An hour in and food has still yet to arrive. For such a simple menu, and digital ordering, you’d think it would be a tad faster - especially when we are given a time limit on how long we have at the table.
This said, our server came out and was apologetic about the delay and provided a complementary coleslaw... and the food is dang delicious. (Cheers to the owner for his genuine greatness)

Had a great time last night, really cool place to visit, nice vibe! Our waiter came to our table and told us about the selection of drinks, he asked us about our preferences and we had a good laugh with him, he definitely knew his stuff ???? it was nice exploring and it was nice because the booths were already closed off so there weren't plastic screens everywhere ???? we liked the photo booth, got some cute pics to mark the occasion!

Went for a Christmas work meal. Great atmosphere and really tasty, homely food. Had the vegan options (ate the brownie and ice cream too quick to take a photo!) which were a pleasant surprise. Only quibble is that the drinks were quite pricey and they had run out of the wellington so my colleague couldn't have one. They offered to make something else but everyone would have eaten by then so ended up giving her half of mine.
Would go back though!

Place looked nice on Google. Booked a table for 4 people, arrived in two, the other couple would have reached us later. They gave us a table with no signal so we couldn't access the Internet to order. Moreover nobody was coming round even thou the waiter when he gave us the table told us he would have come back soon for our orders. Just rude, forgot clients and the light inside was horrible.
There are better places in Brighton for sure ????????????

Had a really lovely time tonight at The Tempest! My friend and I came down to Brighton for the first time today and we found the lovely staff at The Tempest to be very accommodating, efficient and friendly. We sincerely appreciate the venue going out of their way to re-seat us away from a noisier crowd. And of course, for the amazing Loaded Fries. Thank You :)

WOW!!! The bottomless brunch here is unbeatable. Unreal views of the seaside, the atmosphere was perfect - so fun and relaxed. The service was incredible, we never had an empty glass and Sarah and Ellen in particular were attentive and friendly ???? The fry up included was really delicious and filling. The egg was perfectly runny, bacon cripsy and could tell the bread was freshly baked ???? Got way more than our money's worth. SO impressed, will definitely be returning, one of the only bottomless brunches in Brighton where they actually leave you with the bottle! ♥️

Visited last night and couldn't have had a better evening. Staff couldn't have been more helpful, food was amazing, place looked really cool and they did a great job with the social distancing keeping it fun and chilled. Will definitely be coming back, can't recommend enough!

Very good food. But make sure you bring ID as they are very funny about ID even when you are 30/35 years old they won’t serve without it. Plus they have dogs on the tables which is unhygienic.

Booked a table at least 3 days in prior and kindly asked them to reserve a nice table for two, as it was a special occasion for me and my girlfriend. The reservation was confirmed and everything was looking fine, but we arrived there only to seat us probably in the worst inside table, just outside the toilets with a bright "interrogation" lamp lighting straight on our eyes.
Bonus no.1: a bunch of 18-year old drunk people sitting in the next table (just these two tables in this extra romantic "space"!)
Bonus no.2: this area had no signal at all, so we were also unable to order
Bonus no.3: a member of staff "noticed" us after 10 minutes or so. We asked him if he could move us somewhere else, said no and left straight ahead with a big smile.
That was the definition of unprofessionalism people. We probably left the place and will never come back there, no matter how beautiful it is and what made me book a table there in the first place. Just a shame really.

Lovely, on the beach. Gets very busy and the placing of the portaloos is unfortunate. Staff didn't know the menu (is the kimchi salad in small plates just salad???) But the menu itself is well labelled got allergens. Tofu poke bowl.

Awful place. Sat down for table service and was totally ignored. Staff were just stood around talking, ignoring customers, and not bothering to take orders. After waiting for ages we left and went elsewhere. Would never recommend this place to anyone.

Nice place where to stay in the sun and music but don't plan to eat here. Startes nice as picture attached but main horrible. 11£ of roll (in reality a baguette) where supposted to have crayfish and crabs but they only putted lidl 2.99£ crayfish and NO crabs. They also admitted to have made the sandwich before and only small piaces of crab were in the sandwich. If I'll find a piace of, I'll tell you folks.
Total bill: 2 starters, 1/2 pint beer (in plastic glass) 2 prosecco (in plastic), 1 main = 40£.

Great outside space so that you can sit in the sun and enjoy Brighton at it's best. The inside is a little weird being a cave complex with some low ceilings but it has it's charm in the fact that it is different. Will be much nice once the renovation works further down are done

Lovely bar right by the sea. We spent a nice couple of hours here watching the world go by. They have a great selection of craft lagers. We had a snack of baby octopus and chips, which were wonderful! Would love to return!

Nice to sit outside during the summer and quite cosy during the winter with the cave like feel.
They do a very reasonable bottomless brunch for £20, much better value than another one I went to elsewhere as it really was bottomless and the staff were not tight with the prosecco! Thanks guys, we had a great time.

Absolute joke. Booked a table online for 7pm on a Saturday evening for food. Arrived and waited a good 10 minutes at the bar to be seated to then be told to order food quickly as the kitchen was being shut for a big group coming in. Took less than 5 minutes to look at the menu and when we went to the bar to order we were told the kitchen was shut. Staff were rude, dismissive and unhelpful.

Very expensive for drinks in brighton.
No drinks menu offered even an hour before closing on the weekend. They turn the lights on after last order even though last order was never announced, asked us to leave at 21.40 even though closing time is stated as 10pm.

Interesting place and I rekon it's a great place to go for some clubbing but we ended up their having an evening meal slash snack and we were the only ones in there. But the food was good and the staff were friendly

Location is perfect, right on the sea front. Outside bar, small but fast service. Staff polite and courteous, can't ask for more.
Food was excellent and tasty, not too unreasonably priced especially considering the location.

The pizzas are good but could do with more food options. The staff are lovely and it's a great spot for sun lounging and getting to meet new friends.
Sound system can clash with their neighbours at times but this tends to be at a point in the night when most of us can only hear bass anyway.
The place for a jug of Pimm's.
