After reading many reviews I could see a lot of the issues stemmed from deliveries to home addresses. So I though I’ll just pick up my delivery from the closest store. I was wrong. My delivery date has been changed 5 x times - no apologies - no compensation a - the website is horrific to navigate in the event things don’t go your way. Steer clear. As the age old saying goes you get what you pay for - price point may be good - customer service is horrific and you don’t even get your product after waiting half a year.

Terrible service, will never use company again. Avoid if possible. Ordered product start of August and picked delivery date. Didn’t arrive and not informed, so wasted full day waiting for it. I rang up and rearranged delivery and was told parts of order were missing. Item finally arrived end of October but damaged. Had to keep ringing to get sorted. Very disappointing service, expected more.

AVOID!! You are better off buying discounted ex-display old units elsewhere!!! Awful and appalling customer service. They delivered a damaged bath, took them over a week to come back with a resolution, at which stage I had to install the faulty bath as otherwise left with nowhere to shower!! They didn't bother offering a replacement or refund for a faulty item I had to stuck with.

The height of the product i ordered claimed to be 1180mm. When it eventually arrived it took a while for my plumber to come to fit it (due to covid). When they did arrive and we discovered that the sizing is wrong its actually 700mm I asked Better Bathrooms if i could return it to replace it. They said they said no. I can't believe that they are selling products that aren't labelled. correctly and then refusing to allow people to exchange.

Absolutely appalling customer service. Ordered full bathroom in October, was told would be delivered 2nd Dec. We heard nothing so I called, after being on hold for 25 mins I finally got through only to be told my bathroom had been rescheduled for 7th Dec as some of the stock wasn't in. Again heard nothing so I called them again after being on hold for 19 mins I managed to speak to some1 that told me it was being delivered on the 8th Dec as some of the stock wasn't in. I asked to be put through to some1 more senior. I spoke to some1 that assured me all the stock was in the warehouse reserved for our delivery on 8th. No delivery on 8th so called them once again to be told some of the stock wasn't in so wouldn't be able to deliver. By this point I had cancelled my plumber 3 times and left without a bathroom. I then called to cancel my order and asked for an email confirming cancellation. I was assured i would receive it soon. 3 phone calls later and 2 hours of my time wasted once again to finally get through and had to literally demand it be done while I was on the phone. I don't think any1 knows what the other 1s doing. Or they are told to tell every1 the same thing. Makes me think if they are just taking people's money making interest for a few months then customers are cancelling. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.

Great company to deal with. All items delivered on time and with a nice discount. Customer service brilliant, emails answered same day. Found a minor fault when first delivered, easily sorted with no hassle in a just couple of days. Over 30 days after receiving my order I unpacked a bathroom unit and found a couple of visible paint chips. Contacted customer services, they were going to send me a new unit straight away but it was out of stock until September so they fully refunded me and let me keep the unit so I could finish my bathroom!

I placed an order for 2 vanity units circa £1000. The vanity units were never delivered instead I received someones grey bathroom suite including a bath. It took many phone calls to find someone to try to correct it. Then the collection took over a week whiled I stored all this stuff and the delivery driver turned up out of the blue 3 days later. He was surprised to find 2 pallets of stuff and had been told 1 pallet for collection. More chasing and better bathrooms said the original units were not available until July when I said just a refund would suite me better. Now I see I have been refunded £500 instead of £1000. Yet more phone calls to someone who really doesn't care. I am sure when it goes right these guys are fine but they are not interested when there is a problem and that's when it counts. VERY POOR SERVICE. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

Would give 0 stars if possible.. Dont waste your time. Shower screen arrived unprotected and heavily scratched. Have been waiting 1 month for it to be picked up and replaced or refunded - Still waiting... There team clearly does not communicate to each other - Each time I get a new email from someone new apologising for the delay, but nothing happens. And you cant get through to them on phone.

Complete and utter fiasco. I ordered from these people 6 weeks ago, the delivery was put back 5 times before I gave up hope, I have had to reschedule fitters each time. I have been told completely different tales from each person I spoke to - THEY DO NOT HAVE A CLUE and nor do they have any stock - BUYER BEWARE - if I can save you the aggravation I have undergone, my advice is - GO ELSEWHERE if you value your sanity.

Never have I experienced such incompetance and poor customer service. Please don't use this company. You cannot speak to anyone - it is all automated. I waited 3 months and they sent me the wrong thing. I have had to send countless emails, texts and photos to try and get the product I actually ordered and was told a further wait of 2 months. They didn't collect the item they incorrectly sent when arranged, which meant waiting in a whole day for nothing. Still waiting on another collection date and a refund but never get direct answers. Customer service line always says there is a 2 hour wait and offers a call back service before cutting you off and never calling you back.

It’s been about two years since I bought my bathroom from this store. In those two years I’ve had to, one by one, replace every item that was bought, except the sink. At the time, the sales agents were dishonest about delivery, and promised me an exact day. The items did not turn up, and I was told that they can never guarantee delivery, and I should have waited until after delivery before securing a plumber. My works were affected as a result. So the quality was dreadful enough to necessitate replacement, the service was atrocious, and the ethos dishonest. In future I would gladly pay more to avoid the disaster that is so-called better bathrooms.

Worst possible experience of what should have been a very simple order and delivery. Ordered a bath and taps in June in time for bathroom fitters starting in July. It's now September 8th and after over 10 conversations, we still cannot fit the bath as parts are still missing. We had to cancel the taps entirely as they just never turned up and we still have not been refunded for them. Every enquiry/call to address another failure met with a blasé attitude and no regard for the fact that we have no usable bathroom, we have had to pay contractors to come back and been let down more than 3 times by failure to deliver the bare essentials that should have come with the items as standard, that we have to arrange for people to be in the jouse to accept deliveries that yhen never show ot are incomplete. Costing us time and money, not to mention stress. A complete lack of empathy or problem solving from the staff who seem shocked that we are not happy with the service and take it personally. Terribly immature and badly trained staff who on anumber of occasions have simply lied and said things such as 'I can see that your order has been dispatched and will be with you tomorrow' - complete lie. Truly, truly abominable in every way. DO NOT EVER PURCHASE FROM BETTER BATHROOMS OR BUY IT DIRECT OR ANY OTHER SUBSIDIARY FOR THE SAKE OF YOUR WALLET AND YOUR SANITY.

They don’t even deserve one star. I have given a 1 star review some years back but looks like they have taken my review down. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! This is without doubt the worst service I have encountered in 20 years trading as a plumber. My customer insisted on ordering shower boards from better bathrooms, paid for quick delivery. Due to be delivered on Wednesday, no show nor any communication 2/3 days later. Having chased them they assured me would be delivered, took 2 weeks to deliver and when delivered not complete order. Better bathrooms and delivery company blaming each other, disgraceful and to add to insult the quality of boards are of the poorest quality. Do not use!!!!!!

Appalling customer service. Couple of customer service reps I spoke to were clueless. They had my order but were not sure where it was and I had the email confirming the delivery date but didn't arrive which prompted me to ring them. I rang couriercompany myself to find out if they had my order which they did but Better Bathroooms staff still were clueless. Also having premium rate telephone number is a rip off. After all this still no apology and one off the customer service supervisor or manager was suppose to ring but never did.

Do not bother with this company! Didn’t receive an order confirmation, had to chase them. Staff member called Pauline very unhelpful and quite rude (she actually ended up putting the phone down on us!) still haven’t received part of my order when I was told it would be in stock. Very disappointing. Also, I was very confused as to which company I was dealing with. Emails are from Better Bathrooms yet invoice says Appliance Direct and card receipt says Buy it Direct? Company policy on collection is also not made clear. Overall a terrible experience, don’t bother!

Avoid at all cost! Cheaply made products that don't fit together. We bought a shower cabin that looked great online for around £700, once it arrived none of the parts fitted together, we did our best to follow the instructions but the manual was a generic one for a couple of different models and almost no help for our shower at all. Just some of these problems include the sides and back not fitting on the base the shower walls/sides not fitting together (the instructions even told us to drill our own screw holes) the pre drilled screw holes not lining up. The roof being to small for the enclosure, there are even parts it told you to fit that would make it uneven with the base so the enclosure would wobble around on it. I just wish we could send it back but obviously we took the old bath out before we started. It took 3 days to get it up and running ( I'm a professional tiler, I've fitted full bathrooms W before) we had to wash in the sink! After buying my own screws adhesive and sealant we managed to have a shower only to find the cheap plastic covering to make it look chrome started to come off once wet.. Obviously we have complained, after about a month of sending them pictures of all the faults, emailing and talking on the phone, we were told we could take it apart and send it back ( I have a family that need to wash, I can't believe they are serious) or give us a £15 voucher.

I ordered £214 of products and in the current situation I understand delayed delivery but its been 2 months and have received only a email 2 days before item was supposed to be delivered that it is in further delay by 10 days, I am a plumber and had the job booked and for every delay it costs me my reputation and money. Not it so I rescheduled it to be fitted on the 15th which I got told would be my new delivery date but again 1 night before I received a email at 10pm to disclose it being pushed back once again now to August so another moth the customer has no means of a toilet or a basin this if they had let me know this from start I would have canceled and found a different source zero stars if I could also 3 hour waiting time on the phone.

I was told that my toilet would arrive on Monday, which was ten days ahead of the date that I ordered it and had a reminder on the previous Thursday about it. I took a day off work to be sure not to miss its arrival. 11.30 on the Monday, (theday of arrival), I had an Email from Better Bathrooms to say that they apologised but owing to circumstances outside of their control, the toilet would not be delivered until 19th October. I told them that I wanted my money back and I would order elsewhere. They told me that I could not do that as the order had been processed and that the best way to get my money box was not to accept delivery of the toilet when it arrived. I sent them a message to say that I would have to take another day off work to refuse delivery of the toilet and then asked if they expected me to pay for delivery and return of the toilet. I later received an Email to say that the money would be refunded to my Email account. Correspondance was always good, but the service was definitely not. They seem to have a lot of problems with deliveries. I oredered the same toilet from another company and it was delivered in four days.

Failed on the first delivery date, the delivery then had to be split over two weeks later i have found out they use a 0844 number which charges you to call!!!! I believe this is a Tactic to increase there profit Margins. DONT NOT USE THEM!

Terrible service - avoid at all costs. Ordered and didn't receive a confirmation email, now I've had an email from one person saying they can find my order but actually it won't be in stock for months and another person on email saying they can't even find my order. I've had the money taken from my account. Worst of all they charge you to call them - what sort of company have premium rate phone numbers for customer service?!

Will never use again. I placed an order for a bed and mattress and only received the mattress which was delivered damaged. I had to chase them for over a week continuously for the delivery of the bed with false promises day after day. I gave them a second chance with a bathroom bathroom furniture order, but again, a main item was missing and had had to chase them every days for 10 days for an answer on when it was being delivered. Again false promises on the delivery times which costs me a lot time and money. I am writing this still without the goods that I have ordered.

Bought my bathroom from these guys collection was miles away but nevernind. Spent over 1500 pounds with these guys. Now after employing my plumber to do the job he told me some of the parts were wrong. Never mind will go and get a refund or replacement part. On arriving at better bathrooms was told can't return unless i pay a charge of around 30%. Can't ever get a refund even if it never been used they will give you gift vouchers.

I had the worst possible experience ever. I would highly recommend everyone to stay away from this company! Ordered a vanity unit and was given a delivery date after a month. I accepted this due to the current situation. However, I phoned them to see if they can deliver it sooner but 1 item (out of 5) wasn't in stock. After a month I received an email that my deliver will be after another week. I thought ok, I can wait another week. And then it continues... My delivery dates were changed 6 times. I am not joking. What is more important that the waiting time is always around 90mins. Nobody bothers to answer your emails with explanations apart from the general ''sorry'' email. My emails are being answered by 4 different people who give different delivery dates. In the end, I received my vanity unit with a sink and it was broken.

Unfortunately I can’t give 0 stars otherwise I would. Absolute joke of a company. Been let down 4 times n delivery now without them even contacting me or letting me know. Completely messed a plumber around as he had no materials to work with. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. If you have an issue you can not speak to the company direct. It’s all handled in a call center ( they don’t mention that on they’re web site when you place an order. ) diabolical is the only word to describe this company. Oh yeah and when you call up and finally get to speak to a person they will tell you any old lies to get you off the phone. TAKE MY ADVICE AND DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE CHARLATANS.

When I ordered the bathroom suite it was "in stock", actually it wasn't and would be 3-4 weeks. Delivery date approaching, and suddenly it's pushed back. Then it is supposed to be delivered Monday, never arrived. I called and was assured it would be here Tuesday, I call on Tuesday and it has not been dispatched. Again I'm assured there was a problem, they would speak to the warehouse and it would be here Wednesday. I call on Wednesday, it's not been dispatched! .. Enough now, so I cancelled the order, I couldn't trust a word they said, I will never order from here again.

If I could give 0 stars I would. We ordered a new bathroom suite back at the start of May with a delivery date given of 28th May. As soon as the payment left the bank we received a notification saying parts of our order were not in stock and would be delivered in June. OK, so a lot has happened this year and we had sympathy with BB so didn't make a fuss. One item which was due in stock in June was then delayed until July, despite us being told the item was in stock in Huddersfield but that we couldn't collect from that depot and that a stock transfer was not available??? After numerous phone calls to find out what was going on we were told that the item would be available for collection from Elland on Thursday 9th July. We collected on the 9th and when we unpackaged it was heavily damaged. One of the drawers had split in two and the side of the unit had peeled off on the surface. We phoned BB to request a replacement and they confirmed the item was in stock, asked for some photos of the damage and that the matter would be passed to a case manager. Case manager emailed the following day offering us a £30 store voucher if we kept the unit??? We had to reply via email rejecting their ludicrous offer to which we received an automated response telling us we would hear back within 5 days!! We waited a few days before phoning again and being told the item would be delivered the following day and that the damaged unit would be taken away. No delivery the next day and phone lines closed so I went to the Elland collection point to see what was going on. I was told that no replacement had been ordered and that they would order a replacement for the following day. I was also told that they would not take the original item away as they were not able to re-sell it and that i would have to arrange for it to be skipped! We waited in for a second day and yet again no deliver was made. I am now waiting for the store to re-open on Monday before going back in to try and sort. I would not recommend this company to anybody, they have zero customer service skills and continuously lie to their customers!!

Google will not allow me to give this company 0 stars so I have to give it one star. I placed an order for a bathroom suite last Friday. The first issue was I did not receive a confirmation of my order so I called up and it was sent to me manually. I confirmed a delivery date for the 25th of February. On the morning I call up asking why I have had no notification of a time slot. I am then told my delivery has been rescheduled to a week later. There was no email notification not even the courtesy of a call. If I had not called up I would be sitting at home waiting for the delivery. This company's customer service has to be the worst I have ever experienced. I cancelled the order and am going to buy else where. Good luck to anyone buying with them as their service is appalling.

READ THE REVIEWS THEY ARE SMACK ON. I usually ignore poor reviews as I question the integrity however on this case they're accurate. Firstly sent us the wrong bath, then failed to collect it on said date, then refused to reissue a new bath for 10days, after agreeing to send one finally the bath did not arrive on the date the courier was supposed to arrive. We called them at 2pm and were informed it would arrive by 5pm. It did not. 85 minute wait times on hold, difficult refunds even though theyre at fault, no confirmation for delivery, lied to about when delivery would be. Worst company I have ever dealt with. Read the reviews, they are right! Wish i could give a zero.
