We've been taking our cat to this practice for her annual checkup and vaccinations for the past 5 years. Staff members are all very friendly and helpful. They also offer a cat boarding service, which we used a couple of times without any issues.

My cat has seen 4 different vets on 4 visits in past month. All have been great. Treatment appropriate. One visit was classed 'Follow up' and no charge. Vets and basic tests phenomenally expensive though......humans are lucky with dear old NHS!

I have been a client of this Practice since it was owned by a lovely Swedish Vet. Over the past few years it has become part of a bigger group and I have had hit and miss experience with the ever changing staff there. After so many years though of brilliant Vets something happened today that really made me lose my patience. About a month ago I took my cat to the Clinic for a blood test, I was not allowed in the room with him and had to wait outside. After a while the cat was returned to me and the Vet said that she could not take a blood sample because he was trying to scratch and would not let them do it. My cat is a 10 year old jolly moggie that has been to the clinic many times, met many vets and never had an issue. He has never scratched anyone or shown aggression to anyone. I was very surprised and asked to be in the room with him but was denied ( some Covid rule). They said he needed to take a tablet for the test to be done. I have been asked to book him back in to try again. When I got home I noticed that they had scratched his neck badly in the attempt to take the sample and he now had a massive gash on his throat that he did not have before the consultation. I was furious because nothing like that ever happened before. It took me a month to calm down and let the gash heal. I called again to ask that I be let in the room and that another vet try. The very very rude person who answered the phone (and did not introduce herself) cut me short and just said that if my cat was aggressive (when I said my cat is not aggressive the lady on the phone snapped back at me "that is your opinion") they would only do the blood test with the tablet and I would have to pay for taking up the vet time. The vet that was not capable of doing the job the first time and gave a massive scab to my cat that took a month to heal!!! I am very disappointed at the way they have started treating people and I am not sure I want to go back because I have not got trust in them anymore, sometimes it feels they are just trying to charge as much money as they can. I am not saying these words lightly and wish it did not come to this but I am very upset at the lack of empathy the person on the phone showed, and did not even let me speak!

Have just driven my cat all the way from Buckinghamshire to Brackenbury for his annual health check. The team at Brackenbury are so wonderful. Everything they do is to a high standard, all whist being super caring and compassionate. They always take time to do things thoroughly, and although I have moved out of London, the trip back to Brackenbury is worth it, because I know my little fur baby will be in the best hands!

Great staff, very proficient and helpful people work there. Vaccines our Yorkie a couple of times, and also once asked for advice when doggy had some rush, they prescribed meds that helped very quickly. Recommend this vet to anyone who is looking for such service in Brackenbury willage.

Chris and Hayley excellent with nervous big rescue dogs. This is our third rescue dog cared for by this clinic over the past 23 years that we've lived in the area. They've continued with the ethos initially established by Peter whose practice they've taken over years ago. Staff very caring and actually like all the animals (they've also taken care of our hamsters, guinea pigs and rabbit when the children were young). Great to have a local vet who cares and takes time with your dog.

We have been using this practice for all our animals for the last 8 years. Chris and the team are fantastic, we have always been able to get appointments when needed even in an emergency. We had a rough time with one of our dogs and we thought we were going to lose him, thankfully we didn't. Chris called us to keep us updated and Rebekah managed the direct claim from our insurance company. We will not take our animals anywhere else. We feel confident that all the staff at Petcare know what they are doing and actually care for the animals they treat. Chris even called me as he was boarding a plane for his holidays to tell me the test result, which were good news, that to me shows you care. Thank you all at Petcare xx

Unnecessarily unhelpful cattery manager left me thinking, if she's that unhelpful with me, how will she treat my cats. I shall look elsewhere.
Simple, nicely asked question: "what are the measurements for the cat boarding space. it is important to me as i will be leaving them for 2-3 weeks"
answer: "i don't know, you can come and measure them"
to which i asked "if i call back later can someone who works in cattery measure the space. surely you have been asked the question before. "
answer: " i am the manager of the cattery, i am really too busy for that"
too busy to measure the space that you work in every day. too busy to be helpful. so utterly silly and unnecessarily unhelpful.

Vet Chris Knox was great. Very attentive & knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly and made me aware of the choices I had regarding my dog's treatment and the cost implications. Never felt like I was only being offered the most expensive option. Very happy with treatment.

The staff have changed (naturally) over the 25 years + I've been taking my cats to Petcare, but we've always received excellent care and attention. The current team are fantastic - always friendly and efficient, with that extra personal touch. When we lost our cat prematurely before Christmas, the care and sympathy we received was deeply appreciated - and now they are looking after our new kitten - (who won't be paying them too many visits, I hope!!)

Our dog Waffle has received exemplary care. The whole team are very helpful, caring and ,given the amount of footfall , always remember who you are. Waffle is in very good and capable hands for which I am very grateful as she has quite a few medical conditions. The follow up to tests is always dealt with sensitively and quickly by a phone call.

I moved my senior dog from United States to London about a year ago, and it was so important for me to find a practice that would care about my Sophie as much as our previous vet had. She has a few ailments, as well as chronic UTI's. I first saw the vet Laura, and she blew me away in her consult! She took the time to familiarize herself with my dog's complete medical history and gave amazing recommendations. The nurses and staff are so caring and knowledgeable; It's always such a pleasure to see them. Sophie has now seen both vets, Chris and Laura, and they are consistent, calm, and fabulous - they've gotten Sophie on an incredible scientific diet and what do you know, no bladder issues since! Can't recommend this place highly enough.

We've been going to Petcare for around 10 years, with 3 cats (in total). Though we've seen lots of different vets and staff, the care for the cats (and us when the inevitable putting down happens) has always been exceptional, sensitive - and helpful. Never had any problem getting an appointment, clean modern premises - and great news that they've now opened a boarding area. Very happy to recommend.

Very pleased with the whole experience. Arrived early for the appointment and seen straight away. The vet was very friendly, informative and caused the minimum amount of stress to my gorgeous cat. This was my first visit but I am definitely impressed and will make Petcare my regular clinic.

I've been coming to Petcare for my old cat who died just over a year ago and my two cats, Silas and Silvio, for some 10 years at least. The care my pets have had at this small but perfectly formed vets has been exemplary. They are particularly strong on preventative care and I can see the results in two healthy and happy feline scamps.

Always helpful and friendly. Sure it is expensive but quality of care is always first rate. Can sometimes seem a bit distant and corporate particularly after their recent surgery renovations but otherwise no issues...Useful that there is a second surgery in Chiswick that they work with transparently if that is more convenient (or open while this one is closed).

Lucie our 9 yr lab/collie cross is not the easiest of dogs to treat coming from BD&C Home 3 years ago, the team are gentle and experienced. Expensive? I would say that they are the average going rate for inner London.
