Impeccable service, very attentive with the pets, but comparing with other places some practices are very expensive, maybe is because the area but after treating my cat there I've checked with other vets and the total was 300/400 £ above the usual budget. Is the perfect place If you can afford it

We have been bringing our mini schnauzer to Molly and max for a year now. There were some issues before such as charges were very expensive. Today we brought our dog for annual vaccination for leptospirosis and parvovirus.(he is 14 months). He is very healthy and went to vet in great shape. Right after vaccination was made, he started to vomit, gums turned to white, blood pressure was s down, and our vet wanted to keep him for an additional hour since it was immediate reaction to vaccination she made. So far all are understandable. We showed understanding and waited our dog to feel better. We were worried a lot but as she says can happen eventhough very rare case. After waiting about 90 min when we get the bill, it was 298.83 pounds. When I see the breakdown, I see 30 pounds for blood pressure checking, 83 pounds for fluid theraphy(all were caused by vaccinations that were made). I wonder how can you justify, 30 pounds charge for blood pressure, and 83 pounds charge for fluids while we expect some kind of feeling sorry and responsible charges from Molly and max. Dog got his vaccination at their clinic and all complications were occured over there in front of them. No one can justify over charging this much especially while having some proper responsibility causing all the problem. Again this was not first time we were overcharged, but under this very unpleasant circumstances, instead of showing some responsible manner after causing the issue, we were over charged. 30 pounds for blood pressure, 83 pounds for fluid theraphy... All caused by the vaccination Molly and max applied.what is the cost of blood pressure measurement for gods sake? Under tge same bill there is 53 pounds charge for annual exam and health assesment. So blood pressure does not go under health assesment? Total bill is 298 pounds as if we didnt get simple vaccination but had small surgery. It was our very last time at Molly abd max. I will share this experience with all friends who own pets to warn. Ps: Approximately half of the bill was refunded after our critics by saying company that produced vaccination accepted to refund some of the overpriced bill as a courtesy. Thus some credit goes to that producer. I would prefer to hear it was refunded by Molly and max though. Owner of Moly and max followed our complaints ( basically was defending every single critic one by one, like she did with all other complaints here. But still she responds still I need to mention to be fair for all.) Gorkem

Molly and Max looked after our Border Terrier fantastically while we lived in Fulham- they always put our highly strung dog at ease and they never seemed to try and push anything that would be a superfluous cost. I would thoroughly recommend their team.

AVOID AT ALL COST!! The "Vets" here know absolutely NOTHING. All they care about is the expensive bill they are gonna hand you after looking at your dog, feeling her belly and telling u everything is ok, only for you to go back and find out a few days later that no, everything was not ok. I have sent a complaint email 7 times and not received a single reply. These people are thieves, they will hand you a heavy bill for doing NOTHING. Avoid at all cos, take your pet somewhere else, anywhere but here.

Ella and the team are highly professional and incredibly caring. We unfailingly receive excellent care and attention. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Whenever I call (which is pretty frequently) - they always squeeze us in to suit and the environment is super friendly and relaxed when we arrive. The surgery fit out is exceptional and I believe (don't quote me) that it has been recognised as one of the best in the UK. Roxy (my Weimaraner) has asked me to put her best paw forward as a sign of support for Molly & Max. Woof!

Molly and Max are great - they are really warm and friendly and are fantastic with my pets. I have a dog and two cats, all of whom are looked after by the Molly & Max team. My cats are bengal boys who are not the easiest to treat but Ella and her team are great with them - very patient and understanding. They also have a good system of reminding me when wormers, etc are due - I am not very good with keeping track of these things so their little reminders are very much aprpeciated to make sure all my little fellas are always up to date with everything they need.

My terrier, Beatle has been a patient with Molly & Max for 3 years and in the last year we have had 2 major treatments; the first was for a gastrointestinal virus when she had to be kept in twice and put onto a drip......I know she felt very ill but the care there was so kind and gentle that she soon recovered. Recently she was run over by a car and very lucky to live......her back left leg was badly damaged and torn with fracture in the paw......bone was visible.......I honestly was not sure that the leg could be saved.........Beatle had many operations done by both Ella and Alice and these involved her going into surgery every 3-4 days. The staff and nurses at this practice were quite outstanding in their care for the dog, understanding the stress that she was suffering and caring for her with quiet, gentle handling: the practice has a state of the art operating room and lots of high tech equipment with which to deal with the animals: the kennels and cages are pristine and light and the whole experience is very attentive with follow up calls telling you how your pet is getting on: In my case, Ella and Alice did a remarkable job, managing to stitch several areas and even managed to get tissue to grow again........within a month, Beatle has dressings off, surgery is finally over and she is running free; I can hardly believe the result when I look at the photos of the original injury! I have used many vets for horses and dogs and have used several in London; I can easily say that this is the best service and nicest surgery that I have ever used and I cannot recommend them more highly Thank you Ella, Alice and all the team!.....

My partner and I have recently bought our first pet together - a little kitten called Rolo. As a first time 'parent,' I have been ever so worried about him and have taken him to the vets on numerous occassions. Dr Rebecca has been a SUPERSTAR - not only has she clearly explained everything to us and what we need to do, but she does a thorough check up of him every single time. I would highly recommend this practise to anyone who has a new pet. Only down side is the cost of the items there that they advise you to use. Rolo had fleas when we first bought him from his breeder and we were advised to buy the spray for the house. It was £24 in the Vets and £11 on amazon so we bought it there instead!

YOU COULD NOT BE IN BETTER HANDS… I have been going to Molly & Max now for almost 5 years with my dog Dougal. During his early adolescence we had to figure out all his tummy issues, and boy did he have many. As Dougal was my first dog, I was quite hysterical about everything, but Ella and her team always remained calm and professional and extended to me great advice, gently reassuring me that I was doing the right thing. Ella and her team are warm and friendly and truly care about what they do, they always greet Dougal and I with the utmost professionalism and most importantly as I said before, ‘care.’ Ella is totally driven to deliver the very best service and I could not recommend her highly enough. I will be popping in over the weekend to pick up my worming tablet (for Dougal of course!), being sent text reminders is a tremendous help. The woman is a genuine lover and carer of all things with 4 legs!!!

Avoid at all costs. Me and partner took our 5 year old cat here twice. Not only did they fail to notice serious life threatening issues the first time (tumor/cancer) but also the second time. (After reading up on it we realised our cat was showing all the symptoms of a tumor, which the vets should be trained to spot, not us on google) We also asked them how much our bill would be for the check up. He said £99.84 and when we got to the till my partner was asked to pay £190 and "suprisingly" the vet had managed to dissapear in the 1 minute it took is to get to the till. He also failed to notify us of £2000-£4000 estimate costs when reffering us to an animal hospital which we were told by the hospital is a major part of the refferal. We are definitely not going back and i honestly would reccomend you look elsewhere. Im sure if your pet has a very minor problem this place would be acceptable. But for anything even semi serious i would not trust this place or their vets. We gave them 2 chances and they messed both up. And before the manager/owner thinks of replying to this, please don't, theres nothing you can say to cover this. Its too late.

Sadly, our beloved Abyssinian cat Phoebe, passed away on 3rd Sept 2014 after an illness lasting a few months. Thanks to the loving care, compassion and professionalism of Ella and her superb veterinary practice, we felt fully informed and supported in making the difficult decision to say goodbye to Phoebe when the right time came and before she started to suffer. During Phoebe's illness the practice was flexible in seeing her when she was acutely ill often at short notice, arranged tests in an appropriate and timely way, fed back the results to us in an understandable language and listened to our concerns and respected our views when it came to end of life care for our beloved cat. On the last couple of days of her life we met a new vet, Rebecca, who was simply amazing in picking up the complexity of her case and helping us come to grips with the reality that she was at the end of her life. She was so compassionate in her care shown towards us during our final farewell to Phoebe where her skills and professionalism as a vet were equally matched with genuine kindness and support shown towards both of us and of course Phoebe. Over the time we had been registered with Molly and Max we have had to say goodbye to both our treasured Abys and the team of vets, nursing staff and receptionists have been nothing but superb in their approach towards the care of our cats. We would particularly like to thank Ella, Alice and Rebecca who we can not recommend highly enough. Add them to the bright, modern and well equipped practice and there is nothing more an animal or pet owner could want. We are currently living in a very quiet cat free house, but we are hoping soon to be owners of more Abys and can't wait to introduce them to Molly and Max Veterinary Practice. Thank you Molly and Max! Tim Rees and Simon Eccles. Parson's Green, SW6.

AVOID AT ALL COST IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!!!!! I don't actually believe this practice deserves one star. The NEGLIGENCE and complete UNPROFESSIONALISM my kitten was subjected to under 'Dr Ella's' supposed watchful eye was a complete . After the ordeal he had to endure at Molly and Max if I hadn't had the gut feeling to take him to the RSPCA rather then take him back a second time my kitten may not have made it and for that I solely blame Dr Ella and the Molly and Max practice. My kitten had been throwing up and in a panic I checked on google for Vets in the area and Molly and Max was the first page that came up (no doubt all the money they steal from patients goes towards boosting the search engine results). I made an appointment rushed him over and initially was made to wait over 40minutes due to another animals emergency. When dear Dr Ella decided to join us we told her what was going on how he'd thrown up about 5 times that day not eating anything. WE told her we weren't sure if he had eaten something he shouldn't have. she felt his stomach from behind then with the kitten facing away from her she stuck her finger in his mouth and told us he might have eaten something or it could just be a stomach bug. she checked his temperature which she said was fine and concluded with an injection of God only knows what to 'settle his stomach'. she said if after an hour the vomiting persisted to bring him right back. She said we could make an appointment for the following morning which would only be charged as a recheck £36 as opposed to the initial consultation fee of £48 we had already paid. We brought him home he was very quiet didn't want to be touched and he didn't vomit all night. So the following morning I called back to cancel the appointment and they said no worries. After that 5 hours later he vomited again. We called back they said you need to bring him right back. I asked how much they would charge and the fairy on the front desk told me it was now £48 and if they need to do x-rays that would be a separate appointment on another day and would cost about £300. I told them any more days for any more appointments and took my kitten to RSPCA in Putney. The vet there felt his stomach and very concerned then actually opened his mouth to which he cried so loudly and the vet there told us she could see a piece of thread at the end of his tongue and told us he needed to have surgery right away. they were going to do x-rays straight away to see how far the thread had gone and how deep within his intestines it might have reached. We signed the consents and were told it was already late they couldn't waste anymore time. They started the surgery pretty much straight away. The vet advised us it would be touch and go especially as he was only 6months old. Thank God for the RSPCA they completed the surgery but he had to have 3 incisions and they have had to keep him in for the next few days to monitor him. The injection Dr Ella gave was obviously something to cover up the pain and I have no doubt that she gives it to many patients so a day later you have to book another appointment and she can steal your money and you be told you need another appointment for an x-ray. Had I trusted her my kitten probably wouldn't be alive. Their practice might look all clean and and flash but don't be fooled. This woman is a monster if you love your animal take it to someone like the RSPCA who really do care. The vet who saw us there she was panicking in comparison to the no care attitude of Dr Ella. And when I called Dr Ella back she lied on the phone to me saying she had looked in his mouth. There were 3 of us with our kitten in that room and none of us witnessed her doing this or hearing the scream of my poor kitten when the RSPCA vet checked him mouth. THIS WOMAN IS A LIAR AND A CON ARTIST AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
