Haas food her with my wife and friend recently. It used to look like a dive before they did it up and we decided to give it a shot and we were delighted with the food and staff. The bar had a lovely atmosphere and it would have scored 5* except there was a major issue with flies in the bar.

Had a great meal today at the ring o bells the food is excellent. And the staff are very welcoming, pleasant. The pub is very clean and I would highly recommend this place to go for a drink and a meal .well done to all the staff.

Chewy steak even when rare asked if a plate that was empty was done with then whilst at bar cleared table still had half dinner left on a different plate not much common sense from table service.

A massive improvement on how it used to be. Shame there are flies everywhere and I had a pint of line cleaner. Some tweaks to be made and a UV fly trap but it's moving in the right direction. Well done

Just got back from having a very disappointing meal, the unfriendly waitress practically threw our cutlery on the table, then didn't arrive back with sauces we'd asked for, went to the bar to get some, the bar lady came back to say they'd ran out of mayo! Luckily there were spare napkins on the table next to us, so had something to wipe the grease from my gourmet burger on, which came without onion, gherkin, or mushrooms, my fries were like bullets and coleslaw tasted of nothing. My partner had mixed grill, on which you could squeeze the grease out of the chips and onion rings, the only reason i've given 2 stars rather than 1, is because his steak was cooked to perfection!

Went on Sunday.Cannot fault cleanliness, staffs manner or atmosphere but food was awful,although understand you cook with what's provided, white quality!Won't be going again.Also menu is lacking now.Always a safe snap up now disappointed. Also it's a family pub but can't there be a grown up area where kids aren't running free??I'd rather go hathern bogof...Better quality too!Sad as we see ring o alot

This is a pub for local, regular drinkers. If they dont know your name, dont expect to made welcome.
