The most pleasant people I've met in London, and just an all-round cool place. They gave me free drinks just to be nice, and even though they knew I wasn't going to buy anything they still chatted with me for a while. Strongly recommend this great shop.

Awesome place. Sam and Danny were great guys who know their guitars. They spent lots of time chatting to me and jamming with me. Definitely my favourite guitar shop would absolutely recommend to all who want good guitars and even better service!

Went in all the shops on the street but these guys were friendly (I'm a beginner), knowledgeable and very patient. Had a great range of Gibsons and Epiphones and helped me choose a guitar I'm very happy with - if you're looking for a Gibson don't go anywhere else. Didn't get any beer though - next time!

I love this place. The interior design is great. If you are into guitars, and want to try something in a store, you always feel that the store owners keep looking at you and want you to buy or leave. This is not the case here, as the employees are lovely and they understand the meaning of being real guitarist rather than sellers. I would recommend everyone to visit this shop. RECOMMENDED!

I was running around all day looking for a Truss Rod wrench for my Gibson acoustic. After calling stores for hours trying to find someone, I finally got ahold of 60 60 sounds. Not only did they have to the tool I was looking for, they stayed open late so I could get it before my show, and then they gave it to me in case I needed it while on tour. Highly recommend them for any musical needs.

The guys invited me in for a look around while they were in the later stages of setting up the store. I was on holiday from Australia. I couldn't imagine meeting a nicer bunch of fellas. I can't wait to visit again now the store is finished and looking resplendent.

Old school music shop, but new - swimming against the tide of history you have to think. Stylish design, lots of space, nice hipster dudes and very tasty guitars all around (they're a Gibson dealer). They have an in-house luthier who will set up your axe for a few bob, so check them out.
Edit - they have an *excellent* luthier, Andy, who will make your guitars sound fantastic. He's done three of mine!

These boys are on to something special. I've always been welcomed as a friend from the moment I stepped in. They're projecting a community culture that I haven't experienced anywhere else and I'm so excited to be a witness to it.
Not only that, but their product knowledge is fantastic (which is even more impressive considering the number of Gibsons/Epiphones they have hanging on their walls and the range of amps). I wasn't a fan of Gibson until I played one in Sixty Sixty and now I can't imagine anything else being my next purchase. When the time comes, I've been told there's going to be champagne too...

THIS IS IT. Ever since buying instruments was accessible through the internet, these guitar shops kind of went into a panic. But I have to say that this is what guitar shops should be all about. It starts with the staff, people who know all about their gear and what you're after. More importantly, they're super friendly, and damn well understand that buying a guitar or an amp is an iterative process and that seeing the same faces coming through the door and trying the same stuff is perfectly normal. Since some of the these shops have gone into panic after online shopping, they've become only interested in you if they know you're going to buy something. Not these guys. the owner of shop practically invited me to try out literally anything I wanted, and didn't even flinch when I asked to try out some of the really expensive stuff (which some other shops could be a little hesitant with). The next thing is showroom itself. DAMN THIS PLACE IS COOL. Great looking chandelier swinging from the ceiling, a nice leather couch, beautiful display of their gear and most importantly, the open space! This is actually very important as you have an opportunity to really blast the volume and allow the sound waves to move around the room. Great place, great staff, and rumor also has it that of you buy a guitar, you get a shot whiskey along with it. I guess thats as epic as it gets.

Had a day in London with my kids last Saturday and had always promised my son a trip to Denmark Street. My son is 12 and has been playing guitar for only 6 months but is super keen and already shredding. Not only did the staff here welcome us in like we were old friends, but Danny (one of the staff) sat down and jammed with my son for 20 minutes, handing out hints, tips and encouragement all the time. All the staff were superb - including at the gig later that afternoon that they invited us to.
Can't guarantee much in life but one thing is for certain - when my son gets his first Gibson (and he's desperate for one now), the only place we'll be buying it is here; don't care about the travel from the Midlands, we'll be back!

This place is truely head and shoulders above the other shops on the street. Jan and the team where instantly very welcoming and I didn’t feel under any pressure to purchase anything (which IMO is rare for music shops!).
We got chatting and expressed interest in a 335 on the wall. An hour (and a couple of small Whiskys later) it was mine!
Thanks for staying open past closing time and adding some real value to the experience, I’ll definitely be back and sure to recommend.
