Money was not returned to my account and the unwanted guitar was delivered a further 4 months later. What company in 2020 treats their customers like this? Not even so much of a "sorry" or even a free pick. 8 months to get a guitar that I didn't want and have written proof that I cancelled it. I know Covid leads to delays but 8 months is inexcusable. Disgusted with the company. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.

Running up to my purchase, the CS team at Guitar Guitar head office was superb, helping me pick out a specific serial number on a Les Paul which was located at the Camden store. After finding an issue with the brand new guitar, the team at the Camden store were super understanding and accommodative. Special thanks to Charlie who buffed out the imperfection on site and gave me some free hardware for the inconvenience. Can't thank these guys enough, some of the best CS ever. Will

Went in to buy a beginner's guitar and the guy that assisted was very pushy on selling one model of guitar (the only one that he bothered to show us). We ended up trying out other models whilst he was gone picking up the guitar bag for the purchase. When we decided to switch to another model, he was visibly upset and impatient with us. Did not tune or check the second-hand guitar we bought, or advise us to buy picks or tuner (we had to ask ourselves) so it was a really disappointing experience for us getting our first guitar. Store was not busy at all so we can't understand why he was so impatient. TIP: His colleague was too lazy to box up a guitar, so we got a guitar bag for free in the end.

purchased s supposed;y Brand new Fender offset duo sonic guitar from this shop just before lock down in March. As a front line worker for the NHS i hardly had time to play it due to obvious reasons, post lock down i examined the guitar for the first time properly. all the plastic coverings had been peeled off which i found strange. I rang the shop and they insisted their records showed it had never been purchased before. started to play the guitar and wasn't happy with it. paid by finance but paid it of in full early so total price i paid was £529. Explained the above and received all the excuses under the sun, they even said the guitar showed signs of wear which was ludicrous. they all ganged up on me as I was the only customer in the shop and said that the best they could do was offer me 175 pounds back. left exasperated. Eventually sold privately and the buyer immediately recognised there was no "wear and tear" on it and identified an electric fault that affected the volume. but he was extremely happy to buy it as he said he could sort this out. Ultimately this shop is dishonest and inflexible and sold me a duff guitar. Do yourself a favour. Go to an independent shop to buy a guitar as in my experience they are much more flexible. i'll never use this shop again.

Awesome staff - super helpful and knowledgable and a great selection of stock. All PRS, Fender and Gibson covered with a good selection of second hand stuff too. The pedals collection (both new and used) is also excellent. I used to just go to Denmark St for my guitar needs but now GuitarGuitar is a regular stop on my LONDON Guitar Safaris. Worth a visit for any enthusiast.

Came to browse for a first electric guitar. Had really great customer service. Tall guy with dark hair, very knowledgeable and let us try various options and gave us pro’s/con’s for each and honest opinions. Never felt rushed, came out with the perfect instrument. Would happily purchase from here again.

Bought a Guitar back in January and very pleased with my purchase. The staff were very helpful and friendly. As a nervous and indecisive customer they really made me feel comfortable and never felt like they were pushing for a sale. Since going into the Camden store I have also used their online delivery service which I can't fault.

Decent shop, I've bought a bass guitar and a number of pedals, mic stands, pedals and other various bits of kits here since they first opened up a few years ago. Was a little disappointed they would not restring my guitar the other day, saying they had over 40 to do. I think it would have been better to explain that there would be a longer wait time than to turn a customer away altogether.
